I can’t say it’s surprising that you don’t “tip out”—par for the course. 🕯
I’m with Natasha and I’m certainly “tip in” with her, rather than “out,” for obvious reasons…🕯

Moshe manages to make even the weirdest topic (hawking, anyone?) not only interesting, but hilarious! I like the eps featuring his better half Natasha Leggero best.

Learning and Laughing are the two best things in life and do not come together nearly enough. This was everything I wished for and I’m so glad I found it.
If you can forgive a few (a lot) of interruptions for the sake of punchlines then you will enjoy the hell out of this.
Moshe, you’re a gem. Thanks for bringing the 2 best things in life together.
5 Stars.

I wish there were more episodes each month, because I can’t get enough of this podcast! I’ve always enjoyed Moshe’s comedy, but this podcast has introduced me to subjects I haven’t thought about in depth before. Because there is comedy intertwined, it helps to keep the listener engaged with what the expert is talking about. I also love how Moshe asks for donations be given to whatever organization that’s affiliated with the topic he’s talking about.

I listened to the Disneyland episode. Just a bunch of unfunny comedians trying to get themselves over. Find another profession. The stories that were told were either total lies or conspiracies theories that I can’t even find on google. I’ve never given a podcast under 4 stars, this one suuuucks.

Love this podcast. But be better.

So many lovely attributes about this podcast. But you don’t get to capitalize off of being woke and then silence minority women. Your podcast is SO WHITE. I’m a dmv jewish girl so from one Jew to another grown. I love y’all but hire more diverse and moderate better cause it’s hurtful.

Moshe, don’t you dare stop doing this podcast or slow down! I discovered you on your BFF’s podcast, you made it weird with Pete Holmes, and have been smitten ever since. Thanks for challenging us, giving us brain food, introducing cool clever people, encouraging us to serve, and helping us make sense of this effed up world. My hat’s off to you, Moshe. Thanks! Congratulations – you’ve reached the heavyset, middle-aged, white woman demographic.

Moshe is one of the funniest comedians period, and his panels always have some phenomenal comedic talent on. It can be a little aggravating when they constantly interrupt the expert when he/she is trying to make an important point, but Moshe does his best to bring it back onto topic and let them finish eventually.

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you from an apartment on a hill. It is on this hill, where I first came across this little gem of a podcast. I was a younger man, then. I was yearning for something but I knew not what it was.
It was early evening, in the autumn of 2014. It was unsurprisingly quite cold, given the climate in which our hill exists. I needed to endeavor to the market, to purchase some provisions, but the cold kept me home. The cold, and of course, the unrelenting weight of existence. I fidgeted with my phone, praying for some kind of sign. Something that would relieve me of this weight. I refreshed my podcast subscriptions in desperation, but to no avail. There was nothing for me and nothing to accompany through the harsh autumnal winds when the time came to trudge to the Tree of Dollars. But then illumination struck my mind as I looked at those emptied subscriptions. I had been struck by inspiration, from which I decided to investigate the various podcast networks for new content! And my journey was fruitful, sir or madam. Oh, how it was fruitful. For it was this very "Hound Tall Discussion Series" which had just recently been released...
And what a release it was, all of the favorites: of course there was Moshe, and Pete Holmes, Beth Stelling, some author. Everyone was there! And we did venture to the market, and I got the bath tissue I required, but I think I also gained something much greater. A deep connection to a show which enlightens my soul and enriches my humors. This show, dearest reader. This show. So, listen, now, won't you?

Was excited about the Scientology pod but the host interrupted the guest so much with distasteful jokes. Scientology can be joked about but it's a serious subject about a scary cult. The podcast let the guest talk for a fourth or third of the podcast. Could have been better. Also they are screaming side comments into the microphones. Not interested.

Don't listen to Augie Rules, I've listened to All of them and I come back for multiple repeats. The guest knows they'll be interrupted repeatedly and they're laughing along with the comedians. Psychedelics, science stories of the week, and the case for ending civilization are gems. There's a reason it's called edutainment....

i wish this was wthat it claims to be .. an open minded discussion of politics/topics of interest ...sadly its not .. if you enjoy the whinning of the Hollywood Bubble Types wishing the election had gone thier way .. then this is for you .. there is a lot of talk about revolution but what they won't accept is the revolution happened on Nov, 8 and their side lost .... Moshe Kasher .. is very quick whittted and sharp ... but there is no balance or free exchange of ideas to be found here ...

Like Startalk for Philosophy

 –
ePalila
 –
2017-06-01
The Startalk model where you take an expert and put him on a panel full of comedians only really works if the expert has something interesting to say and the comedians have no idea what they're talking about. The Tall Hound conversations are informative, insightful, and ridiculously funny. I've embarrassed myself at the gym many a time laughing out loud uncontrollably. If you're looking for somewhere to start, I'd recommend the Electoral College episode.
It does suffer from the same problem as other panel discussion podcasts which is they talk over and interrupt the expert a lot when when (s)he's trying to explain something or make a point. The amount varies from episode to episode.
Overall, TH scratches the same itch as Startalk and Lovett or Leave It. It makes me think, it makes me laugh, that's all I need.

This is one of my top podcasts, the only drawback back for me is it's not consistent and there aren't episodes more often. I would love if it was at least bi-monthly. If you can, please try a bi-monthly time frame. You have amazing speakers with plenty of comedic banter. Get sponsors if you need to. Love it, thanks Moshe. Hope I sleeps your name correct. I'm to lazy to look and see if that's the proper spelling. Keep it up even if you don't up the episodes!

The concept is great and I normally adore Moshe. However he and his panelists consistently interrupt the guest speaker to the point that it's difficult to listen. Specifically, the entire Scientology episode was ruined where moshe and the male comedian yapped and shouted over
