Description

Does iTunes realize that season 5 just aired it's 8th episode a few days ago right. I don't have HBO but I pirated it, for free!! Lol. But the thing is, I like to watch it HD, that's why I come to iTunes sometimes, but this is just too late!!

yes, hbo is cheap and milking this show for everything it's worth, but the show itself is more than fantastic.
They have strayed from the book, but stayed true to the characters and I loved every minute of each episode, especially the last.
On a high note hbo go is supposed to be cable free by the launch of the next season.

Terrific season if a bit uneven at times but that's nothing new with GoT.
Who sets the pricing on this stuff? Is there any coordination? The iTunes season is $38.99 but the Blu Ray box set can be had for $34.99 from just about any retailer. The box set includes much more additional content - including commentary tracks - AND it includes a free copy of the iTunes digital download! Don't get suckered in - pick up the box set instead.

There was nothing indicating; when I purchased, I'd have to wait forever!
I waited.....
And now, I get 10 episodes (plus equal amount of 2 minute behind the scenes crap).
Seriously, we waited this long paid the amount for 10 episodes.
I won't do it again.... HBO, just lost another customer.

You can do that or pirate the show on project free TV. Itunes you can check my history I bought 2 seasons when it first came out thinking I can watch it now...nope wrong. It wS a year later when I can watch it. Scam and terrible. Think about this...release in a timely manner like the rest of shows or I will not buy and download it so,ethere else.

Absurd that HBO makes us all wait to see this. I've pirated every show - but never ended up watching, and figured I would purchase something so well made. Joke is on me, though! Whoever makes such decisions at HBO should be fired - they are single handledly going to run HBO into the ground. Remember when AOL was popular? HBO is the next AOL. Every other HBO show - have and will continue to proudly and happily download via other means.

This waiting for the show only makes your viewing public a tad bit annoyed.
Think about it ... Any one of us can either call a friend who has a bootleg or even worse view it on YouTube or other sites that may have it and you let the paying honest folk wait for your predetermined release date. Pompous to the Max.
Thanks for the trailers....pfffft. Please when your signing your poor planned release contracts in the future you might want to consider your real audience...the ones who use U$D's to purchase your products.

This is a great show but it takes too long between seasons on HBO and wayyy too long for it to be on iTunes. It is actually killing the momentum of the show. Fans are getting bored waiting for the seasons and will lose interest. They will need to win a lot of fans back.

Please tell me why you would make a show people love but make it unavailable to purchase? Instead of hoping more people subscribe to HBO just allow them to buy the season you would make more money that way anyways. Frustrating and your losing customers that will now pirate the show instead of pay for it, who's to blame if it's not even available to purchase...

One thing i enjoy doing is staying up late when my favorite shows will air so i can watch the new episode. Currently im patiently waiting for The Walking Dead and Agents of Shield to return. I finally got caught up on GoT and bought the new season eager to watch the rest only to see they wont be released untill mid Febuary. I have never heard of this with any other tv show out there on any channel....get your stuff together HBO you're not making any money pissing people off.

Why is this listed as a sale of all current and future episodes when Apple doesn't have the episodes!? I bought it and then wasted 45 minutes of my time having Apple back out the transaction and give me my money back. They even made me reset my Apple TV and iPad before they finally told me they don't have the episodes. Lame . . .

This Season Pass includes all past episodes of Game of Thrones, Season 4. No available episodes can be found in iTunes as of yet. We will make them available when we feel like it, which can be tomorrow or the next month or maybe after a century where Wi-Fi is transmitting at satellite frequency and you can download any show like this for free... but I’m no longer as excited and as interested!!#@$#%$^

I am really teed off about this. When I bought the "season pass", all 10 episodes were listed. Then, after I paid, and rigged up my home theater to play from my PC (a lot of work), I find out that only a trailer and a 15 minute show fragment are available!!!!! I'm very annoyed.

Yes, we’ve all waited forever for this to be on iTunes … that’s old news.
But, what is this season pass deal. “…includes all current and future episodes of Game of Thrones, Season 4.” I could be crazy, but are there going to be any “future” episodes, and isn’t any “current” episode just an episode that’s been out for over a year? …I’m certainly going to buy Season 4 when it becomes available, but why are they pitching this as a season pass? It was already a frustrating enough ordeal to begin with. Can anyone explain what’s going on here?

but I’m giving this season 5 stars to let people who don’t have HBO GO, or have yet watched the series, and want to purchase it know that it’s probably their best season yet.
Highly recommend this show (and I hated GoT when i tried to first watch it back in 2011, and then again in 2012. 2014 was an eye opener for me with this show),

Have none of the people working in the marketing department heard that this is the most pirated show of all time? With a deparment in HBO releasing seasons almost a year after they start, they are shooting themselves in the foot and losing literally millions in revenue by making everyone (with full internet capabilities) waiting that long. Continuing to wait for iTunes access seems totally uncalled for at this point, and I can't make sense as to why they keep doing this every year with the show getting as popular as its become.

We know the deal by now. But laltley with HBO bringing thier shows onto Digital before the Blu-Ray we figured this could be hear earlier than February, that we could enjoy the show within that calender year on our devices.
And Sadly were wrong again.
So dont even bother with the season pass. Let the waiting begin.
