Just finished the first season last night! Leaves you wanting more for sure! Glad that there are five more seasons.

I started watching this when my mom said it was the most awesome show ever. I agree that it is good but Sherlock us my favorite. I love the mysterious characters and their back stories. I also love it how they all are connected in some way.

There will be never again a show like this. I got addicted to it a year ago when i watched the first episode so i finished the series half a year ago.

Believe it. The reviews are consistent! I watched all 6 seasons 120 episodes in 3 weeks. I don't take back any of the long nights and sleep that I lost. Every emotion a person can feel almost is going to be evoked while watching this show. Trust me. The flashbacks were annoying at first but they r so necessary. I hated jack!!!!!! Loved the show though.

Characterization is what Lost is about. Lost is about the characters. Their life in the past, their life in the present and their life in the future. Lost is something that will quite literally pull you into these character's lives and not let go until you finish the series. Watch it. Now.

You really only get a 30-minute show if you fast forward through the pointless flashbacks as I do. But it's still a guilty pleasure.

I was having Ian somerhalder withdrawals because the vampire diaries isn't back on to October so I decided to give this show a shot. It's so much more exciting and suspenseful than I thought it would be. I love all the characters accept Jack. He's way too dull. Hurley is hilarious. It's a great show if you want to see something different!

I started watching lost last year. It had been on tv all the time and I alwase wanted to watch it but just couldn't find the time to actually watch it. And I am the type of person the HATES spoilers so I never watched it when it was on.

Well after Christmases I had a pretty hefty amount of money. I decided to buy season one of lost. Man I just could not stop watching it. I had to pace myself because I was going through to many episodes to fast, and I wanted to slow it down so I could make it last longer. Before I knew it I had watched every single episode of lost.

It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. There are so many Great things I can say about This show. Watch it you will love it. It will be one of those things you will go back to after a few years and just want to watch it all over again, share with others that have not seen it. And when it is far gone from those minds of people that only heard of it. It will still be with you. You will pass it down to your children as if it were the best bed time story possible.

An absolutely amazing show that will keep you hanging on from start to finish. Great cast, characters whom you feel a connection with, a very original plot, cool scenery... what more could you ask for? I've become addicted to this, kind of like a pothead is addicted to weed (pardon me), and I have no regrets, even though my girlfriend didn't talk to me in over a month...

LOST changed my life.

I started watching this show after the 6th season was already done because Ian somerhalder was in it and i got through the 5th season.... in my opinion, the first season is AMAZING! it was my favorite then the second season was okay and after that the show gets into all this supernatural stuff and just isn't good anymore. I think it would've been better if they kept the show about people trying to get off an island but they kind of ruined it. The first season's good though! up until episode 19 :(

I started watching lost and couldn't stop! I watched all six seasons in October and November, and then for Christmas my mom got me the LOST encyclopedia because she knows how obsessed I am with this show! I'm rewatching it over again and picking up on anything that I missed. And I've got serious ADHD, so to be able to sit through something, hours at a time, should let you know how captivating this show is.

Fantastic writing, amazing acting, shocking plot twists in every episode, mysteries that surely ( or is that Hurley?) won't be solved for a while, and a viewer's attention through the whole season held in place by the story of 48 castaways on an uncharted island with polar bears, "Others", a strange something in the ground, and a Frenchwoman who has had her fair share of misery on the island alone. This is, without a doubt, the best television show of all time.

Started this series after watching all of 24. It will appeal more to those who are drawn to a less structured, less realistic series. Series feels a bid random... like the writers decided to see just how bizare they could get without completely losing the audience. I watch it as I'm on the treadmill. Good enough for that purpose, but no way I'd stay with it any way. Helps my kill 45 minutes a day.

iTunes, this is ridiculous. I paid $35 for the 1st season of Lost. I just started watching the show, and bought the pilot and the second episode separate. The quality on those is fine, but when I watch the ones I bought frome the season pass, the quality drops severely. Other than that, this is a great show, but this is ridiculous.

When i first heard about lost someone told me they watch it and i should to when you first hear of the name you think of it being some survior knockoff but once you get into the story it's anything but survivor. Lost is a very thrilling,mysterious,dark,majestic, and just all around a very in depth mind challenging series that will have you in a persive mood all day. if you haven't already you need to see the first season even though it starts off slow once you see one episode you'll want to see another trust me you won't be dissapointed buy the first season or even the first episode and you'll see what i'm talking about.

I must say, this is the best show you'll see in a while. LOST captivates both drama and mystery fiction fans of all ages. As the show progresses, the characters develop bonds with each other, driving a good story. We witness the Oceanic Flight 815 crash survivors' past via flashbacks. Each finely crafted character leaves behind a tough life when they arrive on the island, taking a fresh start for redemption. Throughout the show, we explore the island's mystical (and disturbing) properties, with more foreshadowing than you could ever imagine. It's worth checking out at least, no matter who you are.

