EARTH GIRLS ARE EASY: It’s a musical! It’s a comedy! It’s a slapstick romantic sci-fi musical comedy for the MTV generation! But with Julie Brown songs like “I Like ‘Em Big and Stupid” and “’Cause I’m a Blonde,” it’s also a good-natured razzing of Lifestyles of Airheads, Valley Girls and the L.A. Brain-Burned.

The trio of space-cases (Goldblum, Carrey, Wayans) are essentially the Three Stooges de-evolutionized into monkeys, interested only in mimicking things or eating them; horny space sailors who learn to talk by watching TV (“Are we limp and hard to manage?”) and who are totally taken by Jerry Lewis in “The Nutty Professor.” There’s a plot somewhere in there, but really, who cares? It’s enough to watch them all cavort through this fluffy, goofy little romp—and to try to spot all the pop culture references in Val’s sci-fi nightmare. Awesome, Dr. Dude!

I love cheesy 80s movies, and FLIPPED when I saw this! Such a great film with plenty of laughs! I just wish renting wasn't the only option!

One of my favorite movies. A great comedy, and I love Geena Davis' bikini!

It's a great title. Julie Brown turned it into a fun little pop tune. The cast is all young and cute. But very little happens with the goofy premise. It's almost a pure fluff movie, very 80s L.A. It's hard to hate. I just wish they'd spent more time actually writing a story and some jokes to go with the title.

Just watching how Angelyne gets out of her pink corvette at the gas station makes the movie!!!!! Whew, enough said.

I watched a stage version of this on youtube with Kristin Chenoweth (Valerie), Julie Brown (Candy) , Hunter Foster, and I can't remember the rest of the people....but it was great! :) It made me want to see this...and it's so funny how different Kristin and Geena are. Well, great 80's movie! :)

Just turn off your brain and enjoy. 80s camp to the max.

Who couldn't go wrong with jim carrey? This movie has all the essence of the now days jim carrey, but has the twist of being with more great actors, this is a defanant yes for jim carrey and genna davis fans!!!!!

I've always loved this movie and Return of the Killer Tomatoes! I wish iTunes would add the soundtrack to Earth Girls Are Easy because the songs are just as great.

This movie is so great. it combines the cheesey-ness of that era with a halarious Jim Carrey and a very hot Jeff Goldblum. Couldn't be bad right?

This is one of the best movies. It's just so impressive on how amazing it is. Sure I'm 12, and this movies from the 80's, but it's so awsome. Not as good as Walk The Line but still. I love the song 'Cause I'm A Blond'. I would totally and definitely recemend buying it.

I watched this movie late at night, loved it, told everyone about it (they didn't believe me), and since then I have been looking everywhere to rent/buy/download/watch it again. This is a must see movie, if just to get a laugh. Two thumbs way up.

This is an enjoyable movie. Has a few good laughs and shows the potential of comdey greatness of Jim Carrey.
