My wife and I watch this movie every year during the holidays. We absolutely love it. "I'll have a funnel cake. It'll be the highlight of my day." "Where are my Mary Janes, Kate?" "I sell tires retail Kate, retail." Nicholas Cage's delivery is phenomenal. Probably one of his greatest performances and yet under the radar. Tea Leoni is fantastic. Jeremy Piven before he was really anyone. The scene in the bowling alley with the Fidelity Bank and Trust is classic. And Don Cheadle. What's not to love. The only downside if anything to this movie is that the ending has nowhere to go. It does well for where the story boxes it into, but while it is a great feelgood movie that makes you appreciate your family, it isn't a buttoned up Hollywood happy ending. And that is actually refreshing.

This is truly one of the best movies I have ever seen. I have watched it many, many times and finally decided to buy it on my iPhone so I can just watch it on my way to and from work. Truly a classic!!!!!!

This movie should of been NC 17! It showed a baby's pubic area! (Well, it showed it quickly but still!) Saw this in church. Very stupid

Second time I watched this movie in 12 years...just as funny and heart-wrenching the 2nd time around. Whenever you have a Life changing decision to make; over money or love or future success...."I choose US !!!" and you won';t regret it:)

Few movies have become traditions for us at Christmas time and this has become one of them. It assures all of us that Family trumps everything else. Who cares if you have a Ferrari and instead have missed the sweetest things in life - like a loving wife, sweet children and he beauty of Christmas together. Choose "us" folks! Love your families and lets get back to the traditions that built this country. A movie I enjoy watching every year.

The best movie I have ever seen makes u laugh and cry .

I watched this movie years ago -- overall, I thought it was a great film to watch with my wife... I enjoyed it and it truly made me appreciate what I have in life... sadly, the end almost brought me to tears. I have a bad habit of being very empathetic to a main character, so the loss he suffers was almost unbearable for me to watch.

Although it was painful to watch, the truly great movies touch a part of your soul -- and this one will always be memorable to me.

At first, like Nicholas Cage, I was a bit confused. I thought it had this "Groundhog Day" thing going. Then it looked like one of those body changing/trading places movie. Eventually I figured out that it was something else all on its own. What I learned from watching this is, the average joe life might just be a dream job.

He's single, smart, rich and likes it that way...until he wakes up. lol. I liked this movie. The chemistry between Leoni and Cage is believable. Feel good movie for the holidays.

Watched this movie with my wife of 10 yrs while our 2 kids slept in their rooms 2 floors upstairs from where we sat in our lower level family. At that time, I laughed a loud when Cage's character found a bottle of whiskey inside the desk drawer of "The Family Man's" tire store office when he spoke to himself, "I bet you needed this (the alcohol) often." Well my now x-wife did not think my humor too funny, but she is/was too sensitive to these topics. But the movie is great, it will rem in those who pay attention of what is reallyt important cannot be bought. My ex-wife's final words were "I had everything", which she was mostly right. She should have said "WE" had everything. We had every material want, including homes, cars but life have us great kids too. Now several years later post divorce, lost everything but it is the pain on my his faces that keeps me up at night. Ex-wife has done everything she can do so that she earns the joke tag line that ends with the answer "ex-wife". Gentleman, give your wife everything because if she every decides to take it, she will and will leave nothing for you. Get and smile to treat her like a queen because it is with her power to destroy you with the stroke of her attorney's pen! (P.S.: I am a lawyer but have soft spot for my kids that ex-wife knew of and took advantage. Admit it guys, we like being married. (I never cheated or anything like that, I worked a lot, but she was right work will not keep you company during holidays or warn at night. Depressing.

I have watched this movie many times and find myself still happy at the end....perhaps not an Oscar contender but overall a very good "feel good" movie. Cage and Leoni are a good match and do a good job making the best of these roles. Definitely a movie worth watching at the Holidays if for any other reason than to know that people are fallable and there is hope.

Christmas and romance movies are my favorites to watch. I watched this movie when it first came out in theater, and it's one of my most favorite movies of all time. From beginning to end...I looove it!!!! This movie acts out the what if's we might have, and shows us the two possibilities; only you know which one is right for you.

Fantastic movie. I really love Nicolas Cage in this flick. Tea Leoni looked amazimg and made me think of settling down. (briefly) This is one of my new Holiday Classics.

Well acted. Great heartwarming story that remimds us there is more to life than money.

It keeps your eyes in the movie and it's a pretty good Family movie... Recommend it a 90%

My wife and I are great fans of this movies. Having lived and worked in NYC we frequently watch this movie. Great acting of both Nicolas and Tea. We hope there will be a sequel .... Definately a recommended comedy! And more than that...

My wife and I saw this movie when it first came out 10 years ago and we have seen it numerous times since and it still makes me laugh and cry in all the same spots!! I just finished watching it for the umpteenth time and once again, laughter and tears. This movie will make u appreciate all you have and forget about what u don't! Awesome!

You simply cannot miss Family Man! It is THE movie to see during the Holidays. It is funny and at the same time inspiring :-)
