I never had a chance to see it on the theater and I have no idea who is Alita was and I was intrigued by this movie made a little of research she's from a Japanese Manga and decided to purchased never regretted it its truly a fun movie have a remarkably beyond real life alike special effects. Well the guy who directed the film was the one who did the "AVATAR" 2012 I wonder why the visual effects is darn good I was so astonished. This deserves a sequel I would definitely see on the first day.

The story is fluid and keeps you engaged all the way to the end. Character development is superbly done! I haven’t enjoyed a Sci-fi film like this since the Matrix! Battle scenes were armrest grabbers, and had you cheering all the way! PLEASE make the sequel!!!!!!

It just felt that the movie was dragging along and that there was extra unnecessary drama

I thought this Movie would never end. The action was good but the CGI wasn’t that great and the character Alita looked a bit wierd with the CGI. Honestly it felt more like a video-game rather than a movie. One more thing I might add is that the plot was BAD!!! Yeah newsflash people if you have nothing better to then watch this movie. Nuff said.

A movie that takes film making to new dimesions. You can't help but feel for Alita. It's her pure heart coupled with her human faults that make her so appealing. The action is some of the best visually I have ever seen. This is the first time a completley CGI performace captute has been intigrated with a live characters to the point you are unable to tell what is real and what is CGI im much of the movie. She is naive and inocent at the start but through her experiences she grows. She makes mistakes and learns from them. Great charager developement. My favorite movie of the year.

Amazing vfx but mediocre movie that is somewhat entertaining.

Seriously, this might be the best movie of 2019. Alita is one of the most likeable protagonists I've seen in a while. She almost makes you not care about the others (well, except Ido). And man, is the soundtrack phenomenal too thanks to the work of Tom Holkenborg. It is outright disappointing that as of right now a sequel has either been delayed or isn't in the works. I guarantee if a sequel of this were to come out the box office this time would outpace the original just because of how well this release sets up the next one.

This was pretty enjoyable, all told. I liked the action, I enjoyed the acting, I felt the romantic plot wasn't too overwrought and the family angle was really sweet.

And then the movie stopped, without really concluding.

It built toward a climax, it delivered a call to action...

..and then it ended.

Rosa Salazar is the best. Great non-stop storyline.

Very appealing content with nimble and cool fights. Also leaving too many puzzles unresolved. Of which the most intriguing is what happened to Chiren and why?

There is a lot going on in Alita: Battle Angel, probably too much, but the blending in styles of Robert Rodriguez and James Cameron is nothing if not consistently fascinating. Beautiful special effects, great action, and impressive progression of film technology; but also clumsily structured, overlong, and anti-climactic. Check it out, if you like this sort of stuff, it's worth a rental.

Great visual effects! Great fight scenes! Great story! Great acting! Great film!

Really hoping for Battle Angel II: Angel Harder

Its a movie were you get action all through the end, not boring in between like most movies.

Alita: Battle Angel was genetically engineered to please me. I had no idea it was based on a manga from the 1990’s, but that didn’t matter. Alita is a 300 year old cyborg built by an army for battle, but ends up in a trash heap where she’s found by a tinkerer who restores here to full health. I thought I’d find her big eyes creepy, but I was completely won over in no time.

Alita doesn’t save the world, but she does fight for those closest to her. And that’s it. This is Alita’s story, not the story of Earth at war. The best thing about this movie is that the climax is not a twenty minute battle scene, but there is plenty of action. The action is clear and easy to follow.

Two thumbs up.

Alita has become one of my favorite movies, my husband loves it too! Her character development is intense and inspiring. Really hope we get a second movie to continue her story!

Alita was a very relatable character. She isn’t a fake perfect heroine. She has pure humanity and courage. She is no princess. All the CGI is spot on, and there are no glitches or holes in it. It is a wonderfully entertaining movie! I love, love this movie!

My thoughts:

-Many people were dissatisfied with the ending, but many do not know that it is a manga series. You can’t make a whole series into one movie. Personally I believe they ended the movie in a perfect cliffhanger. But I think that maybe the could of called it Alita: Battle Angel: Part is One or something. Hope to see the sequel!

-One thing I think they could of done better is add a bit more backstory. It’s hard sometimes to put together the roles of the many characters. I hope the next movie does this!

-Additionally, Hugo could be developed more. Throughout the movie he switches from leading Alita on to becoming increasingly dependent on her, using her. He could’ve been a more realistic character.

These are not hate thoughts, just what I think. The movie was amazing and I recommend this to anyone!

I loved the story line and graphics. It caught me by surprise when the story was over and there was still so much left. It had me wanting more and I hope we get it.

When you watch this movie, the feeling if it is so special, it doesn’t feel like any movies i’ve watched before, Like EVER!

The Rotten tomatoes and critics are pointless because just look at the audience score!

Best movie I've seen in a long time.

Rotten tomatoes gave an excellent movie like this 60% but they gave a dumpster fire like oceans 8 a 69%. Pls watch this film.

Loved the movie and would really be excited if it turned into a trilogy.

Loved this movie it was a fun ride watching it. All the major plot points were hit, love, inspiration, equality, action, adventure and so forth. If your looking for a popcorm munching flick, this will fit the bill for an evenings entertainment. I hope they do well and make a sequel the setting has a lot of possibilities.

I didn’t hear much about this movie when it came out. So I didn’t actively seek it out to watch although I was interested in it. I watched 3/4 of it on the plane and I immediately bought it and watched the rest of it. I LOVE this movie it has a lot of heart and amazing action!! I’m a fan!!

Movie of the year for me, rotten tomatoes/critics are moronic for not loving this, audience has it right, an absolute instant classic.

I was hoping for a better movie than I have seen from most new releases in the past few years.. And I got it. This has better writing, and even seems to have more technological complexity to the production of the movie than most major label releases of late as well.

PR-The iTunes Extras with this one includes a ton of interesting stuff with backstory elaboration and more.

Alita Battle Angel was not the best Anime movie ever but still there was Something Special about it!

And just ‘cause of that, I made purchase of it.

I loved this movie, it had a lot of everything, comedy, action, drama, backstory building, robots, puppet master, villains and games. I really hope that they come out with a second one, this is worth the money, get it!

I had not read the manga stories. But was intrigued by the write ups and the film trailer. I was not disappointed & hope there are plans for a sequel! It certainly ended with that possibility!

It was slow to start & I wasn’t sure who was good & who was not. The character development was paced just enough for us to grow with the characters as the story unfolded. Great plot, action & acting.

Decided to watch this movie this weekend and WOW! I honestly have no idea why I didn’t see this one in the theater. This movie deserves more credit. Probably my favorite movie of the year so far. Phenomenal story and Interesting plot. As expected from James Cameron, the CGI is outstanding! I highly recommend it to anyone.

Alita is an amazing character full of depth and powerful feminine energy. James Cameron has captured the essence of an incredible female role model while also illustrating the beautiful world in which she exists. I can not recommend this movie enough!!!
