It was terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was boring. Not funny at all or sweet/romantic. Not worth it. It could have been good but they sure as hell made sure it didn't turn out that way.

Never wanna see it again. It's a boring chick flick. There isn't even hot burning romance. It's SO predictable and it takes the movie forever to reach any substantial climax. UGH. Waste of time.

I've been waiting FOREVER for this to come out on rent, and it finally did!! And I did NOT regret renting it! It was wonderful - but would not suggest watching it if you don't like predictable plots and chick flicks. :)

Thought it was hysterical. Dempsey has great comedic timing and the chemistry between Michele and him is perfect! Very funny - this is a great movie!

So MADE OF HONOR, it does indeed have a catch to it. If you watch the preveiw, you will definately put that on your "movies to see" list. but over all, the movie wasn't that great. It is rated PG-13 for a good reason. it has alot of bad language, but mostly it is very sexual. definatley not for kids.

This is my favorite movie. Funny, romantic, and cute. I am a huge Patrick Dempsey fan so that's part if the reason. Otherwise, I was in love.((:

Silly and predictable

OK, so it's not an oscar quality film, but it was a nice movie for a little romantic comedy. I f you like patrick Dempsey, you'll enjoy it. Michelle Monaghan was good too. The chemistry is great between them - the whole cast for that matter. Some of the writing was not so great, but overall, a good story, and any shortcomings are compensated for by the chemistry or the players. If you're curious, check it out - maybe stick to another source though, so you can just rent it. Or keep an eye on it on itunes, and maybe they'll have it for rent sometime. I don't buy movies, so I can't say if I think its worth buying, but a good rent.

I would really like to see a return of the movies where the decent, faithful guy ends up with the girl. Tom is a horrible womanizer who doesn't have a deep bone in his body. Why exactly does he win the heart of the smart, funny Hannah? Who knows, but she should really have her head examined. On top of that, the humor fell flat for me because it only seemed to be wrapped around sex. I mean really, isn't there anything else funny in the world besides that? For a romantic comedy there was very little romance OR comedy that I could see.

I really enjoyed this movie and have watched it several times.

If you are expecting a kind of "when Harry met Sally" you won't find it here. The comedy is much more plain, the acting is nowhere near...

But I still like very much! It's entertaining, funny and pretty romantic (in a very innocent and healthy way).

This movie is aweomse for people who have a best friend of the opposite sex! I'm sure if you have then you at some point thought about having a relationship with that person, but aren't sure to go about with it or not. This movie really made me think about my best friend who's a female and this movie basically describes ever part of what usually goes on with us on a everyday basis. Great movie!

Saw it on a transatlantic flight, I was a captive audience, otherwise I never would have invested the time in a such a dumb, cutesy, predictably stereotypical movie.

Eh! Didn't really like it. Thought Mr. Dempsey would be appealling but his character really did not have enough redeeming qualities to make up for his womanizing. "Honesty" was supposed to be that redeeming quality, hence the title. Rented it earlier but did not get to watch it before it expired. Went to rent it again only to find that it was buy only. Took the change but was disappointed.

basically, tom is happy because he gets to sleep with a different woman every night and then gets to see his best friend hannah every day. then she goes to scottland and gets engaged and she asks him to be her made of honor. he tries to show her thay he is the right one to marry.

I've seen this movie over 10 timess and it still cracks me up. Totally original, having the guy be her maid of honor. I loved how everyone thought he was gay! ha!

This is by far one of the BEST I have seen in a Loooooooong time. Wonderful actors and they filled the roles perfect! Keeps you interested until the very end and never gets boring. An absolute MUST-SEE.

I’ve got to write this review quickly, lest I forget this by-the-numbers romantic comedy completely. Playing into the fantasy that the womanizing man truly only wants true love, it flips the scenario of My Best Friend’s Wedding. That is, when he (Patrick Dempsey) realizes he loves her (Michelle Monaghan), she’s about to marry someone else, some Scottish dude. Now, I don’t remember the Julia Roberts character sleeping around so much in Wedding. That idea must have been lifted from some other movie. In any case, it’s not easy to believe that these attractive people who’ve been best pals for ten years have never previously considered each other as romantic partners, and the flimsy setup offered up by the three screenwriters doesn’t help sell it. They’re too busy setting up a generic rom-com plot to create characters of even the slightest depth. There’s the overachieving romantic rival to introduce, the over-elaborate wedding that, for no apparent reason, is set to take place in mere weeks, and, at last, the race-against-time finale. As for the comedy part of the equation, I believe hilarity was intended by having the guy be the “maid” of honor. Cue the gay jokes, and isn’t it funny for a guy to be helping to choose the china pattern? On the bright side, the cheap physical humor and forced wackiness is kept to a minimum. Still, this movie was so dull that it probably could have used a pie fight or two.

I was originally dragged to this movie by a good friend who later became my girlfriend, and was not expecting much. It turned out to be a great movie and has become one of my favorites. watched it many times since. Yes it may be predictable, but honestly how many are not these days. Kevin McKidd is SEX-SAY!!!! I love him in Rome, in Trainspotting, in Bedrooms and Hallways, etc. He's amazing! LOVE THE ACCENT!!!! ROAD TRIP!!!! Note to self: Go to Scotland. I had a friend who would wear his kilt at his parties. Um... I don't remember the white diaper. The cinematography of Scotland was enchanting! OK... So McKidd's character can play the bagpipes--grab your guitar and start rocking! DUH! That's got "It's a Long Way to the Top (if You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)" written ALL OVER IT!!!

For guys not afraid to take in a chick flick now and again, here is a romantic comedy that is worth a rental. Follows the basic formula for romantic comedy about a playboy that discovers too late that he has romantic feelings for his best (Platonic) friend, and tries to keep her from going through with a shotgun wedding to the Perfect Guy..from Scotland!

Has some funny guy moments and some good scenery. If you're secure in your manhood you'll enjoy this film. I was impressed by the guy's ability to remember specific things about his lady, things he has learned she loves and enjoys; we fellas could stand to take a few pointers in this regard, eh? This film is not quite as good as How To Lose A Guy... or Fool's Gold, but if you liked those you'll probably enjoy Made of Honor. Good fun.

PG-13 for a fair amount of strong language, and plenty of sexual references. MC-25 (Man-Card 25) for cute humor, heartwarming moments, and almost-cheesy-but-not-quite-cookie-cutter happy endings. Bonus points for kilts.

Really all i have to say about this is....AWESOME CHICK FLICK!!! the plot was really funny and new, and i thought it had a lot of good moments in it. I actually rented this a while after it came out, thinking over my obsession w/ Patrick and how funny the movies he usually stars in are. Very well done!!! *slaps high five w/ producer!* w00t!

when i first saw the previews and idea for this movie i knew it was going to be good, and they dont let u down. the movie is funny and witty but has that predictable ending (yes the obvious one ur thinking couldnt possibly be the ending) but its the way you get there that makes the movie still enjoyable and worth the watch. im not sure if its worth the whole 15 dollars, but i def. reccomend seeing it whether it be through itunes or otherwise!

I half-watched this movie because it was the in-flight entertainment on a trans-Atlantic flight. There was no engaging dialog, no believable plot, and no sympathetic characters. The pacing was bad, the acting mediocre. The male lead was an unlikable philanderer, and the female deserved what she got up until the point he suddenly saw the light and did what he was "supposed" to do. Save your time and money. Both were free for me, and I still regret the loss.
