From stretcha undies to eat a spider day, the Story Pirates have an entertaining show that my kids love. Reading the original story, acting out an adaptation with sound effects and then a short interview with the author. They even have challenges to encourage fans to submit their stories. A welcome alternative to listening to music on the radio. THANKS TO THE CAST & CREW!!!!!

The kids and I always have a laugh with these. They are waaaaaaaaaaay over the top, but in the best way. The interview with the kid authors afterwards is often the best part of the show.

What a great concept - taking kids' writings and creating radio stories from them. Additionally, I appreciate the respect given to each child author.

Such a great concept for a podcast! Stories written and submitted by kids and dramatized. Each episode also includes an interview with the author. Not only is it super fun for my four year old to listen to (she loves it!), but it also encourages her to be a creative storyteller.

My kids love, love, love Story Pirates. We play the podcasts daily for my 4- and 7-year-olds. It's engaging, entertaining, appropriate, and most importantly to me inspiring! They both regularly create their own stories now. We enjoy the author interviews as much as the stories because they help my kids realize that they, too, can be authors! Thank you, Story Pirates and Lee!
