As soon as I saw the name Dan Taberski, I immediately downloaded the available episodes. Dan creates some of the best podcasts out there and this one is no exception. Sure, only two episodes are available as of this writing, but I'm already hooked!

I really like this podcast. I have so many questions about what this war has done to the entire human race. I’m learning. The longest and forever war... for everyone involved. I remain supportive of our entire military and I’m so glad you found guys that are willing to share their stories.

I try to understand the effects of violence on people who participated in wars willingly or unwillingly. This podcast reveals nakedly the emotional effects on human psyche. In this case, on Navy seals personnel. Navy Seal is a premier force in the US Navy. They are trained to kill, we hear about the bravery of their missions on tv but what we don’t hear when the killing that they have done bring such a heavy load on them that when they can’t offload they commit suicide, just end the pain. It puzzles me how people who send these young guys to kill people in other countries don’t feel the pain. Are they even human?
