It’s the accuracy and relatability for me. I would love for this show to have more seasons, but I understand and respect why it’s ending soon.

There is one primary criteria for me for a show that is truly binge-able: Do I care about the characters.

Not only do I quickly become involved in each character of Pose, I become quite attached and feel a vested interest in their well being. Its hard to write characters this well but when you do, the drama has a higher arc, their context becomes a little bit my own and the humors has me laughing with the characters, not at a joke.

More please. I love to love pose.

This show is amazing! FX, just like HBO, has been producing some spectacular tv shows. From the set to the actors this show shines!

This is such an amazing show that brings back our history. On top of the historical significance, it is SO well written and the cast is so good. Honestly, if you haven’t seen this yet I don’t know what’s wrong. Lol must see...especially if you’re gay and even more if you’re gay and black.

The representation, the writing, the drama, the music, the dancing, the aspirations, there’s just so much going into this show and it’s all blended so perfectly. I’ve laughed, cried, gasped, and much more while watching this. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect way to spend my time. Thank you to the all whole cast and crew for giving us such an amazing experience. Can’t wait for season 2!

Brilliant & Relevant History!

Ryan Murphy is a genius! The topics no one else dare to touch and Ryan did it, one the best decisions they have made was to use the real transgender actors in the show and making everything even more convincing. If you haven't seen this yet just download it, you won't regret.

For $5 I thought I’d give it a try. I fell in love with the show and the characters. It’s rare a tv show can make me cry. Amazing.

Seconds into Pose I was transported back to 1987, the best & worst time of my life.

One of the best shows I’ve ever seen.

This show is amazing. It’s so real and so relatable to everyone weather your gay, straight, trans or whatever. This shows the HIV struggle in the early 80’s and the discrimination that the LGBTQ Community was treated with then. This is a show about family and the lives of a group of LGTBQ people that have all met and are building a home for them.

This show changed me.

This series showcases real people and real stories. Janet Mock & company really deliver an authentic portrayal of LGBTQ life.

I knew after watching the first episode that this was something special. The acting is phenomenal. The stories, impactful. The people are so real, and we would do well to pay attention.

Simply amazing! The cast are EVERYTHING! I am obsessed!! Thank you Ryan Murphy!

58 year old white gay man old fart in a 34 year monogamous relationship, so what do I know about the ball scene? I am absolutely mesmerized by this show and cast. Billy Porter needs to win an Emmy for his acting in the scene where he learns his HIV status. I wish I could thank him.

We are ALL part of the community, even though I did not experience the ball scene myself. But I experienced the horror of the time and fear of the disease. Heartache is heartache, love is love, and I LOVE this show and it’s cast. They bring to life the grief and prejudice we all STILL experience, and show us how we can be strong in love. I love you all!

This is one of the most touching shows I've ever seen. I cry at least once every episode. The struggles the characters face and the triumphs they have are real, and I'm so grateful FX let these stories be told. It's honestly a must-watch.

Never before has something showcased both queer pain but also queer joy in such a way. Each episode will remind you of the hardships and break you down a bit, but then build you back up and then some, leaving you smiling and even sometimes crying.

Greatest show ever

A very truthful joyous and heartbreaking view into 1980s NYC HIV and LGBTQ people.

A masterpiece, a history lesson, and a total ball.

This is the best show in ages!!! It’s very real, full of the pain and the love we all want to feel. It’s about acceptance of others and of ourselves. It’s a must see.

Who would think to take the concept of Paris Is Burning and turn it into a tv show? I enjoyed Paris Is Burning and I enjoy this equally. Very realistic.

This show is everything and more...what a time to be alive 😄

When I was @22, in the early 90's, I remember watching "Paris is Burning" on VHS over and over. It is an amazing doc about ballroom culture (it was filmed I believe in the late 80's?).

I learned alot about the ball culture/ competitions and formed familes from that doc. It was beautiful and heartbreaking. I found myself mesmerized and I rooted for the people in it to suceed and have their dreams realized. Please watch it if you have not. I had to bring up beacuse it's just an unforgetable film.

I was really excited to see Pose! So far, really like the first episode of Pose, and look forward to more-Although nothing can top Paris is Burning :)

Brings me back to a lil 15 year old gay boy still very unsure about himself at the time where I met other kids like myself and Femme Queens who inspired me growing up that helped me find myself and come to identify as a transgender woman that I am today this show is amazing and hits all my feels it’s very close to home with me I’m grateful for the ballroom scene and now this show will shine a positive light for the urban LGBTQ culture and lifestyle thank you POSE.
