EVERY. SHOW. Is about Bitcoin. And maybe I am missing out by not investing and I should be listening to the brainwashing. But I really thought when I subscribed that I was getting some interesting finance insight about billionaires. When it comes on after other shows, I cannot skip fast enough. Something about the format makes my skin crawl. It’s so one sided and blech.

Preston is my bitcoin dad. My real in life dad refuses to accept bitcoin for its true potential. Always refreshing to listen to bitcoin dad expanding my knowledge and curiosity on the bitcoin topic! Keep up the unbelievable work. You are going to change the way zoomers view money.

Used to be really insightful and delve into some great investment topics. Unfortunately, almost every episode anymore expands upon the greatness of Bitcoin and little else, making me wonder why they don’t change the name of the podcast to “We love Bitcoin and let us tell you why!”. Bummer that they’ve veered from what people originally enjoyed about the podcast.

Their coverage of Berkshire Hathaways annual meetings is excellent.

Three observations about Bitcoin podcast.

1. Bitcoin moves so quickly in price that the delay between the time the podcast is recorded and aired makes some of the content seem irrelevant. 2. Because of so many moving parts concerning Bitcoin, one wonders if some of these big players like Saylor and Pysh who are avid promoters of Bitcoin might change their views on it and not communicate it to the very people to whom they are recommending it. 3. The technical shows are very difficult to understand. As a matter of fact, I will admit that I understand less than 50% at times and there is no explanation about certain concepts.

I appreciate all the work you guys do. I’ve learned a lot. It used to be a really great podcast but since the bitcoin segment came in, there’s no reason for me to continue listening because i’m so entreched with value investing. I like the book reviews, analyzing amazing businesses and just plain old value investing. No matter how much i listen about how amazing bitcoin is, i just can’t bring myself to invest on it. I hope you guys can steer back to value investing. I still check from time to time if you guys have a segment about value investing.

Young investors can learn a lot about investing I hanging out and listening to these thoughtful, well researched topics and guests.I don’t understand why the bitcoin episodes aren’t their own show however. Seems like at once a week, they could both be their own subscription. I’m interested in bitcoin so I listen to those episodes but would rather they are not on the same feed. Can you consider bringing on someone, preferably from the academic community who might provide a contrarian view? For more balanced education? Thanks!

These two seem like two normal guys who want you to succeed. They have enriched my life so much and I anticipate each and every new podcast release. I am honestly grateful to have had them in my life over the past couple of years and sincerely appreciate them.

I really enjoy Preston, very down to earth and can talk with anyone and has helped me learn a lot about the financial world.

Nothing wrong with Bitcoin, but still a value investor. This podcast won’t stop it with the macro economics and Bitcoin. The same points about are made about Bitcoin constantly and repeatedly. Stig is all the brains here, Preston is just a Bitcoin salesman. Preston is to Bitcoin what Peter Schiff is to gold. For how much Preston has mentioned confirmation bias he has become a big victim of it. Stig please start a different podcast.

I love this podcast the most out of all 40 different financial/investing podcasts I listen to. Keep up the great work, you guys are awesome.

The balance between macroeconomics and more specific asset analysis is perfect and gives a great understanding of the current financial environment

When I found the podcast I immediately loved the critical thinking mixed with an appropriate amount of skepticism with every investment discussed or market occurrence. Now it’s all about Bitcoin and the failure of the modern financial system. Even if you love an investment theory you always have to temper it with a tasteful amount of skepticism. Preston has really driven me away from listening. No longer can I learn anything new; instead it’s all Bitcoin and making fun of all the idiots who don’t own it. Would love to get a more balanced lineup of topics back in the mix. Until then, I will listen to something else. Still great guys and wish them the best — just worn out.

I can't recommend this program highly enough to anyone interested in learning more about investing and macroeconomics. This is the first podcast I found in this arena, and it remains one of my absolute favorites to this day. Preston and Stig have great insights and amazing guests on this show all the time and I never miss an episode - check it out if you have not already!

