Description
Angelina Jolie stars in Columbia Pictures' Salt, a contemporary espionage thriller. Before becoming a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt (Jolie) swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. Angelina doesn’t get enough credit. She is an amazing actress and did great in this role. I am sad there wasn’t a sequel.
Why not include all (3) versions? I'd buy it!

Apple, include all (3) versions of this movie. I have the blu-ray and there are alterate endings. The one you are selling here is NOT the best alternate ending. Good grief. That is what iTunes Extras are for, no???
DO NOT GET "Extended cut"-it's not "extended," it's a different and substantially worse plot.

This is not a few choice extra scenes. This is major plot points being completely changed, leading to a different and much less satisfying ending, and ending which is trite and pat and lies there like a dead fish. A trite, pat, dead fish, if you can believe it. Does that sound like something you want? No. No. They shot a couple different versions, and thought, "Well, why not put the crummy version out too, we can make a few million more that way." Do not give them the satisfaction or your money. One star for lying to us.

Other than one section involving make-up, the original theatrical realse was a first-class spy thriller. Jolie is at the very top of her game. I'm looking forward to a sequel.

In the original theatrical release, they had cut a lot of scenes so it didn't flow together and the back plot was missing a lot. In this version, they kept all of the cut scenes and the ending gives the film closure. Whereas, the original one, the closure was of Salt jumping out of an aeroplane and then the end credits roll.

This movie has 3 different versions and I think this one is the best of all 3 because with the director's cut and the theatrical versions it was all the same ending with a couple distinct differences. But they both have you wonder whether or not there will be a sequel to this movie but this version pretty much sums up why there isn't gonna be one which makes it the best version of the 3.

The original movie is better. The extended version doesn’t do justice to the movie, changing the ending as well as key parts that help define the Salt character. Waste of effort and waste of money. The basic version is better.
