Way before The Harley Quinn version, we had this Birds of Prey! Yeah it wasn’t perfect but it was good for it’s worth!

Love plot and the actors and actresses and love superheroes wish it did not get cancelled.

The main issue is the script. The dialogue is just pathetic and the acting is awful. Of course, the screenwriters did not give them anything to work with. There is no connection/charisma between any of the characters.

Note: Shemar acts exactly the same here as he did in Criminal Minds. It really shows his lack of skills and lack of growth over the years. He is eye candy.

This came out at 2001 I think, and it's 2016 and I'm still loving this show. Wish they made more though...It was awesome! But, I wish they had at least put batman in it for at least one episode at least. It would be really interesting.

I do not like superhero characters usually and am definitely not a fan of batman, but I just loved this show right from the beginning. Huntress is a fascinating character, and I wish it had not been cancelled.

BoP was recommended to me by Genius because I like Smallville. It's rumored to be a spin-off of Smallville. From an entertainment stand point, it's not so good. From a comic book continuity stand point, most comic book fans would probably find it even more disappointing. Only watch it if you are really bored and have an extra $25 laying around.

I'm a huge Batman fan and I really liked the comic book this was based on so I was excited at the at the idea of Birds of Prey as a TV series.

All that said I was hugely disappointed by the WB series. On many occasion I've been be the first person to say the TV series (or movie) isn't the comic book, so I gave it a chance and followed all 13 episodes and while I liked the actors, especially Dina Meyer, even they couldn't save writing which was truly subpar and storylines that were painful pedestrian.

The series probably would have hit it's stride if it had gone into a second season but we'll never know.

This show is utter crap. Once again we've got WB taking horrible liberties with DC-canon. The acting is too poor to even merit a rating of "sub-par." The picture is horribly murky, the lighting could have been done better with flash-lights and halloween glow-sticks, and the sound mixing is just dreadful. It's hard to believe that as recently as this show, somebody got away with mono-sound instead of stereo, which is itself, already an old standard. This show is honestly like someone gave a camera-rig and $500 to some small-town community theatre troupe and told them to make a superhero story. Each and every one of the characters who's backstories were gutted to write this show, are much more interesting in the comics and in other tv-shows than this show makes them out to be. Huntress, Batgirl and Black Canary would have made one hell of a premise for an awesome show, if the producers had respected the characters and been faithful to the source material. Instead, we got this... the tv-equivalent of Halle Berry's "Catwoman," only without any real actors, production-designers, cinematographers, writers, or effects designers. Buy it for a laugh. Anything else is a waste of time and money.

This is a great show- nothing like a little girl power. I didn't watch because i am more into superman than batman storyline so i watch smallville but this so much beter. If a Wonderwoman story line is ever or finally put together i hope it has the same feel like this one.

Ok, so the show isnt really for avid Batman fans I get that. But if you like Smallville, these are so similiar in tone you have no excuse to bad mouth this. I think Ashley Scott is a great lead, and the action feels appropriate for tv much like Alias. Too bad no one gives shows like this a chance anymore. Was this on Fox? I wouldnt be surprised.

I was so excited to find a strong female character driven show. This series rocks. Great casting and a very talented cast.

i really used to like this show but just like enterprise, and now, battlestar galactica, no one appreciated it and it was cancelled

This show is bloody effing great. Cracking show. I love Ashley Scott, she does such a good job of playing Huntress. Plus the fact that all 3 of them are quite beautiful young women. Dinah's a little young, but then again, so am I. She looks to be about my age actually. I think all the parts are very well cast. Cracking show.

The girls can't act, the depth is removed, and all you're left with is a bunch of annoying females pretending to be superheroes. I bought it expecting to see some of my favorite heroes/villains come to life only to see a watered down version of their true awesomeness. This is nothing but a "girl power" show, and it's really annoying that way.

I'm glad to finally see Birds of Prey appear in some form. This was a good show, that wasn't given the chance to shine! Thanks itunes..

