Great series but this season was mostly filler. Still had a lot of important info for future seasons but mostly filler.

If you haven’t watched GOT yet I am so jealous ! I’d be embarrassed to say how much I’d pay to watch this again for this first time. Fargo is right behind GOT on my all time fav list.

The fat, dumb, inept man is a stereotype that is overused and lazy writing. Yelling at someone with empty threats is not a power or strength. It makes the characters seem stupid. I’m a 75/98lb girl and I’m going to beat you up? Really!? More cable tv Foolish People tv for Fools.

I bought the complete season, yet I have to pay an extra 2.99 for the first episode of the season? What the heck is that about?

Come on HBO!! I had finished Vikings and Penny Dreadful. Still no Season 4! Where’s the love? Please make it available here in iTunes already. I got time to burn this coming holiday.

HBO has produced amazing shows during the last decade, but witholding GOT from iTunes because of greed is unacceptable! I’m sorry HBO but you have left me with no option but to torrent. Your reputation and credibility has been damaged by this, perhaps more than you realise.

I doubt anyone can question the quality of the film making, sets, environment, or acting and what must be a good producer and everything. It's got an addictive allure. But with all that, it still doesn't do anything. WIth only 8 to 10 episodes a season and multiple story lines and many characters, you would think each episode would be jam packed with forward movement into the stories. But nay. Nothing happens most episodes. Instead each episode seems to be split into thirds, each being a detailed look at a single unmoving scene. We could stare at a path in the woods for 20 minutes while someone discusses doing something or simply hints at it. It might finally happen 3 episodes from now, or more likely it will happen between episodes and you will never see it at all. You will know it has come to pass when they return to the path in the woods and discuss it some more.

I'm long beyond this season now, but I can tell you I'm no further into any of the storylines. I've now watched the first of the next season where things were said to start happening. Without spoiling anything, I can safely report there is nothing for me to spoil yet. This many seasons in, I dare now expect there never will be.

This all seems like an exersize or research into just how far they can push the viewing public away while maintaining the allure. Well, I'm cutting the cord. Make sure you note how long your strung me along. I hope it was worth it. It's taught me not to bother next time, with the next one.

It doesn't deserve 5 stars as a whole. Actors/environement/film=5, storytelling 1. I rate it a three with a heavy warning to save your time for something more fruitful.

Really good show, even though it strays from the novels in a few areas, it still manages to be one of the best shows I've ever seen, and amazes me time after time.

HBO offered Season 3 appearing as though it was completely available. I took the iPad with me while traveling expecting to actually SEE Season 3…WRONG, only behind the seems stuff. When will they actually release the actual episodes?

I just spent (wasted) money to download this HD show, only to find out that it won't play on my Mac since it only supports "HDPC Displays". Aggravating waste of money. Now I have to find out how to get a refund.

Why doesn't the purchase state these restrictions?

LOR derivative yes, but most of us had read the books so there where no surprises. LOR is great for sure, but was completed long ago. This on the other hand is brilliant.

This show only gets better and better with each episode and each season. Great acting, writing, directing, production all around. This season is the best yet.

I love Game of Thrones, but the reason for my 2-star rating is because of the fact that i had to wait an entire year for HBO to release it. HBO and iTunes need to find a solution for this really quick because its frustrating for people who don't have HBO on their TV.

One look at the skeletal remains of the dragon head in the catacombs under the city and you reaalize all the battles and even the windwalkers are nothing compared to what is on the horizon. I am puzzled as to how past dragons were defeated. Yet therein lis the key to the future struggle. I have't read the books and don't wish to sppil it. The cover art suggests the real danger to the realms is approaching.

You won't be disappointed. Hopefully GoT S4 will be more readily available on iTunes and not take another year to come out ...

i watched all of the seasons on on demand, one right after the other and WOW its a brilliant show! :D loved the third season especially too ; )

The story is amazing this season is one of the best of 3 can't wait for season 4

iTunes and HBO have the nerve to charge $39 for each season when most big name box stores charge $29. On top of it all I had to wait months for it to release!! Never buying from iTunes again.

$3.99 an episode (HD) for shows from last season?! That’s a little nuts.

The show is epic but iTunes continually takes too long to update. I forgot how old this season was....seeing the King of the North reminded me. The red wedding seemed to happen years ago but it's in this current season. Please update faster, I will not buy another season on iTunes if it takes a year to be offered.

Hint, get the HBO app then you can watch it anytime, even the next day after it was aired.

You probably expected tp pay nearly $40 to purchase Season 3, but you won't get it here. It's a bunch of previews and teasbaxteers, and iTunes is absolutely shameless about selling it to you for that price ($10 less if you get standard definition).

This is the reason pre-ratings should not be allowed. Everyone who rated this a 2-5 was just psyched about the upcoming season and assumed a full one would be available on iTunes.

iTunes says the episodes will download automatically when they are released by HBO. You people did not spend the money on the trailers. It specifies everything if you take a moment to read the details. Great show nonetheless.

to me the whole point of a season pass is to download and own the episodes of a season once they become available for purchase. As noted in an earlier review HBO decides when the episodes become available, not Itunes. yes it is such a bummer the HBO is taking so long to release these episodes for purchase. though the longer you go without being able to watch them the more you will forget and want to recap on what has happened in previous seasons, and what better way to do that than buy and watch the seasons over again? this is HBO saying FEED ME MONEY

On iTunes Australia, one was able to buy the Season 3 episodes the day they were released last year. I waited to buy this season only to find out there are no episodes available?!?!? HBO should not have any wonders as to why this show is so heavily pirated. This is a shameful distribution model that actually punishes the US consumer. It is a real shame that HBO is willing to release their product to the Australian market and not the US market.

I am tired of behind the scenes content being added as marketing reminders. Releasing this content in this method makes me want to not watch the show.

I don't know what the deal is but this has been avail on Itunes europe for several months.... HBO did this because they thought it would help cut down on piracy? How I have no idea..... I got season 3 months ago but would have gladly paid for it if it was avail but sick of waiting around. Good job guys!

This review is more for iTunes than the show (which is amazing!).

It's funny how Apple feels the need to tell me that a new episode is available, which is "Season 3: In Production" when they're almost 1 year behind, to the month.

I won't be buying a season 4 pass for $40 - it's a ripoff to pay that much for reruns when I can get them from other services for less and much, much sooner.

Why would they make the "season pass" explanation sound like you can view all of the existing episodes and make us pay 30$ for a trailer? This is ridiculous and definitely made me extremely upset at HBO and iTunes for the false ad.

In which century is HBO operating? Love the show, but the backwards business plan has created HBO's pirating problem. Everyone who would buy season three has already seen it. Put it on sale in a relative time window like every other venue that is thriving. There are thousands of people that will never subscribe to the cable snake oil, but will pay top dollar for this great show.

Already watched the season a few months ago somewhere else. Not impressed with HBO either for taking so long to release. Irritating fans is the best way to lose them. Maybe iTunes and HBO will be able to figure this one out.

I love GOT, it's ,y all time favorite series and books as well. But why I'm the world did it take a whole year for it to come out on iTunes?? I've already seen season 3 like 4 times. Game of Thrones is an HBO production, which means they decide when it's released, they decide when the season pass will be offered, not Apple, not iTunes, only HBO.

The story line is just so riveting—season 3 doesn’t disappoint! However, as hard as it is, don’t get too attached to any of the characters because they’re probably going to die. Martin has no sympathy for anyone—be warned!

Can't wait to complete my GOT collection with Season 3. Having said that, wouldn't the season pass make more sense when the show originally aired?
