This is an amazing podcast! Almost all the negative reviews of this podcast mention the pauses and slow speaking of the hosts. I was actually drawn to this podcast because of the slow and methodical delivery. I also think it's important to remember what it is we're talking about with these episodes. Murder and other violent, horrific crimes. I've starting more than just a couple other podcasts and their peppy, fast-paced speech when talking about a violent crime honestly made me a little sick to my stomach. It's a serious subject and it deserves serious delivery. All in all- great GREAT podcast. Will recommend to all my other true crime lovers!!

Love to listen to this podcast. Mike and Gibby's rapport is genuine and they have good voices for radio! I've listened to many true crime podcasts but this is definitely my favorite.

I'm surprised not everyone has given them 5 stars! I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts, including True Crime Garage and Sword & Scale, and this one is my favorite! Mike and Gibby tell all the facts and make it interesting and even add some light-heartedness here and there while still being very respectful and honoring the victims. I love listening to you both talk so keep up the good work!

I listen to a few different true Crime podcasts and some are really good and interesting and others are kind of dull and boring. After listening to a bunch of episodes from TCAT, they have quickly become one of my favorite podcasts and binge on the many interesting episodes they present. The hosts do a great job presenting the cases and are well informed in each episode. I appreciate the content this podcast produces...

I am working a job that allows one headphone in one ear.I did not want monophonic music and I am a first time iphone owner. I tried audiobooks but it prove too expensive. I ad never listened to a podcast so I took a month and skipped around. I kept coming back to you guy's. Your show is great. Keep up the great work.

I can't figure out why it's so hard to find a good crime-related podcast, but after listening to several, I came across this one. I like the host, but... I looked up the first couple of criminals on Wikipedia and could basically follow along with the entire page almost word for word as I'm listening because it's being paraphrased by the host. It could just be a coincidence but I was kind of disappointed. I just wish I could find a podcast where the host did super in-depth research with more of a natural narration instead of sounding script-like.

Audio fantastic no cracks pops or low volume, the back and forth discussion between the host are perfectly timed no cutting in or interuptions. This review was done after listening to the Isreal Keyes eps a case that not many true crime podcaster has taken on yet. Well done and I will be subscribing and listening to your other eps you have produced.

I enjoy this podcast immensely. At first I didn't like the lack of script, but the more I listen (I start from the first episode and work my way to current one), the more I enjoy the back and forth between the two.

They're very informative, there's some levity (even with the subject matter involved), and I would definitely recommend to those die-hard true crime fans.

One of the few crime podcasts that really keeps me engaged

When I started listening to them I wasn't sure if I was going to completely like it or hate it but I've completely fallen in love with this podcast. Right up there with Gen Why and Thinking Sideways as an all time favorite. Mike is amazing but Mike and Gibby together really hit it out of the park. Gibby with his Gibbyisms and Mike just eggs him on. Excellent to listen to and the fact that it's paired with TCAT Unsolved makes a little over 2 hours of your week a solid win. Keep up the great work.

Good true crime podcast with many interesting stories

I have never listened to or subscribed to a podcast. I heard someone from work talking about this one, so I decided to give it a listen. I'm hooked! I love how detailed the get, it's like listening to a true crime novel. Highly recommend!!

I have been listening to this for the last week at work, enjoying every minute. I found it randomly and saw that they covered the Herb Baumeister case, a case I have been interested in for many years. I have never been able to find a podcast that covered it and they did a great job. From then on out, I've been hooked.

I love listening to true crime podcasts. However, they are not all created equally.

This podcast is informative and entertaining. There isn't a boatload of cursing or tangents like other shows. I really enjoy listening to these gentlemen. I'm no prude but, some podcasts use way too much cursing and the tangents.... GEEEEEZUS!!

I am from Wichita and remeber when VIcki Wegerle was killed(God rest her soul). The BTK info was very accurate and well researched. The best podcast episode on him I've heard. I appreciate that. What I like about their podcast is it doesn't seem super scripted and robotic. I love how the shows are over an hour. Their voices are unique and they make me laugh at times. I usually repeat the podcasts because it helps put me to sleep since their voices aren't chaotic to listen too. They don't keep out the gore for us hardcore listeners 😉 Also they voice respect for victims and police.💯 Thank you!👌

I love the two hosts as they're really humorous, which can lighten the subject matter. Many of their cases are fascinating, and their research is thorough. Love them!

This is a easy listening podcast. The conversation is upbeat, crimes are delved into pretty thoroughly, and the banter is friendly! The topics are dark, but this is not freaky to listen to alone. Great job, guys!

If you've searched through the true crime podcast category, I'm sure you've seen many choices to chose from. True Crime All the Time is one of the newer podcasts but one that deserves a listen. The duo who host the cast interact well with each other and the material covered is well presented. It's obvious that there is a good bit of effort put towards the research because there are details provided that I've been unfamiliar with. Considering how many true crime podcasts I listen too, that's not an easy feat. I recommend this podcast for people who like to hear the details of the case that you may not have previously known or if you appreciate a duo who presents well.

