Saw IV is in between the good and the bad. It may not be as good as the previous Saw movies, but it's better than Paranormal Activity 4! (Or any Paranormal Activity movie that's for sure!) Some people like it, some people don't, but I'm apart of the people who do. Ok film, you should try this one.

Okay, it's the best movie ever... FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKE EXTREMELY LIFE-LIKE GORY STUFF... I lasted 10 minutes through it. I can tell you how it started off...

First, from what I remember there was a dead guy in a autopsy room. His neck was slit open, and the guy cut open the dead persons skin on his head. Then peeled it back, and opened the skull open too, and took out the brain. Then, they cut open his stomach and cut open his... eating... organ thing... where your food digests *Idk what its called...* and it was all black in it and a recorded tape in a cover was in it... they called in someone for the tape and what the heck the black circles and stuff were in the stomach.

The guy they called in played the tape and it was Jigsaw *The guy who runs the game and wears a mask and tortures people* comes up on the thing saying something like, "You think you'll get out alive or un-tested..." and "Now its your turn..." and then it says Saw IV or something... (Like I said, I dont remember well.)

It pans over to some slightly fat guy (I think), who has his eyelids sewn shut. He wakes up first and realizes he cant see. He has a chain around his neck- metal- leading to some rotater. He feels the cord of metal chain links for a little bit and realizes he's captive. He screams out, "Where are you?! Why are you doing this?! Who are you?!" and wakes up... the other guy across the room. He can see, but his lips are sewn shut. He makes moan sounds because he cant open his mouth. Smartly enough, Jigsaw put weapons over to the blind guys side. He screams, "Who are you?! Why are you doing this to me?!" And is very paranoid. He can't see that its another guy whos also kidnapped. The blind guy picks up a hatchet or something (A small axe I guess you can say) and throws it across the room. He is also chained but he does something and the machine holding the chains is going in. The mute guy (Mouth sewn), see's his necklace needs a key to get out before his head is brutally taken off. But the key... is on the wepon packed, blind, paranoid guys side! (He's screwed in my opinion), and he's throwing weapons, and the blind guy finally gets the mute guys leg with a mini axe, but soon enough the mute guy gets a... pitch-ax... (forgot what its called... maybe a pitch-axe... it has a handle in the middle and a small rainbow on top of it evened out for the handle) and hits the blind guys neck spurting out blood... then I quickly channged the channel

The Saw franchise couldn't get any better. Honestly, the plot twists have surprised me since the first one, and now I'm on number four here. These movies have climbed up to my favourites list, and they're just so great. I've been watching these on a string of two days, today being three. I won't ever cease to enjoy these films. Way to go, Saw.

Kinda good saw movie but wasnt the best

Wow, I was really impressed with the 4th installment. I don't understand why people think Saw is dead just because Jigsaw died. This movie will take you back and show you how John Kramer really became Jigsaw. This movie is awesome!! And has taken a whole new direction. Yes, the story was harder to follow, but it's a movie you have to watch more than once. Overall: The special effects are amazing as always, acting was good, and the suspense was nonstop! Be sure to watch them in order, this is just the beginning!!

Which movie has the best traps saw 4, saw 5, or saw:the final chapter?

I am a huge fan of all the saw movies, and I was very happy to find out that the franchise is continuing after saw III, although saw III would've been an excellent place to end the series as opposed to the countless sequels to come. Most people say that they didn't like this movie or had to rewatch it because it doesn't make senses. Well, I'm sorry for all those people who had to rewatch it because that would completely take away from the experience! I guess I was lucky enough because I understood the whole plot with the time line and re-appearing characters. Overall I thought this movie was excellent. Although the saw movies are generally known for their big twist endings, I kinda knew the ending the whole time. The traps seemed a bit less creative than the last three movies, but I'm all for the blood and gore that saw has to offer!

Saw IV had to not hte great movie out htere in these saw series but lots of people liked it I kinda did it had some goods and bad reviews.

When it stops like that it means you have no room left for the movie... So you need to go delete some stuff and it should work just fine..... The same thing happened to me lol

I tried to download this and it got to2.7 gigs and than it just stoped and say cluck up retry so I do and it goes 1.4 gigs 1.7 gigs stops and says click retry and this is after I have payed for it!!!! I tunes I want a refund!!!! Now!!!

Awesome series and rotten tomatoes doesn't know what they are talking about. This or saw ii is easily my favorite saw. Just wish they did more with the Eric matthews character in saws 2-4

Easily the worst movie of the Saw series . They could've easily ended with the 3rd movie but they just wanna make more money . Saw 1,2,3,and 6 are pretty great. 5,7, and this are just awful .

Ahh, it's pretty good. Better than the first one. Saw 2 and 3 are worth watching, but this one is a must see for Saw fans. The first part when they do the autotopsy is so cool to watch.. Not many traps though.

So, this is a great movie, and I love all the Saw movies. The problem right now is that it seems like I'm being forced to buy instead of having the choice of renting from iTunes. I was able to rent II and III from iTunes, but this one doesn't seem to have a "Rent Movie" option. Kind of annoying when I only need the movie for a couple days.

The only thing i didnt like is jeff is killed b4 he finds his poor daughter, who jigsaw traped. Damn you hoffman for killing Jeff in the beging. And director, i was looking fwd to ceing Jeff play for his daughter. Other than that. Very good

Nothing could possibly match the vulgar filth that splatters on the screen. Not suggested for the faint hearted.

