The plot, the characters, the deep meaning and spirituality, the humor and all the details. Watched the entire series at least 50 times all the way through and never get sick of it.

The people in the reviews are wrong: There are NOT 7 episodes missing. It says there are 54 episodes because several of them are 2-parters, and have beem combined into one. Once you do the math, all 61 episodes are here. Also, I just checked "Day of the Black Sun," and the episode reaches the credits; it plays perfectly fine with no content missing.

It appears all of the issues these reviewers are complaining about are fixed.

My only complaint is the thumbnail for the complete series shows "Book 1: Water" after you buy it, but this is a minor nitpick. This show is a masterpiece and easily my favorite animated show of all time.

A lot of people have said that episodes are missing but in a review that I saw before I purchased this the customer had said some episodes are combined. They are right there is no missing episodes and it’s worth getting. I would also like to add I just got done watching the episode the day of black sun and some people said it was cut short and it’s not. 😊

This was a great review until the fire nation attacked. But in all seriousness an amazing show for all ages. Every episode has a bit of everything, action, comedy, drama, and adventure. This show can teach us a few things, but mostly that if you own a vegetable cart it’s going to be destroyed lol

I signed up for Apple TV+ just to watch this show. I didn’t sign up to buy it or to sign up for another free service that I have to cancel before I get charged. Change your advertising Apple. Your own Apple TV+ website said I could watch this. Accurate, but not nice.

Just finished watching the series for the first time (I kinda missed them when they aired originally). It’s great, fun, and well written. Guess I’m off to watch the Legend of Korra next.

Some reviews mention missing episodes or chunks of some episodes missing, but I haven’t run into that issue. It lists 54 videos but that’s because some of these are back-to-back episodes that got combined into one video; there are still 61 chapters in total. I did get an issue where it stopped streaming about four minutes before the end of the very last episode, but then I scrolled back a few seconds and it played through that point without issue.

However, one thing to note is that this Complete Series does NOT include extras. If you want the extras I think you have to purchase the seasons that are labeled as including extras, one at a time.

It stops at season 3 episode 9 ☹️

I watched it when it first came out, and now I have it on DVD. It’s characters are lovable, it’s stories are intriguing, it’s animation is absolutely gorgeous. It’s in my opinion the best series Nickelodeon ever made.

I hate what the avatar company did to the tv show because this is not the original avatar series where it starts of with water earth fire and air then the original copy says long time ago the fire nation attacked and I’m just disappointed of how updated of a version it is when I was growing up the first time it came out I watched it and I’m very disappointed of how the outcome came to be a newer version this is a first and hope it’s the last time that this happeneds.

Why did I pay 60 mutha-f$@@n dollars to not have that episode in the entire collection I just bought.... Why am I going to spend any more money for an episode that should be included in this collection?!

7 chapters are missing, I really like this series so I bought it and itunes does nothing for fix it

i started watching it when it started airing and at that time i think i was 8 or something. ten years later .. i STILL watch it

My kids and I have watched the series from start to finish maybe 10 times now. We absolutely love this series and wish they made season 4 to close out the cliffhanger of Zuko’s mom and what happened next. Love the storyline and everything about it.

I’m reading the reviews and it seems that they have fixed the problem with the episodes. It all played perfectly. And brought back some old childhood memories. 😁

First started watching this show when I was six and fondly remember watching the series finale with my family in our living room. Over a decade later and I still find myself returning to the show periodically, and its quality is not the same as it first impressed on me; it's even better. Avatar is not only one of if not the single greatest work of televison programming, but a testamanet to the undying grandeur of classic mythology and battles between light and dark. The show is entertaining, masterfully animated, never lacking in heart, and so exquisitely well written that it has driven me to tears in absolute awe of its beauty more than once. I cannot praise this show enough to do its quality justice; it is a genuine masterpiece.

First let me say I love the show and very happy to have all the episodes available on iTunes download. Yes all the episodes are included none are missing.

Problem with the show however is how they titled the episodes on iTunes. They made it confusing when looking for a specific episode. For example Season 2 episode 12 “The Serpent’s Pass” & episode 13 “The Drill” are combined into one episode and they changed the name to “The Secret of the Fire nation” (episode 32). However their is no way of knowing this by just looking at the title. Why did they change the name? They could have just added both names to the title like they did with “The Guru/The Crossroad of Destiny“ (episode 38). In addition the final episodes “Sozin’s Comet Part 1” is titled just Part 1 even though it includes part 1,2,3 & 4.

This really Makes no sense since the titles are inconsistent throughout the entire series on iTunes. Some episodes are not combined that are listed as Part 1 and Part 2 (example episodes 1 and 2). other titles are combined but “not” included in the title (example episode 32). If that wasn’t confusing enough they also combine some episodes and do included both names in the titles (example 38). Very incoherent titling at best and should be updated to included the names of all episodes that are combined without coming up with new names for episodes they spliced together.

With that said I would suggest buying the show if you are a fan as I am. The quality of the show is great and can’t wait to share with my son as he gets older. But for goodness sake update the names of the episodes so they make sense.

What can I say? There’s nothing wrong with a good show about people bending the elements. And I love the romance in the show as well. Avatar the last Airbender gives a little bit of everything to the watcher

One of the best, if not the best series I’ve ever seen.

