Yeah, brad Pitt cameo..... always liked the actors but they packed little energy into this film.

A complete waste of time, Bullocks stiff face, she can’t even act with all that Botox. Garbage, false advertisement. No lost city at all…

Movie buff here hardly watches movies anymore but this was refreshingly light and active enough that it kept my attention.

This is a combination of Indiana Jones meets gold member. Neither good or bad. Just uses up a couple of unused hours in day

Wow you guys really got me thinking the trainer was dead ! I’m so glad he’s alive I stoped enjoying the movie once I thought he was dead and then I saw he was alive I loved the whole movie I have a feeling they planned this just to show the girl he was a real hero

Yes, this movie borrowed themes from Nim’s Island and Romancing the stone. The humor was not as often as the previews suggested. The love story between the main characters seemed flat. It should have ended plutonic. Also Channing’s bare butt scene was gratuitous and so unnecessary. Especially the staring part, it was awkwardly uncomfortable to the point it literally killed the flow. The movie just didn’t need it.

However, there was the fabulous cameo by Brad Pitt, and he totally stole and owned the movie! That part alone was worth seeing. The bit about the weatherman was a great line! To be honest, there was more chemistry in that scene between Bullock and Pitt than there was with Channing. I was sad they didn’t just keep him along for the ride. I think that triangle dynamic would have been fun to watch. I rather did enjoy Channing trying to play catch up and always arriving late to play the hero.

I also liked the story around the tomb and the true treasure. I found it refreshing that it was true to the tribal rituals instead of the “everything is gold and sparkling jewels” so many plots of the genre are. It was nice to have it be simple and honestly sweet rather than ostentatious and gritty.

All in all, I would say rent before you buy or view it for free on Paramount. Buying is gonna be a personal preference for sure. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea for sure.

Have great on-screen chemistry. While it’s tough to beat the on-screen chemistry that Sandra has with Ryan Reynolds in The Proposal, she & Channing are amazing! There’s depth to their characters & it’s cool to see how they get themselves out of misadventures that they’ve been thrown into.

I bought it because of Sara as she usually is in a good movie, not this one. Just a couple laughs, don’t bother to even rent. Watch “Romancing The Stone” instead.

Lost interest, very bad acting would not pay to watch this movie

This is free on EPIX or paramount plus, anyways - not good. Sandra bullock isn’t cute of funny.

The huge lady is just another unattractive Danny Devito, only not funny at all. The innuendo is poorly timed and embarrassing to watch. And the “Crown of Fire” is just a bunch of seashells. What a waste. Oh, and all the reviews are the typical fake “opinions” of paid 3rd world phone center employees.

I should have rented it tbh. Channing Tatum was only mildly funny in his role of a dumb Ken doll (which he seems to keep playing) & I didn’t believe the love story between the two characters. I usually really like Sandra Bullock but she seems to be tired of acting, although she did put in an effort. There were some funny parts, though, but I had to look away from Channing Tatum’s completely unnecessary river/leech scene. Super uncomfortable and honestly, a money grab because sex sells, right? Brad Pitt was the best part of the movie. He was HILARIOUS even if he was only in it for ten minutes or so. Daniel Radcliffe made a somewhat decent villain but his motivation seemed a little weird. He did all of that because his father gave his empire to his younger brother? Some things just didn’t totally add up but it was fun seeing Harry Potter as the rich bad guy with tons of charcuterie items. All in all, I thought it was a cute, okay movie.

I expected the movie to be a little silly, but hoped the humor and chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum would make it worthwhile. For me, it was disappointing. I didn’t find it funny and the chemistry was lacking. Brad Pitt and Daniel Radcliffe were pretty fun to watch in their roles.

Worth the $20. Extremely entertaining.

This movie was from from start to end, very funny and a mood lifting movie. Highly recommend seeing it, might not be a “family” movie as there is suggestive adult humor but overall I’d say it’s safe.

Preview did it justice. I thought their chemistry was great. I don’t buy many movies anymore but adding this to the collection as soon as it’s available. Will definitely be watching again and again! And that Brad Pitt cameo was too funny! “Why are you so handsome? My father was a weatherman “ 😂😂😂