Ok everyone let's not be so critical, yes the production is kinda b-rated but what do you expect from comic book based TV-show with no where near the budget of a full screen version. Besides i find hot chicks running in leather pulling extreme tricks very entertaining. But then i was one of those guys atracted to angelina jolie for the same reason. oh well, bring on the action.

This one season story is very well written, has very strong characters, and has been filmed in a comic book style. Not only does this story feature 3 dynamic and different female heroes, but also features a female villain. The acting successfully brings you into the story plots of what the 3 female heroes are feeling, and even lets you peek into the madness of the villain. The style that these stories are written in and filmed in takes you alone like you would experience a comic while reading. Visually very well done, and very well acted.

I loved this show when it was on T.V. I was so sad when it ended. I thought that they had put together a great story with a great cast. I'm glad its on iTunes now.

I can't believe that you have this on iTunes!!!! I have the season on VHS (yes, I'm older...GET OVER IT!!) and have always wanted to transfer to DVD but never have the time. I can finally download the season (once I get home from work....they don't like that here) and enjoy it all over again. I agree, it wasn't the greatest show but yeah, it was diffferent and entertaining.

Sadly this show wasn't given a chance to survive on TV. Well written and adapted with an exceptional cast! Happy to see it's been posted here for download, I really enjoy this Batman spin-off!

This is such a surprise! When this first came out, I absolutely loved it! I taped every episode and hated that it wasn't renewed for a 2nd season. Now if they could just get Point Pleasant on here, that would be amazing!

It has been years to get this shows on DVD, and now they finally have it on itunes!! This show is so great!! It is unlike anyother show. It has the action, romance, and evil, all you could ask for. This show is so great, and anyone would be a fool not to watch it!!

Birds Of Prey was actually a pretty good show. I was very sad to see it go off the aire. I really enjoyed watching it, not to mention Ashley Scott is really hot.. I'd give this show an 8/10 but its worth getting!

I hadn't seen it before here on itunes, it's a great show. I love the plot, I never really payed attention to any storylines after batman before and this show has opened up a whole new world for me. I am very sad, however, to see people stoped watching to the point where they cancled the show by the 13th episode.

I read the review the show was not too good and only downloaded the pilot. Well they were wrong its a pretty good show.Not 5 star but worth watching. Download the pilot if your on the fence.

I like Birds of Prey. I wish I liked it more. I can't think of a more worthy story for a series or movie, and the production value and entertainment factor are high here. But... the casting. It's very Showtime LateNite. These girls aren't great actors, but that's not a problem in and of itself -- a lot of television actors aren't so great. They're just so very un-superhero, it almost makes the show seem like a softcore knock-off. If you're not already a fan, I'd recommend purchasing a couple episodes first rather than the whole season and see how you like it.

Okay so love the storyline , but huntress needs a mask like in the comic hello why do they keep changing things thinking it makes it better the old or rather correct way is still cooler . Get it together people !!!!!!

I am a comic book geek and have always followed adaptations. Birds of prey was great for tv. Here in Los Angeles it was on during basketball season and 2 or 3 episodes were intrupted for the Clippers. As far as I knew they never were rebrodcasted. I am buying it right now.

I abolutely love this show! I'm so glad that I-tunes picked it up. I'm sad to hear that it was cancelled after one season. The acting is wonderful and the fight scenes are flawless! Good show

Wow, I've been looking for this show on DVD forever but it was never released. So I was very surprised to see it here on iTunes. It wasn't the greatest show on TV but it was a fun one while it lasted.

The show was ok, but many of the eps are uneven. Also the fact the many of the music cues where changed, like the theme, are really out place.

I'm a big batman fan and thought I'd give this show a chance. This is once of the worst Sci Fi shows I've seen in a while. The plot's are shallow and the acting is subpar. I just think these actresses are in bad roles with this show.

I can't believe its actually on ITUNES. This show was one of the first that I can actually say, that I was sad to see go after one season. It may not have been one of the best but it defintely was different and had its own charm. Glad to finally have access to all episodes. Can't wait to see it again.

Glad this was added. But the only complaint I have is that the opening credits theme is changed. It's not "I'd Start a Revolution" by Aimee Allen. Not going to make a big deal about that simply because the DVD I can assume is the same way
