Ben and Mel are a married couple that use games like Fog of Love and Star-Crossed as a framework to improvise intriguing stories about relationships of all kinds, traditional and non-traditional alike.
Ben and Mel also pull from their real life experiences of dating, marriage, divorce, and remarriage as well as their people-centered occupations of a priest and a principal to answer listener’s relationship questions in the advice portion of the show.
By not taking themselves too seriously, Ben and Mel’s chemistry shines through and gives the show its distinct authentically playful tone.
If you enjoy audio drama, comedy, advice, or RPG actual play podcasts this one is worth your time! A great place to jump in is Season 2 where all the character’s stories are set in a fictional mysterious town in Maine.

There are three things I love: Couples who game together. 2 Player RPGs. And Podcasts! This one checks off all of the boxes and is amazing while doing it! It's hard not to root for one of them, but Mel is CLEARLY my favorite @TeamMel

So, this is one of those podcasts that makes me sick to not be in a relationship right now and, especially, with someone who shares a crazy passion for role play games. Ben and Mel have amazing chemistry and I wanna listen to more of their collective and creative thoughts for character development and story line. They are hilarious and fun to listen to!

Mel and Ben are a married couple who play Fog of Love, Star-Crossed, and other romance games and their chemistry shows! They also have great interviews and make a real effort to be inclusive with their characters but more importantly with their advice and their guests. Pod of Looovvvveee has quickly become one of my favorite things to listen to!
Honestly I would have given them six or seven stars, easy, but sadly Ben seems to hate fun. ;P Please send me my goblin gold, and an autograph from Jim ClassHyphenJunglesmith.

I LOVE Fog of Love, so when I found out that there was an actual-play podcast focused on the game, I had to check it out. Ben & Mel are great hosts and role-players. Their games make for great listening, and the classic comedy dynamic of Mel's oddball "funny man" to Ben's perpetually exasperated "straight man" (problematic terms all around) bring life to the intros, outros, and advice sections.

Pod of Love is wonderfully positive, wholesome and terribly cute. Ben and Mel are delightful hosts who always make me smile every episode--they are excellent hosts and roleplayers, and their chemistry is apparent and heartwarming every episode. They play one-on-one roleplaying games of romance and relationships, primarily the board game Fog of Love with a heavy roleplay emphasis--each arc is unique, fun and engaging. They also offer consistently thoughtful, kind relationship advice to any listeners who write in. If you need a bright, lighthearted spot in your AP schedule, this will do the trick!

An entertaining couple answer questions about love, sex, marriage (basically everything about romance and relationships) while also exploring these topics by playing the game Fog of Love. They tell stories of different potential partners, and what they learn each time they play. They've also been playing a successfully kickstarted game called Starcrossed, which also explores relationships that would love to be together, but also probably shouldn't be.
The way they handle their actual plays, interviews, and share relationship advice is bound to entertain and explore anyone's thoughts about romance and relationships with others. And with an open inbox, they regularly encourage people to reach out in a welcoming manner, including more marginalized groups such as people from the LGBT+ community (with the help and addition of guest stars).
If you're a romantic, love games that explore romance, or are seeking advice for the heart, this is a podcast that is worth giving a chance.
[And if you ask me, check out their Refugee's of Esmerelda Crossover Episode, it doesn't include both of the beautiful couple buuuut is an incredible story between a Princess and a God. It's one of my favorites!]
