Can we please get the original versions that have not been zoomed and cropped? Nearly half the image is missing from the top and bottom of these versions.

At some point someone decided to change the 4x3 aspect ratio to 16x9 to revitalize these releases. That was a mistake. Everything is zoomed in to fit the 16x9 format making sight gags get cut off, or worse, not even shown in the frame. It all smacks of a poorly thought-out idea hastily done. This show deserves better.

Those who grew up in the early seasons know... these are the best! Monorail, Homer the Heretic, Kamp Krusty. Great storylines and overall writing. Back in the days when Conan was a writer - these are true gems.

These have been cropped to fit a 16:9 ratio. Do it right and release them in the original 4:3 or don't bother at all.

Hilarious season. Found myself laughing on a minutely basis. Has some of my favorite episodes: the legendary “Mr. Plow”, “The Simpsons Clip Show” where we look back on the last 4 seasons and “Krusty Gets Kancelled” where BART and Lisa Have to help Krusty get back on his feet. Great season, better producers, artists and creators.👍👏

Cons: This took WAY too long to release on iTunes, and the 16:9 ratio is both unnecessary and distracting.

Pros: Monorail! Monorail! Monorail!

In my opinion seasons 4-7 are the best 4 seasons of this show. My favorite Simpsons episode of all time is Marge vs. The Monorail, written by the famous Conan O'Brien. In fact that is my favorite episode of ANY television show of all time.

Please please please allow the original aspect ratio. This pan and scan is awful and really takes away from the show.

Glad to finally see the complete Simpsons on itunes. The hd is actually very nice! But why is it zoomed in to 16:9!? It's just zoomed in so the picture is cut off! Just give us the original 4:3 you can still do hd even! Just add in black bars on sides.

This is a great season, but why post the rest of the seasons in the cruddy 16x9 versions from FXX, glad I bought the DVDs. The only way to experience these episodes fully. I also hate how u guys replaced the original 4x3 season 1 episodes I bought in December, with these unpleasing to the eye 16x9 crops, please give me the versions I bought.

Woohoo! Hilarious, irreverent, absolutely classic. The series hits it's stride big time in this season. So many classics in season 4: "Homer the Heritic", " Mr. Plow", "Duffless", "Marge vs the Monorail"... End-to-end excellence. You'll love this more than Homer loves a donut with pink frosting and sprinkles.