I'm no stranger to true crime, but I really enjoy the tone of Mike's spin on these deadly stories. Gibby is also a great addition to this podcast. They don't take themselves too seriously but still aren't afraid to get down and dirty with their story telling. Great job guys!

This podcast is quickly becoming a favorite. There are obvious little things that need to be worked on but the potential is such that I had to give the 5 stars. Can't wait to hear more!

Pretty good pod as it is and each episode they seem to be getting their feet more and more under them. It's another Mike in true crime but probably the first Gibby! This one feels like a marriage of Sword and Scale with The Generation Why pod. That's not take away from their own uniqueness but just to give you a feel for it.

It's really 4 stars but it's such a great start and I want to encourage the host(s). Keep it going!

The subject matter is great, you can tell the narrators do their homework and have researched the crime.

The problem is that one of the narrators is a "slow talker" so every sentence is extremely drawn out, I find myself screaming "spit it out already!" Which is annoying. So many long silences and pauses that make the entire flow of the story suffer. Maybe it would be better to have a more defined script that provides better direction?

I'm going to continue to listen with hopes that the flow will improve and narrators will get better with time.

I have really enjoyed this podcast so far. The cases they discuss are interesting and it's clear that they do thorough research. The audio quality is high which is good for a new podcast. One thing that needs work is that there are awkward pauses at times that makes the story sound a little disjointed. Working off of a script or outline might be helpful. Overall I would recommend this for any true crime fans.

Wow! I love this podcast. I do listen to another one that I will not name (Sword and Scale 😜), but these guys are so much more enthusiastic and interested! They put an episode out every week, and don't act put upon to be doing their podcast the way the host of Sword and Scale does. Also, their stories are detailed and put together with context and timelines, which really matters in getting a feel for the stories. Thank you thank you!!!

Relatively new podcast but the host could benefit with experience. I'm listening to BTW Part 1. The host stops to clarify his phrasing of literally everything in every other statement. It's distracting. You don't have to explain yourself and actions every other line! Also I think the case needed to be better researched and planned before you create the episodes. You shouldn't say you don't know what the job title/description of BTK would entail, you could have easily Googled it. The host needs more confidence and I feel he will benefit from experience. Interesting stories I'll definitely keep listening.

I'm sorry, am I missing something here?! I do not understand how this podcast has so many positive reviews. It is AWFUL. I am not trying to be mean but the host is super boring and doesn't seem to do much research on any of the cases. It is so poorly produced too. It sounds like it's just him sitting in a room reading off the Wikipedia page for whatever crime he is talking about and has done very little outside research about each of the cases. Here and there he will play a sound clip related to the case but that's about it. Again, I'm not trying to be mean but was just so excited to listen to a new true crime podcast - especially after all the positive reviews on here - and I'm just so disappointed.

Great new crime pod, well researched, good chemistry between the hosts. A few audio kinks that could be worked out. Really into it so far though! I think I could have done without the comment on Melissa Huckaby's weight at the end of the episode though, the last thing I want to hear male podcasters talk about is a woman's (or a man's for that matter) weight issues . Otherwise keep up the great work!

This podcast can be fantastic. The cases they profile are interesting, both narrators have perfect voices for podcast and they have covered a wide range of topics. I do think it needs a bit more work to make it 5 stars. At times it becomes painfully clear that there doesn't seem to be any script with long pauses of complete silence that make me question if something's happened to my phone or back and forth between the two speakers that doesn't add anything to the story. I think this will get there in time but would love to see some attention payed to the narrative or ensuring that the back and forth is truly relevant to the podcast and moves things along.

I enjoy listening to these guys but research is inconsistent. On some stories, they seem to know every in and out, and on others...not so much. On a recent story I put the pod on pause for 5 minutes and found more out by googling than they were telling me, including stuff they were saying there was no information on. I also feel that I've heard some pretty definitive work of BTK so I'd have avoided such a known and covered story as new podcasters. Gimme weirdo stories I never heard before. That said, I'm listening and will keep listening!

I have been looking for a thorough great new True Crime podcast. It has been hard to find one that gives details & background information. Mike also does a wonderful job of letting you know that these acts are horrid. Some True Crime podcasts make light of the situations in a disrespectful way & seem to blame the female victims! This is none of those things & all the things we love about True Crime!

The first episode I checked out was Part 1 of Dennis Rader. The first 8 minutes was spent talking about nonsense that could've easily been said in one sentence. And I think that's my issue with this podcast--it's so slow. I have to listen to it at a faster speed because it just seems to lag and lacks the energy and personality of other similar podcasts. Not sure if I'll check it out in the future because...how the hell do you make BTK boring?
