One of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time. Super original, amazing characters, hilarious, and heartwarming. What more could you ask for in a film.

Any Director who keeps putting themselves in their own movies is déclassé.

The two people who hated this movie either only watched the trailer and made an assumption or they just need to stick to storylines that are a little simpler for them to understand. No one was trying to suggest that Hitler was a “funny guy”. This is a movie about the world seen through the eyes of a ten year old boy, and how he is able to process some very serious indoctrination and somehow manage to maintain his innocence and eventually break free. Each of the protagonists had their moment to shine, and made you genuinely feel for them. The fake reviewers here need to actually watch the movie before offering an opinion or grow up so their feelings don’t get hurt. SMH.

I really enjoyed the movie but, I wondered if Elsa and Jojo did stay together. But in all It was very cute.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The way that the story is presented is incredible. All of Taika Waitittis films have one thing in common, coming form the perspective of a child. The edgy and realistic vibe of the move brought me in. One of the best movies that I have seen in a while.

this movie jojo rabbit is smart, Funny and heartfelt throughout the whole movie is funny and clever takia Waititi as hitler was amazing and haillirous. But Jojo Rabbit felt more like a Wes Anderson film then a Taika Waititi movie because the color palet and the production value feels like a Wes Anderson movie. But the performences by the child actors including Roman Griffin Davis were brilliant. I enjoy this film and if your going to watch it then you will have a fun time.

I disagree with all of these positive reviews which suggest a bias in attempts to sync with what’s PC. That’s unfair to the rest of us that are not interested in agendas, we are renting or buying a movie to be entertained, emotionally moved and/or intellectually challenged. This movie delivers on none of these. Good intentions of the subject matter should not equate to automatic positive reviews, all to further an agenda. No, no, no, there are so many wonderful movies on the same subject that deliver in a big way. This one is a swing and a miss. Skip this and please go watch Life Is Beautiful instead, for that movie just might change your heart. JoJo Rabbit left me feeling short changed.

It’s brilliantly funny and moving at the same time. It’s has the right dose of both making it the best 2019 movie for me. Being Polish I usually stay away from WWII movies because I’ve had enough of it at school but Taika’s take on it was so different from what we usually see. I’m really looking forward to whatever he comes up with next

Taikia Waititi brings satire, love and war to a genre we all know and gives us a story with great heart, morals and characters we can all relate to. Hats off!

What the actual heck is wrong with Hollywood!!!!??? HITLER WAS A MONSTER! And everything that he did, was kill innocent people! Men, women, and children, and BABIES!!! He positioned the men, hung the children, shot the women and FED THEIR BABIES TO DOGS! And what’s worse is that many weren’t even Jews. Many were blacks, Christians, and Germans who refused to follow him! I feel sorry for anyone who watches this. Because not only is this disrespectful to the people who died in the war, ITS A HUGE INSULT TO THE JEWS AND ALL THE OTHER FAMILIES WHO SUFFERED UNDER HITLER! I hope this movie burns in hell! And who ever wrote it and directed it, should be ASHAMED! HOW DARE YOU INSULT THESE PEOPLE WITH THIS MOVIE! How would you like it if someone made a movie about your love ones dying, and they praised the ones who killed them???

It’s funny as hell

Just plain silly.

This is a movie that will make you laugh and cry, and it’s something that I will never regret recommending to people.

The cinematography was incredible! I loved the characters as well! Michael Giacchino did great with the music of course, as always. I just don’t understand this plot. I feel like it was supposed to be about the relationship between Elsa and Johannes, but if that’s true, then what a horrible way of doing it. It’s possible it was about how Germans perceived Jews, but... why make a movie about that? Was this movie a comedy or a drama? I don’t think it could decide. There were some very hilarious moments, but others were just... very dark and out of place. I’m not saying it couldn’t be a dramatic comedy, but I don’t think that fits, personally. All-in-all, I don’t get it. Perhaps if I understood it, I may like it better, but I was just very bored.

While there may be some humorous moments in this film, it is not a comedy. It is very sad and can rip your heart out.

it just makes fun of the war and if you have some sort of context about the war then you will not like this movie and the humor won’t make you laugh. If you have not ever experienced or learnt anything about the war then you might like it.

Heartbreaking, funny and powerful. Jojo Rabbit speaks so boldly against hate and prejudice that deserves its best picture nomination. I can’t recommend it enough.

I saw this film in the theatre and admittedly had a hard time with the subject matter at first. However, if one gives it time to tell the story it all makes sense in the end. The main character is portrayed in a masterful fashion by the young actor. You'll also see a few unexpected suprises in supporting cast. Certainly worth watching the film a few times and letting it simmer in your mind.

This was a great movie. It had some bad Nazi propaganda like book burning and kids that were soldiers but there were a lot of funny parts like when Jojo talks with his imaginary friend hitler there are also some sad parts like when his mother dies and the captain ends up sacrificing himself so Jojo has a chance to live. Overall, this was one of the best movies I’ve seen

Was going in expecting just a straight through comedy, but the message behind the movie and the dramatic moments are what made this movie my favorite of 2019.

Premise sounds twisted, certainly irreverent, and a generally and understandably verboten topic.... but was ultimately a story of love and goodness and overcoming evil - and of discretion. Amazing.

This was one of those rare movies that are just perfect! When is it available to buy on iTunes? I keep seeing these junk movies that came out weeks after this one and are already on iTunes. There’s not even an expected date.

It was better than I thought it was going to be

This movie is one of the best of our time and of all time. A young boy creates an imaginary friend in order to support his lonely life. A son and mother finding their way at the end of WW2 when Germany is near surrender. This movie will not only be nominated for many Oscars but will certainly win a lot of them.

Using humor to disarm hate while being heartfelt, and so touching. Can’t wait to own this movie.