Simply put, Lost is the greatest tv show ever created. Watch all seven seasons.

I was lost in this show I started watching this show because my best friend had it and i was injured with nothing else to do so i watched it and i couldnt stop i watched season 1 in one day i couldnt stop watching i felt like an addict well actually i guess i am this is one of the best shows i have ever seen actually i have never in my life watched every episode of a tv show this is a first i useally dont like a show enough to do that but LOST is not a useally show anyway i love it

I watched the first 5 seasons in 2 months, and I don't think that anything has changed my life any more than LOST.

I went to my friends house one time and we were bored and didnt know what to do. so my friend suggested we watch Lost. I watched a few of the first episodes and I've been watching it ever since. This is probably the most addicting show, and if you just plan to "watch the first episode" well, your plans arent gonna end there.

Lost is amazing. I saw Pilot Pt. 1 in school a while back, now i'm hooked. "All The Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues" was one creepy episode I will say, but man every single episode is better than the last. If you haven't seen Lost before, go buy it....like NOW!!! All I can say was spending my last $25 on Lost Season 1 was a great decision and the show is worth its salt.

Simply the most amazing and surprising hour of television, that is until the end of season 3. John Locke is simply one of the most compelling and mysterious characters, I hope he stays around at least until the end of the series. LOST without Locke would be nowhere near as gripping or interesting.

this show is totally brilliant! i heard lots of people talking about this show but i never got around to watching it. when i rented the first season, disc one DVD, i was blown away; ever since then i have been totally addicted to the show! its amazing!!!!!!! once you get started, you'll definitely get hooked. i love it!

The show is great. This is charecter development at it's best. What did tick me off, and you can call me a mizer if you want, but iTunes makes you purchase the last episode (which aired as a two hour special episode) seperatley. Why? Take my advice and watch it on DVD and not through iTunes. If you have to watch it on iTunes, purchase the whole season and not single episodes!

I put off downloading this, thinking that I'd buy the DVD set instead and all could watch. This is less expensive but way better. Up close and personal. I love watching on my 'pod, and that's what it's for. Really - the one-on-one of the pod, the headphones - great. And the show...! Gee, that's what this review is about, right? Little touches like the Colonel seeing his toes, his socks, after the crash - so real, personal; then the reveal at the end of the episode. Well worth my purchase 'cause I didn't see all of the episodes and didn't really know what the characters were all about. A good use of the pod for a "must watch all" kind of series.

This show really is exceptional. The writers/creators are absolute geniuses, and the show has a very intense and suspenseful plotline throughout the entire season. The characters are amazingly well developed, and I love the "flashback" element of the show where the viewers get to learn more about each character's past. Another great thing about Lost is that it can be enjoyed by almost all age groups, and it makes a great discussion topic at the dinner table, at the office, etc. One warning - once you start watching this show, it becomes very addictive! This show is amazing. The best series that has ever been on TV. It amounts far beyond CSI, House, 24, or any of those other shows shown on the networks. The plot is so complex, the characters are not even close to being shallow, and you're on the edge of your seat for every minute. If you havn't seen it- you have no idea what you are missing.

If you havent seen "Lost" yet, you are missing out my friend, it is a show that rises above most other tv shows today, its a tv show for people who love movies. I never thought there could be so many plot twists thrown harmoniously im one show all in a row and actually work, but "Lost" has DEFINITLY pulled it off. No matter how I tried, I still got hooked on Lost! All the time at work it was "Did you see Lost last night!"

I have downloaded and watched both parts of the pilot and as hard as this is for me to say, I am hooked. I tried to fight it, and it beat me.

I found Lost... thanks to my iPod with Video. I never had time to watch the show; but now I can while waiting at airports, while flying, sitting in stalled commuter traffic and when on the treadmill. I'm hooked on the show and my the video capabilities of my iPod.

If Apple hadn't made this deal with ABC and released the iPod video, I probably would have never watched this show. This is one of the best dramas on TV, and it continually shocks and raises questions. The idea is simple, but the execution is incredible.

It is more the story line that keeps me interested. I want to see how it ends. I just hope it gets there before it is cancelled or something... The show has some great episodes that make you want to watch the next one, but 60% of the episodes seem to just be... okay. Nothing to brag about and actually makes you wonder why you are watching the series. It's like golf, it's those great shots that make you go back. I just hope the episodes get better and that Season 2 will be all great episodes - the problem is I am addicted to the story now.

