I look forward to this every week. Makes my nyc subway rides less horrible.
Great guys, and a great podcast. The insights into songs and albums is fun to hear.
Podcast is hilarious. Love hearing Matt rib on the other guys, realizing how old they are with the trends they make fun of, and their band stories. Only critique: needs more Poppy.
Worth listening, will make you laugh out loud for real.
Awesome and fun listening. I listen to a new episode whenever and as soon as they release it. Good if you are a big HH fan and want to know stories and tidbits about individual songs and/or albums
PS. the spirit of Freddy Krueger lives in Light Sleeper
I love Hawthorne Heights even more now because of this podcast
Always fun to check out the podcast, hear what you guys are grumbling about this week.
I couldn't think of a review to write. So look at everyone else's and that is my review of this awesome podcast.
Absolutely the best podcast out there on iTunes!!! When there are so many rock stars in the industry, these guys are far from the ones that are stuck up with their nose in the air. Very informative, funny, sarcastic and the highlight of my Wednesday night.
Whether you are a long time Hawthorne fan or new, this podcast is sure to make you smile. These guys are hilarious. This is such a fun podcast and perfect for long car rides!
Great podcasts, definitely recommend!
I’m loving this podcast. The conversations and stories are interesting and hilarious. Since I’ve been a Hawthorne Heights fan for about eight years it definitely brings up nostalgic feelings when they’re talking about older songs. The personal stories about family life and tours are great and I love the segments about pop culture because I have very similar opinions about things like selfie sticks and overrated internet terms. It is definitely worth listening to my friend!
Underrated my friend
Great podcast, lets you get to know the guys on a more personal level. Entertaining and informative. Funny stories, music suggestions, pop culture talk, and so much more. Worth the listen.
HHEIA is the best thing since sliced bread. Love Hawthorne Heights? Love random stories? Love to hear funny rants by some dudes from Dayton? This podcast is for you! It will make you laugh, cry and love your favorite band even more!
I'm getting old enough to start being out-of-touch with what 'the kids' are into these days. Which is good, because some of it is scary and the rest makes no sense to me. Hawthorne Heights always made sense to me. They were real, when allot of things seem unreal. It's nice to see such an established band keep working & keeping in touch with their fans. Especially today when the lifespan of a band is almost literally 17 seconds. The subject matter on HHEIA is definitely worth listening to, and the breakdown of their songs - songs that got me through my teens & early 20s, songs that kept me alive - is a great touch. You don't typically get that kind of insight from bands in this genre. Five stars, because anything less would be a slap in the face to the people who jam/ have jammed to these dudes.
HHEIA is a really fun podcast. For the first half, everybody is just talking about what they've been thinking about recently and the second half is the band talking about a song. I really love hearing stories about the writing and recording songs. Also, I laugh a lot, so it's really best of both worlds. It's not strictly talking about music and it's not just the band talking for an hour. Definitely, check it out of you are a Hawthorne Heights fan, but it's also worth a listen if you are interested in music in general. There's a lot of stories about being a touring band, so it's really interesting to hear about things you normally don't.
