This series is absolutely phenomenal all-around. Captivating performances by the entire cast and a brilliant plot. I cannot wait for season 2!!!

I've read the book and enjoyed it thoroughly. When I heard that a TV series will be adapting the book, I thought I knew what to expect. I was wrong - even though I knew certain things would happen, my jaw dropped on how those moment occurred. It was SOOOOO good. I'm not a Reese Witherspoon fan, but her acting on this show is LIT! She was amazing! The other actresses were just as a good as well.

This show was amazing. I love how all the girls came together. Season 2 I’m waiting for you!

I loved the book, but this is one of those rare times I think the movie version was better. Excellent acting by all the cast, especially NK, she was completely believable in her reactions and denials. She deserved that Emmy. I didn't want it to end, and will definitely watch again, multiple times.

OY. A lot going on and due to the cast, I was hook, line, & sinker...reeled into this series.

I recommend this series for families.

Wow. I was frustrated in the beginning having been on the edge of my seat. What an amazing ending, cast, and overall story line.

Just as the book is a page turner the show causes one to binge watch from the first episode to the last.

Very powerful acting and great characterisation. Nicole Kidman is a revelation in it. I didnt think I woud be interested in a series that revolves around three mothers and their five year olds but it is riveting and tears open how complicated marriages and relationships cn become and how people can destroy each other even if they love each other. The actor playing Nicole Kidmans husband is exceptional.

I found the acting sub-par and a bit cold. The scenery was undoubtedly beautiful...read the book, much better!

Needed a new show to watch on the plane and decided I'd give Little Big Lies a shot. I only bought one episode and that was a mistake. After the first episode I was left on the plane wanting more! As soon as I landed, I bought the rest of the season and finished the whole series. Great storyline and even greater actresses. A must see!

I absolutely fell in love with this show in the first five minutes. I have not (yet) read the book, but I was hooked on this series within a by short time thanks to the stellar cast and directing, and the gripping (if eventually predictable) story. Will watch this again if only to see these amazing ladies in action yet again.

This was not the kind of story I usually watch. But I needed to swing off track from Sense8 ... Superb acting. Actresses who made you dislike them from one episode and then hurt for them in the next. I've seen reviews ranting about "MORE!" ... But honestly, Big Little Lies (No Spoilers Here) ended perfectly. Never ruin it with a burn out. I am so pleased

I'm telling everyone I know to watch this show !!

Having lived in Monterey, CA I was initially only curious about the show. After the first episode I was beyond hooked. While I know not all scenes were shot on the Penninusla, it was fun to see scenes with some of the places I knew. The writing is top-notch, creative and not at all predictable. The casting was a perfect fit and Nichole Kidman went beyond what I'd expect her to do. SPOILER - there clearly has to be a second season. With the click of the cigarette lighter of "someone" watching everyone on the beach it's clear the police detective is not satisified with everyone's statement and has an agenda of his own. In my mind this sets the stage for a second season that could very well surpass the first. HERE'S HOPING!
