When TGI Fridays first opened in 1965 there was no bar like it, it just didn’t exist. It was a place where everyone was welcome and soon became one of the world’s biggest restaurant chains, known as the place to go for that Friday feeling. But along with a lot of its competitors in the casual dining industry, TGI’s has fallen on hard times. 60,000 TGI’s employees are counting on CEO, Ray Blanchette to re-energise the brand. Now Ray is going undercover to find out if the changes he’s making to put Fridays back on top are firing up sales or burning out his staff.