I love Saw, well, at least the plot, characters,etc. But honestly, all that freakin gore and guts, uuuuuuuh! In fact, i'm making my own saw movies called Dagger. There's nowhere near as many guts spewing out of people. If you like that blood, ok, we're all entitled to our own opinion. Preview of Dagger- the story follows Tucker Johnson (a character featured in my less gory version of Halloween). He's the new Jigsaw and Michael Myers. Dagger has the same plot as saw, but like I said before, a LOT less gore. Oh, and, i've got tons of custom legos for Dagger. Anyway, I recommend Any Saw movie to any horror fan. Please, wish me good luck on Dagger.

Ausome movie ! Jiggsaw never fails to amaise and surprize us.I love him for it.The plot twist,as usual,was ausome but this time not as good as the lesson lerned behind it.This has to be one of my favorites cause it has the most traps,the most riddles,and the most twists.Jiggsaw takes lifes lessons and teaches them to people the hard way.Extreme yes but it gets the job done and if not him them who else is going to do it.

I love how these movies make you listen to every little detale because everything Jiggsaw says is important.I also love how EVERYONE is always in on the game.You may look like a bad guy but you're really just another good guy learning his lesson the hard way playing one of Jiggsaw's games.But the main reason people see these movies is the plot twists and this movie does not dissapoint.

Fast paced plot, solid acting, and twisted gore are blended together wonderfully for the fourth installment of the SAW franchise.

Directing: While fast paced and chaotic, it was simoutaneously smooth and slick when the film slowed down. Very well done. 8/10

Cinematography: David A. Armstrong always seems to outdo himself in the series, and Saw IV's stand out color and atmosphere are no exeption. Beatiful look to a Horrific film. 9/10

Acting: Some of the best in the franchise. Tobin Bell, Lyriq Bent, Justin Louis, Betsy Russel, and Scott Patterson are all great, and noticably add to the way and quality of the flow of the film. 8.5/10

Story: A sadistic, emotionally charged dual love story (Rigg and his friend Eric, and Jill/Gideon and John) with Horrificly memorable gore sequences, like the infamous autopsy of Jigsaw, and an unforgettably amazing ending that will screw with your head.

Traps: More complex and fast paced than it's gut wrenching predecessor, Saw III.

Overall: Beatifully Horrific film, with a past paced horror/thriller story that is as emotionally charged as it is horrific.

Saw is the greatest bad bloodest movie!! And now they making Saw VI this year of Halloween 2009!! I had this DVD but someone just borrow it and forgot to return the DVD to me and I had to buy it again but if Saw IV is on 2 disc maybe I'll buy it!! LOVE THIS BLOODY MOVIE!! The beginning was sick that the chains were pulling by the necks and cover one eyes and one mouth by nasty cover!! I love all the trap and my favorite trap is The Hair Trap sure it's nasty but it's kinda bloody awsome the blood comes!! SAW IV ROCKS!! This director does a great job making this Saw movie!! BEST HALLOWEEN HORROR MOVIE EVER!!

I'm a huge fan of the Saw series, the concept never gets old to me. Saw IV is such a great movie, it has far evolved from the original Saw. The traps and how the movie is put together is very clever. I highly recommend this movie, but this one isn't as good as Saw V (;

i love ALL the saws. even the fifth one... but the fourth one(this movie) has to my my favorite BY FAR. the man that plays jigsaw (even though he dies in the third one) does so well, and if it was some other actor, i probably wouldnt watch it. he drags your interest into the movie, some how. he just does it well. and amanda... she creeps me out! but thats the whole point. if she didnt creep me out, she wouldnt be a very good actress.

i though this movie was really interesting. but i liked the 1st 2 Saw's a lot more than the second 2. I dont know why they would kill off the villan so quickly in a 4 movie series but overall i liked it. any saw fan will appreciate the movie. and by the way, i saw someone mention that this was the conclusion to the series, last time i checked SAW V had been announced, so get ready for more come october.

I'm tired of people complaining about the Saw series. Even if you don't like the series, there must be enough of fans to make a fourth installment. I for one, loved Saw I, hated Saw II, enjoyed Saw III, and thought Saw IV was a great addition. Saw IV was the second best only to the original. Can't wait for Saw V.

i love the saw series, the twists and turns through out the entire movie simple amazing, and the new guy in this truly fits the part. I have heard that there is going to be a total of seven saw movies im hoping this is true.

The movies are enjoyable i love SAW III the beginnig is rough but you know what movie dosent have its rough spots . Itunes need to put a buy tag on this one because it is the best yet.

this was way better than the other saw movies. it was alot more clever than the three previous saw films, which didn't seem to fully understand what they were doing. Those expecting a repeat of the previous saw movies may be pleasantly suprised as i was. Now I'm not saying this movie is all that good, but compared to the previous saws, this is noticably more clever and better thought out. Worth watching once or twice.

Good movie. But we should be able to buy. I am sick of this rental crap. Why would I want to spend forever to download it, just so i can watch it a few times. I think that for every movie you can Rent, you should be able to buy for the normal price.

i've seen this twice and it was good the first time....second time wasn't very entertaining. this is probably the only movie on itunes that i don't recommend buying. they did u a favor putting it as RENT only.

This movie was great don't get me wrong but I can find Saw 3 on itunes,hopefully they will add it so I can dig into that 3rd puzzle piece im missing to the 4 part puzzle.
