Love the podcast

This is a fantastic podcast with a lot of relevant info for CRNA and anesthesia practice! It is really a shame you get those in the review section trying to cause division. I swear if the political physician anesthesiologists worked as hard on opening and increasing access to anesthesia clincal care for patients or insurance reimbursement as they do on insulting CRNAs and playing "gotcha" games every hospital in the country would be fully staffed and we would be getting an increase in reimbursement from medicare. Instead the ASA stays focused right where the commercial insurance wants them focused on anything besides helping patient care. Sad look.

Got accepted into CRNA school my first try!

Dr. Temmermand and Sachi provide an invaluable resource to studying for my CRNA interview. Along with their pharmacology course, I was able to use the information from this podcast to synthesize and understand interventions at the bedside. This ultimately allowed me to discuss pathophysiology and anticipated interventions during my interview. I was granted acceptance my first round of applications! I plan to continue to use their resources to supplement my learning as a nurse anesthesia resident.

Amazing podcast channel!

I’m an RN who is currently in the process of applying to CRNA programs. Atomic Anesthesia’s content has helped me in more ways than one! Despite not needing to know all this information yet, the content has helped me immerse myself further in the world of anesthesia and has motivated me to accumulate more knowledge as a nurse. The understanding vasopressors episode specifically is what peaked my interest in the channel. The other content aimed at CRNAs and SRNAs is also helpful as I hope to be in that role one day! I’m so glad I found this channel!

If you’re like me…

As someone transitioning from a successful career in business, I’ve found the journey into nursing—and preparing for CRNA school—both exciting and challenging. Discovering the Atomic Anesthesia podcast/resources has been an absolute game-changer (especially if you need visuals, like me)!
This podcast doesn’t just share knowledge; it builds bridges between complex concepts and practical application. It’s clear, concise, and packed with insights that have helped me as I navigate the nursing world and prepare for the rigorous demands of CRNA school.
What stands out most is the level of detail and thoughtfulness the hosts bring to each episode. They make advanced topics approachable while offering invaluable tips for interviews, clinical practice, and career growth. Not to mention it’s catered to how much time you have, like longer episodes for car rides or shorter ones as you’re going from your car to your unit on a workday. Coming from a business background, I especially appreciate their ability to break down strategy and decision-making processes in a way that resonates with someone like me, used to thinking in terms of outcomes and planning.
If you’re serious about excelling in your nursing career, preparing for CRNA applications and interviews (like me), or looking for growth opportunities, this podcast is a must-listen. Thanks for the awesome content!