The animation doesn’t benefit too much from resolutions higher than 720p, but at the SD (420p I think) version looks great. Maybe if they remaster the image quality will necessitate higher res, but the story and characters are what I’m all about (!)

Gripes:

The episode thumbnails show images that aren’t always from that episode which actually messes me up.

The product itself gets 4/5 stars, but the show gets quadrillion/5

Does anyone know if the episodes that were cut off where ever fixed ? I like the price $29.99 for the complete series but I don’t wanna buy it if it’s missing pieces of episodes. Please let me know. I loved the series as a child and would to add it to my digital collection, but I don’t know anywhere else but iTunes that has the complete series for this price.

I am so glad to own the complete series. I haven’t seen the show since I was a kid and I am surprised how impactful it is even today. Each episode is a well crafted masterpiece with powerful messages behind them, bring me to tears at some points. Avatar: The Last Airbender is truly one of the greatest stories ever told.

Amazing most comedic and action packed stories ever!

First off, I love AVATAR!!! I grew up watching this show and loved everything about this series from the characters, story line, to the plot twists, animals, and MUSIC!!!! It was the ultimate in cartoon action!! just recently purchased and downloaded the complete series on my Mac and after trying to play the episodes I am unable to see them. The picture quality looks like the screen is cut in two sections, the frame is sideways almost like a trapezoid with a black strip of empty space between the two screens playing at the same time. I contacted Apple Support/ Itunes Support/ Billing, all the while I was working with an Apple supervisor regarding the content. Itunes gave me a refund twice and we tried repurchasing the series twice. Alas, after almost 3 hrs of lots of trouble shooting, screen sharing, and viewing on differtent devices (we tried to view them on both an Iphone and Ipad) they found that the issues I'm experiening are not from the hardware or devices (Mac Book Pro running with the most updated version 10.13.6, iPad running most up to date version 11.4.1, and iPhone running most up to date version 11.4.1) I'm using to view the content, but from the actual content from Nickelodeon. They informed me that Apple is not able to fix such issues since they are not directly responsible for managing the content that is put up on iTunes. They advised I contact Nickelodeon directly and make them aware of this serious issue. I'm quite disheartened I was not able to watch this incredible series and frankly surprised Apple has no direct way to escalte such issues or make the developer/originating company aware of such glitches internally. I am currently in the process of making Nickelodeon aware of this issue and will update this review with any further developments. In the meantime, anyone looking to purchase this current content version should be very careful!!

There are glitches within the series and the most terrible one is in the 3rd season, episode 48 Day of the Black Sun episode. It is missing the ending of the episode and it cuts off at quite a pivotal part. The episode is. It 48 minutes, it is 38. It’s missing a whole 10 minutes of the episode. So what happened? Apple please fix this!

I'm not sure how to report an issue but Day of Black sun is cut off by a few, rather pivotal, minutes. The episode is listed at 47 mins but the episode is only downloading 38.

Great show though all around

To start, this show is by far my favorite show ever! However, this review isn't about how great it is. This is for my fellow fans wondering about the quality of this purchase. I bought this because it's cheaper than buying each season separately (I own a SD physical copy of this show, too).

First, I was wondering how the HD compared to the SD. Honestly I think the HD is only slightly clearer in picture than the SD version, but not enough to really impress me. So, it's not a waste of money if you buy the SD version. It'll save you $10.

Second, AND THIS IS MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT, the episodes can get a bit glitchy (could just be my internet connection), BUT the last episode of Book 1: Water has 2 full minutes cut off from the episode. The description says it's 26 minutes long, but I counted the minutes and it only went to 24. Not to mention, parts of scenes were included in the cut off. This disappointes me greatly. I made sure my internet connection was strong and I even restarted iTunes. I know it's a glitch in the purchase. If this gets read by Apple maintence or whoever can help, I would appreciate some trouble shooting solutions; otherwise, be forewarned that this may happen to you if you make this purchase. **To be clear, this is from Book 1 alone. I still have yet to watch the other two series for any glitches.

Great story. Great character's. Great emotions.

This show is ethereal. It is one of the greatest animated shows of all time. Absolutely legendary and breathtaking. Superior story telling, intricate development, beautiful world bending, precise art, and iconic moments in television media.

I love the show and the quality is great, but I am missing a few episodes on my iPad: The Winter Solstice parts 1 and 2, the Waterbending Scroll, the Painted Lady, the Beach, the Runaway, and the Boiling Rock. Slight issue, hope it can be fixed soon!

Man, I never can get over this animated series with how it tells so much when compared to reality. It’s far more than a kids show alone. I love hoe even the bad guys are seen in the end with what brings them to these conclusions of war and how that was the wrong idea. This show brought me to see how trading anger blasts like when I a person shouts that shouting back will never work verses cooling it. I had to see the entire collection to understand the story. It’s practically better than even Harry Potter.

I started this show with deep depression in my teenage years while I was sad and angry all the time as I was misunderstood, but when I saw this I had a new and much more different experience. I love it!

I truly do believe this show is the greatest animated show ever. It's fun for the whole family and doesn't talk down to it's audience. I fell in love with this show as a kid and still love it. (Just thinking of the end of the Library episode is enough to make me tear up) I would give this 6 stars if I could.