I became a fan of LOST about a year ago - and I truly believe it is hands-down, the single best show on TV. It is absolutely entrancing to watch - and always, when it's over, I'm so disappointed! Not because it was not a good show, but most definitely because it's always over much too soon. I have to admit, I was a skeptic at first, but once I got into it and started to understand the ever-weaving plot and various personalities - not to mention the consistently well-written script and story-line, I can't seem to get enough. I only wish the show could be on more than once a week. Thanks - to those who participate in the making of LOST. Finally something on TV worth watching!!

I will agree with a lot of reviewers that LOST kicks serious booty. I don't think I've ever seen a TV show that used backstories as plot twists and character development (which may just mean I haven't watched a lot of television lately). It's a wonderful use of the medium. I don't disagree with those that say some of the plots are unoriginal, but I will argue that the method of weaving them into the story (and sometimes twisting the vantage point episodes later (favorite ex. is when Jin is washing the blood from his hands and Sun slaps him)) is brilliant. It reminds me a little of Crash, where you're forced to re-evaluate your opinions of the characters. That's fun. Trying to figure out what exactly is going on on the island is a lot of fun as well (personally, magnetic fields and reference to B.F. Skinner has my wheels turning). I truly hope the writers are honest when they say they know what is going on. I'd hate to see a fizzle-out effect like Twin Peaks. I also hope that, like Tarantino, more storytellers use forshadowing and flashbacks to captivate the viewer and make them think. Always a good time.

I refused to jump on the O.C. Bandwagon...I might watch Laguna Beach with waning interest or some Law and Order SVU...but LOST takes the island coconut cake! The character development in such an action-packed show is what jets me to the island with the survivors.

LOST gives me hope in a hopeless world. LOST is television dessert. Actually, if LOST were in movie theaters, I would bring a sleeping bag and watch every show and drink Red Bulls, even though I hate Red Bulls, just to stay awake and see everything that happens. Everyone is so into Lost I had to get started watching. I couldn't just jump in so I downloaded the first two episodes and it was so amazing I have been getting more and more and soon hope to be caught up. You'll get hooked. real good!

I think he just played a joke on me. "You got to watch this show! It's awesome!" he said. Well..after buying the first episode on iTunes, ordering the entire first season on Netflix. You only get 3 DVD's at a time. THREE!!! I couldn't count on our Postal Service to find out what happens next! Yes...I downloaded nearly $50 worth of LOST and my wife no longer speaks to me. What a show! It's amazing in the way that heroin is amazing to a heroin adict. (Pardon) But that's just how it is. I love it and I absolutely hate it!!! I'm actually glad I found the show in it's 2nd season. I mean what would I have done from Wednesday to Wednesday in between episodes? Anyways, thanks bro! Jerk!

As with many people, I first bought the pilot to "see what they hype was all about". Soon afterwards I had bought the whole season, and I watched the first 10 episodes in three days. This show will keep you wanting to watch the next episode. The characters are well-drawn, and the main focus of the show is on their lives. Learning about each person and why they are on the island, and why they act the way that they do drive the show forward in a gripping way. I would highly reccomen this show to anyone who deas not mind losing sleep for a week, since watching lost will occupy all of your free time

The title of my review basicly describes it. This is, by leaps and bounds, one of the best shows ever, and by far the best on currently. The storyline, the twists, the suspence, the acting, the characters, all of it, it all fits together to provide a truly awesome show.

Dont try to watch this show in the middle, or starting on season two, because none of it will make sense. The first season, this one, was very strong, and the second is going just as well.

If television usually irritates you, due to lack of content and vision, look no further than this show. It's more like an ongoing movie, with characters that you feel a connection with. Simply phenomenal!!!

This show works so very well for two reasons. First of all, the storyline's twists, turns, questions and befuddlements hold a difficult and elegant balance: there are enough twists to keep you guessing, but enough answers (or at least seeming ones) to keep you from going insane.

The second, and perhaps strongest, point about the show is its flashbacks. Most television these days uses flashbacks on a limited basis, and only in an episode where they need to explain the motivation of a particular character who is about to do something perhaps a little out of the ordinary.

LOST, however, focuses on the flashbacks. The story is not really what's going on with the island, that's just there to keep you coming back, week to week. The story is really *how* the characters got to the island, and how they got to be so darn complicated.

Impeccable writing, complex but not annoying storyline, focus on characters as more important than mere plot, well-balanced casting, solid performances from most of the characters, mature directing, and the willingness to take some real gambles (rather than just rewriting what works) earn this show a glowing 5 stars.

I made it a point to put only my favorites on my new video iPod. This first season made the cut, which I am quite happy of.

I never liked lost before, but now i can't help myself but watch it on the bus to school and at home! Videos on iTunes is one of the best ideas they've come up with.

Even thought we have tivo, this show slipped by us. We heard the hype, saw the magazine covers, and even tried tried to watch it from the middle of the series (don't even try)