I have listened to every TIP podcast, 311 is the best by far. After years of listening to podcasts this is my first ever written review. This episode is exactly why I listen to this podcast, please continue the great work. Rick

Stig & Preston do a great job assessing and outlining the current state of the economy, markets, and everything economy and finance related. Only comment I have and which is a pro for many is this is not an elementary level podcast and someone with no economics or finance background or experience will not be able to follow along the more complex topics discussed. For that I’d recommend their millennial investing podcast which is also great.

This is a really good podcast. Very informative and helpful. The guests are fantastic. The hosts are knowledgeable, ask great questions and spark great conversations. Thank you for taking the time to help people understand the world of investing!

all the guests these days just keep talking and talking but saying a whole lot of nothing... seems like they’re trying to sell you on whatever fund they’re running or something. Preston used to ask the hard questions. Now he just sits back and lets Stig ask only surface level stuff. Used to be good..

The podcast has unfortunately turned into a more and more obscure conspiracy theory podcast with Preston going off on bitcoin and inviting audience supporting more and more fringe ideas. Stig used to be able to reel Preston in and get back on topic and they seemed to realize they were loosing audience some episodes back and had a discussion on Prestons obsession but they are off their rails again and I sense Stig have thrown in the towel. Used to really like the show but unfortunately not worth the time anymore. Wish the guys luck and hope they get back to what build this.

Very educational and unbiased information!

Great show. However, the number of breaks and commercials is increasing and getting annoying. An ad break at the beginning is fine. 2 or 3 breaks of 2 or 3 minutes in a 40 minute podcast is getting excessive. Yes, I forward through them but c’mon guys.

Preston and Stig are wicked smart teachers who share valuable financial education from their own experiences and from studying the most successful investors.

This is one of the better podcasts out there-especially if someone wants an honest opinion of the reality of financial markets/assets. I think both hosts explore interesting topics and speak objectively about markets rather than being a cheerleader like one would find on CNBC or other hack-filled media outlets. I wish there was less pumping of their products but they have to pay the bills so I think it’s a decent trade-off being that the podcast is free.

This podcast should be listened to with the attitude of browsing a used car lot. There might be something worth noting from time to time. But be weary of what the salesman tries to sell you. This podcast is set up to sell their stuffs and ads. These guys are not value investors. At this point, they are not even investors. They are speculators. They are preaching things way outside their circle of competence. Buffett says he never base his investment on macro predictions. Yet, these guys think they can. The only thing they might really be good at, is to sell ads off the listeners.

I cannot over emphasize that how much i love your show. I am a tech geek who was financially illiterate and its because of your show i can say that i ‘ve come a long way. I hear some of your podcast multiple times and even sometimes wait for weekend to hear new release. I’ll really appreciate if you can kind of touch on various tools that investor can use to understand the business keeping 4 rules of warren buffet in mind.

This podcast was fantastic the first 100 episodes or so. I think they have really lost their way from the original premise of the podcast. They have gotten away from studying billionaires and focusing on value investing to focusing on a macro speculative investment environment. I can’t even remember the last book review they did. Preston has gone off the rails on Bitcoin and tries desperately to sell the audience on Bitcoin investing.

Awesome guest. Very clear teacher of complex ideas. Bring her back.

Used to love show, great when they used to review books and successful people. Now just honk bitcoin and watered down views on economic conditions.

Try not to disagree on tweeter or have a discussion with your own point of view, Pysh quick to block. Thin skinned not good for investing world.

This dynamic duo puts on the best podcast in the investing world. I love the mix of value investing, stock picks, macro themes, and the very important world of bitcoin.

I thoroughly enjoyed this show for a number of years. Unfortunately, their view points have become much more alarmist, and their arguments are increasingly flawed.

I might listen when they have interesting guests, but I don’t care much for the “Current Market Conditions” episodes. They have taken on a doomsday feel, and Preston, in particular, has been more condescending in his tone.

I love that Preston takes a super abstract approach to how he views the macroeconomic landscape and certain investment vehicles that one could use to take advantage of said environment. Some people don’t like this, and to them I say good luck hitting that home run that sets the great apart from the average. Stig, you’re awesome too. You have a more traditional approach (or you play that role because you know someone has to...) and you compliment each other well. Keep up the great work, I’ve listened to all 300 episodes and couldn’t thank you guys enough for the completely free education tool.
