I love Elyse Myers. She is so funny and I’ve been watching her on Insta and now I get to listen to her pod!!! I’m so excited and can’t wait to go through them all! She’s so wonderfully authentic and lets herself just be who she is. It’s quite inspiring. I love her awkward stories, they are callbacks to all of my own awkward moments. It’s just lovely.

I would listen to your stories all day. You’re hilarious. I just don’t like the guest format as much. Guests shows are hit & miss to me bc if I don’t like the guest, I don’t enjoy the episode. I wish this was more of a solo podcast. I think you can carry it. I hope you move to just storytelling one day. Cheering you on

She is funny and entertaining, but what I truly love about her and her content is her ability to be humbling and open about her internal struggles. Seriously, I laughed, and I cried. I won’t get into the specifics. I just randomly found Elise on TikTok and thought I’d check out her podcast. Two episodes in and I’m hooked. I laughed. I cried. My heart is happy.

After listening to tons of True Crime podcasts for a long time, I decided I needed to find some uplifting shows to subscribe to. I found a few, but when I saw my favorite Instagram creator had one, I jumped on it faster than you could believe! The mix of comedy and genuine compassion from Elyse is enchanting and I look forward to Wednesdays every week! Thanks Elyse! Keep it up!

I really love seeing all the videos on instagram. Now that I discovered the podcasts, I’m trying to catch up on all of them.. . So many times I laugh with Elyse as she tells her stories. . Her knack for telling stories is what makes her videos. she’s a ray of sunshine in her unique special way. . As someone with a panic disorder /generalized anxiety,hearing Elyse sharing her stories in such a genuine and heartfelt way is amazing. It’s refreshing and a breathe of fresh air for someone to be so open and honest. It normalizes things for the people that battle with mental health issues.

I liked the Julia interview aside from the asides. Idk if this is a regular thing the host does but I don’t like it. It derails the whole flow of the interview. I’m here for JLD not for random thoughts from the host. They’re itether funny or insightful. Just distracting.

My two favorite podcast these days are Elyse Myers’ “funny, cuz it’s true,” and Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ “wiser than me.” Interesting to realize that these are two women at such different places on the spectrum of their careers — Elyse a young woman just getting started, Julia well into an accomplished and rewarded career — yet both are humbly, vulnerably, and truthfully exploring their questions and learning from people with experiences and insights to help them learn. And I learn, too! Different as these two women are, they are kindred souls, and I listen to each of their podcasts feeling like I’m lucky to be making a dear new friend.

I love how authentic and raw this podcast is. Elyse literally presses pause mid interview to tell us what she was really thinking at that moment in time. It’s beautiful.

Elyse is awesome and one of the most deserving human beings of this platform that I can possibly think of. The content is also fire. She makes me proud to be a fellow millennial and I’m a forever fan now. Truly blessed to have stumbled upon this podcast and would recommend 10/10 any day, any time. Listen now! Do it. 😊

This is immediately my new favorite podcast. I intentionally switched from Spotify to follow here on Apple as well. (Double follow, Double algorithm, right?) I am so glad I discovered Elyse. I too am a neurodivergent human who has struggled to find company on my wild ride through brain chemistry in all its glory. She is so honest and her willingness to be vulnerable on the toxic minefield of peer-generated content…media…whatever the right term for social media that is also visual and audio media…doesn’t matter. This is a must-subscribe show. This is self care.

I found Elyse on instagram about a year ago and love love l or her account. I started listening to the podcast and completely binged the entire series while on the drive to and from picking my kids up from school (when the kids are dropped off or not picked up yet…). Such a good podcast and so easy to listen to. Well done!

I first saw Elyse on Instagram and knew I had to check out her podcast. I listen to Funny Cuz It’s True while working and it makes me laugh out loud more than anything I’ve ever listened to. My favorite part is the intro with the “That’s a great question, I’m so glad you asked…”. I enjoy the interviews with the guests too, but the intro always is just so relatable.

Also, I absolutely love the pauses where Elyse breaks in to have a secondary thought on something she and the guest talked about. It sounds exactly like she went back to listen to the interview and was like “Ohhhhh…..” and just has to insert some very important (sometimes funny, sometimes inspiring) nugget of truth.

I have been a fan of Elyse from TikTok for ages. I adore seeing Elyse grow and come into her own professionally. She is so real. Her interviews with Rainn Wilson and Julia-Louis Dreyfus were absolutely delightful.

I caught you originally on the TikTok and Instagram videos. Once you start watching, you just cannot stop. You make me laugh with your stories. I also appreciate how real you are in your stories. Sharing your pain, your love, and your appreciation of people.

I went back to work a few months ago and all of a sudden have alone time in the car. What else to do but listen to Elyse Myers’s podcast! I enjoy it so much. I laugh out loud multiple times during each episode and smile pretty much the rest of the time. I appreciate how much Elyse shares with her audience. She is so open and real. My drives are so enjoyable. The longer the solo drive the better. More time to listen to Funny Cuz It’s True!

I totally love Elyse!! She is so funny and so real it’s completely refreshing. Elyse just has a way of reminding us we are all just trying to make it day to day without embarrassing ourselves to the point of never leaving our houses again! The constant monologue I have running in my head is now an “Elyse style” voice and I love her for it. I’m not sure where she lives but I need to find out so I can causally run into her at the local grocery store and make her be friends with me. I decided to download this podcast to have a comedic break in between listening to true crime. I follow Elyse on tiktok and really enjoyed her content so I was expecting to enjoy her podcast. What I was not expecting was it to also contain plenty of serious topics, advice, and really humanizing all the people we call celebrities. As soon as I listened to the first episode it became one of my favorite podcasts (second to crime junkies😉). Elyse thank you SO much for stepping outside your comfort zone and starting a podcast. It truly is amazing!

I resonate with “Doing things scared.” But it’s so encouraging to see someone as successful as Elyse do the things she loves even though she is scared! I live the unedited clips she throws in explaining what she was thinking as she was saying what she was saying to her interviewees. So raw and real. And funny too! 🤍 can’t wait to listen to more!
