My parents showed this film to me when I was still a teenager. I made it through, sobbing and emotionally drained.
Now, as an adult, I watch this film with newer eyes… even if they are still sobbing wet.

A must watch!

This is a spectacular & yet disturbing story, it has heart and family, love and sadness & gut wrenching filmography, truly a masterpiece of one of the darkest historic moments in our life times, it’s very much worth your time to watch & remember those lives that were snuffed out and lost for the hatred of one man, the black and white is timeless & the story is also to be remembered, it will stick with you for a lifetime.

Schindler's List was the most capativating piece of art i have ever witnessed. Steven Spielberg directed the film as a reminder of the six million jews that were murderd and sedued. I stood there in awe as the film slow-paced movie with a 3 hour long runtime you get interesting storytelling, good character development and the dirty violent behavior towards the murderd jews.
Schindler's List follows Neo-Nazi criminal businessman named Oskar Schindler (Liam Nesson) and he works at a manafactuere factory that is filled to the brim witn dust and lust. As he arrives in Krakow in 1939 Oksar wants to make the big bet for money during War World II the year were everyone was depressed and murderd. Oskar Schindler saved over 1, 100 million jews from the scum of nazis and the film looks dirty and the cinematopgraphy is fantastic. Oskar was such a interesting hero of a character because watching Oskar risk his life to the jews as they are giving food, water, bread and really nice cold showers.
Schindler's List was a film that i never seen before because there are many nazi films about the holocaust like (Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, Downfall, Fury and The Great Escape) those films are well-written, brilliantly well shot and executed through characters that are heros, savoris and sometimes heros can be bad but as long there saving jews. Even though Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park came out the same year as Schinlder's List and it was much more effective and cinematic to exprience. Schinlder's List is a stunning achievement in cinema history because, a film that re-creates the Holocaust not as something abstract, but as felt knowledge.
With seemingly effortless grace and skill Steven Spielberg created a world beyond rules, death, violence, mayhem, money and the bumbs between the Holocaust that jews that are being killed for god's sake. For this film Spielberg has done the best directing in decades in his career. Much of his previous films like (E.T., Jaws, Indiana Jones troilgy, Duel and Poltergeist) those films are clever and some of it is better but never in a million years Schindler's List created the Holocaust as some risky behavoir and meangliness violence Spielberg ultimately reminds Spielberg finding his gem into making brilliant filmmaking and constructive characters and interesting visuals Schindler's List isn't just a Spielberg classic it's a film that teaches you history and commentary on war and nazis.

Powerful movie about one man’s bravery to save as many Jewish lives as he could, but can you add the Special Features and iTunes Extras and also upgrade to 4K so people can watch them online? This is really annoying to me when the Special Features appear on the Home Video releases of movies, but not on iTunes because technology is advancing everyday.

Steven Spielberg's film, Schindler's List, is a masterpiece. Liam Neeson gives a brilliant performance as Oskar Schindler. Ralph Fiennes portrays the ruthless commandant Amon Goeth Ben Kinsley is the stoic prisoner Itzhak Stern. Embeth Davidtz is the object of the cruelty of her master as Helen Hirsch. Shot in black and white the cinematography was well done and Janusz Kaminski was well deserving of the Academy Award. This film is not for the faint hearted. However it is well worth enduring the gut wrenching scenes as brutal as they are because it is the truth of war and tyranny at it's absolute worst.

As a work of Fiction , this film would be harrowing in itself , but as a true story it makes it more horrowing to think that one man would want to destroy humans just because of there religion , race or sexuality. I first saw this film in Ilford Essex , which has a large Jewish community , and i have never before , or since , heard people crying in a cinema so openly as the horrors unfolded on screen . This film will go down as one the greatest movies off all time . If you have never seen it , watch it ,

The first time I saw this movie, I was 12 years old and, for the explicit content, my father was encouraging me to watch it. I ended up watching it twice the day I saw it. And I understood why I was encouraged to watch it. This movie takes the viewer on an intimate and honest look at the greatest act of human cruelty in history. Director Spielberg gives you three hours of raw history, but shows us also that amidst the chaos and darkness of the Holocaust, humanity survived, that there were people willing to ignore the policies of the Third Reich, and preserve the sacredness of life at all costs. It also serves as a reminder that if we do not remember history, we are bound to repeat it.

Great acting by Liam and Ralph and Ben.

I didn't know Steven Spielberg as well as I do now until I saw Schindler's List. This masterpiece is easily, in my opinion, the best Spielberg film out there. Liam Neeson does an excellent job portraying the character of Oscar Schindler. However, the area this film exceeds at most is the atmosphere. The best example of this is when a German song is sung sadly by children during the persecution of innocent Jews. There are a lot of World War 2 movies out there but I think this one is the only one that focuses entirely on the struggles of the Jewish people and I admire it for that. All in all, Schindler's List is a very moving film with the perfect atmosphere. It's easily Spielberg's best. So, it's only obvious that I rate it 10/10.

Great

Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley, and Ralph Fiennes are probably some of the best actors in Hollywood, and together, they made this movie fantastic. This is one of Steven Spielberg's great films, and it deserved Best Picture during the Oscars. The acting is excellent, the story is gripping, the cinematography is amazing, and the music is spellbinding. I do give this a positive rating because the movie was so well done. Still, I found certain parts disturbing. Watching some of those recreations of the Holocaust were very upsetting and depressing. However, in the end, the one's that Oskar Schindler keeps are saved. It's both a sad and happy film, if you think about it. Definitely a must see, as long as it doesn't disturb you more.

I can't tell you how long lovers of this film have waited for it to be available on iTunes, let alone blu-ray. People don't love this movie because it's cheery or gives them the warm fuzzies the whole way through.
This movie, for me is educational. I lived for sometime in an area densely populated with Holocaust survivors and to have visions of what they endured during this horrible period of time in the history of the World and the strenght of mind it took them to survive made me appreciate my loving quiet neighbors so much more.
Fortunately, for workers at Schindler's factory, he was able to get them out of the atrocious cesspools and at least treat them like people. The end of this movie gives us hope that there are still genuinely good people who would go against orders they know are morally wrong.

Tastefully done, unpretentious. Having friends in Chicago and Los Angeles who were Holocaust camp survivors, the scenes ring true.
Sad that Schindler was not able to have a successful life after the war, but, his deed made possible for others to succeed for generations to come.
May we ALL choose to do what is right, rather than easy, when we are faced with the difficult choices.

I can't tell you how ecstatic I am to know that iTunes has finally added "Schindler's List" to its giant catalogue of movies. I've seen this incredible film so many times throughout my life, and it still makes me shed more than a few tears every single time I watch it. From the incredible performances to the harrowingly tragic story to the devastatingly emotional score, nearly everything about this heart-wrenchingly realistic depiction of the Holocaust makes it one of the most beautiful and brilliant dramas ever made, and the true work of a master filmmaker at the top of his craft. I don't think Steven Spielberg will ever be able to top this movie for the rest of his career. I don't think anyone can argue with me when I say "Schindler's List" is a grand masterpiece that deserves to be recognized for all its major contributions to the world of modern cinema. This Oscar-winning film is so significant, it deserves to be seen by every living person at least once during their lifetime. I swear, you will not regret it.
