It took 20 years to finally tell this story. Extremely well put together.

I love the film, it’s filled with so much information I never knew about Jordan and the Bulls. I grew up in this era of basketball but the film is more than nostalgic, it’s all around great.

This was way past my time, but Space Jam was a movie I was well acquainted with as a kid and watched it religiously every weekend which gave me a larger than life personification of Michael Jordan as the greatest basketball player of all time. I never watched sports, ESPN, or anything along those lines as I didn’t have access to sports networks. I missed out on the 1990s Chicago Bulls, but this documentary-series was phenomenal and really immersed me into the world of these emotionally captivating and talented young players as they continued to win NBA championship after the next despite the odds. However, it either came with a hefty price or a disappointing loss. The documentary itself I must say did focus primarily on Michael Jordan and I would’ve loved to see more of Scottie Pippin and Dennis Rodmon who were just as incredible. It really saddens me to see Scottie Pippin having a beef with his long time best friend and former team mate Michael Jordan; I see his point of view, but I just do not know what to say of the whole fiasco. Sports fan or not, this documentary series is a must watch for anyone.

In a way, The Last Dance can be considered simply, a Michael Jordan puff piece. And in some ways, the bias towards MJ and his influence on the documentary shows. However, Jason Hehir’s thrilling direction and edit of this miniseries and the fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls vastly overshadow any flaws this has.
9/10

I was a teenager when this all happened. I only watched the games, not ESPN, didn’t read the news. Having the backstories filled in was fascinating. I had forgotten a put the clutch shooters Paxton and Kerr. I just remember the entire bench being critical.

One long ass commercial...

I was lucky enough to grow up in the 90’s watching MJ play. He was my childhood hero. A great documentary documenting their championship-winning run in the 90’s.

Isaiah Thomas gave it 1 Star.

This documentary brought me back to the great memories of 1990s. Was a great distraction from what was happening in the world with sports not being played. If someone asks me how I would remember 2020, this documentary would be it. I was looking forward to 5 Sundays in a row starting 4/17/2020. Hehir and his staff did a fab job given their limitations due to the virus.
