So good.
But seriously? "Don't mess with the dress!"?!? That is SUCH a stupid line!
A funny thing is that the prince is kind of a sissy.
I think the fact that the 4 main characters temporarily named themselves after stuff people say on holidays and dessert foods is HILARIOUS!!!!!
I like that there aren't any sappy slow songs(OR EVEN SLOW SONGS IN GENERAL!!!) in that movie(unlike SOME older Barbie movies[i.e.;Island Princess,12 Dancing Princesses,Princess and the Pauper, etc])
Also yall should stop sayin that Barbie dont count cuz uh theres 4 main characters. FOUR!!!!!
Also #peaceouthaterz
Overall,OUTSTANDING job,Mattel and its Barbie Movie franchise!!!

This movie is made for little kids, so it's not going to be the most interesting thing in the world. I for one love this movie. I think that it's interesting and cute, you should buy it!!!

To whoever doesn't know what touché means…it's to say good point. 😃I liked this movie, but just to say…all of the girl were extremely perky and annoying. Otherwise it was pretty entertaining. And I'm an 11 year old

This is another of my favorites. I like the theme of friendship, courage to stand up for what's right, and it takes hard work, determination and hope to accomplish ones dreams and goals. This movie is great for all ages. The colors and landscape of France and Paris are pretty cool also.

I think isn't even that much in the stores?? We have this movie as with all barbie movies... It's really good but this cost is way too high!
My 4 year old watches it over and over... We even have the Wii game nice for girls to have a strong role to try for.... Girls can do anything they want!! Even in a boy sport or job!!

Rent?

The movie was fine for girls who like Barbie. I would like to see the big songs from this Barbie movie as well as the others in this genre (Mermaid Tale, 12 Dancing Princesses) available for purchase. We liked that Fashion Fairytale's songs were available.
Look, I like high art as much as the next person....but when you have three little girls, this is what you have to work with, so might as well enjoy them enjoying it.

My little 8 year old sister really likes this movie, and I actually like it myself. For once, Mattel designed a very believable historic Paris, and also made it clear from the clothing and the lifestyle that the movie could've taken place in the 1700's. which makes the scenery real eye candy.

I wish Barbie would go back in time...

I am a Barbie-Movie/Music fan, and I'm always looking forward to a new movie coming out. When I first heard of this one, I watched the trailer online and thought that it looked a little 'eh', but decided that it couldn't be all that bad.
Unfortunately, I didn't like it. After seeing all the older Barbie movies, with all the lovely music and beautiful dancing, this one looked like an overhyped CGI kung-foo movie in comparison - with a lot of action, but little plot. Yes, the colors are brighter, and Barbie's movement has become less stiff and a lot more fluid over the movies, but it seemed rather cheaply made. There were several unfinished-looking shots that seemed to just be thrown in to fill up a few seconds of space. Also, the beautiful music that was always present in "Princess and the Pauper" wasn't there. Only one song played, and it's more of a modern type. I was disappointed at that, because even though I didn't really care for "Island Princess" either, the wondrous music made it all worth it.
The plot was ok...but it never reached its full potential as a movie. The prince was - let's face it - a bit of a sissy compared to all the princes past, and has to be rescued by Barbie. (Also one shot of his face looks really weird...I thought I was just being picky until my dad said that he had noticed too.)
Despite my criticism, some parts were funny. The prince nearly smacks into a tree, Barbie and Co. change their names temporarily into food-items and the kind old maid gets her revenge on the bossy, overbearing housekeeper.
And yes, Barbie does keep her image of believing in herself and following her dreams, no matter what others say, but in this movie, she seems a little touchier about it than in others.
I still wish that they would combine the old with the new - make wonderful stories and music and combine them with stunning colors and graphics. Unfortunately, I'm not certain I will see it happen.

My husband and I both have iphones and to keep out children entertained in the car, restaurant, Dr. Office etc we are always looking for quality movies and cartoons. We recently purchased an Ipod touch for my 4 year old to have her own " Phone " and she has this movie on it. She LOVES it ! She has the pink doll and pretends she's a "musateer" as she says it. I will probably buy this on hard copy as well because I thought it was cute too and would do great for a sleep over or Mommy slumber party with our girls. Im looking forward to the new Mermaid movie that is coming out !

Really?

My little girl (almost 4) is into all things Princess and Barbie, so this is a good choice for her. It's clean, wholesome and doesn't have "scary parts" that we have to fast forward through.
I was skeptical of the Barbie movie franchise, but we rented "12 Dancing Princesses" and I was enchanted by the values protrayed by the film - kindness, courage, honesty, obey your parents, etc. This is a common theme in all of the Barbie movies we've watched so far. Though we are not relying on videos to instill these values in our daughter, it is nice to be able to turn on a video and not worry about the values protrayed.
I try to be in the room when my daughter is watching a video, or at least within earshot and 3 Musketeers is one of the more tolerable Barbie movies (I found Thumbelina to be entirely too sappy).
If you are choosing this movie based on the reviews, please ignore the reviews of people who are against it simply because it's Barbie or because it "ruins" Alexandre Dumas' classic storyand take into consideration the reviews of people who have actually seen it, or have purchased it for someone to watch.
Barbie movies always put their own spin on classic tales and though some change the tale to be almost unrecognizable, this one is more of a sequel to the original tale (Barbie, as Corinne, is D'Artangan's daughter). It gave my daughter and I a good talking point for how at one time, girls were considered unable to do a "man's" job and that now, a girl can be anything she wants to be if she works hard and learns the skills necessary for the job. And yes, it is nice to see the girl save the boy for once.

My kids loved this movie, my 8-year old daugther AND my 6-year old son watched it.
I don't know how many of you actually read Alexandre Dumas' wonderful story but there are 4 main characters, not 3, so please stop talking nonsense. Athos, Aramis, Porthos and...voila...D'Artagnan. FOUR.
I wonder why people make bad comments about a kids' movie, this is ridiculous.
Most of the Barbie movies are fun to watch, even for adults. I can't say I like them, I'm 44 but my kids enjoy them and what makes THEM happy, makes ME happy. Especially since these Barbie movies are actually harmless movies without the violence and gore some modern cartoons show.

This is a first! A Prince in distress is saved by very determined ladylike girl musketeers... It was time our little girls got an empowering message from Barbie... don't be fool by their finness... at last! Loved it, the message, the main song lyrics, the graphics are way better than the previous movies, the best Barbie movie yet!

Cute

Look, they can't confuse the children because the title CLEARLY says, "BARBIE and the THREE MUSKETEERS". While the movie does focus on four girls, the original story and movie from "The Three Musketeers" had four men, so quit sounding as if you know everything--this to people who think they know it all.
As for the movie itself, it was very cute, and the songs were empowering. Since this is geared towards young children--especially young girls--I give it a 4. :)

First critical mistake-in this movie, there are four Barbie Musketeers. Learn your counting, children!
Killing a classic, horrible animation, stupid plotline.
Let your kids watch Seasme Street. They might actually learn something.
