After Clark's Kryptonian father (voice of Terence Stamp - "Superman II") grants him temporary superpowers, Jonathan engages Clark in a destructive battle atop the LuthorCorp building. Jonathan is determined to counteract the mind-altering red Kryptonite ring and bring Clark home. Meanwhile, Lex returns from a deserted island and tries to figure out whether it was Lionel or Helen (recurring guest star Emmanuelle Vaugier) who arranged his plane crash.
