Description

In Sony Pictures Animation's The Star, a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a lovable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become accidental heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.

It’s about time a movie like his was made, something the kids can understand and relate to, and knowing the basics about our King!!

Totally Worth it!

It was a pleasure to have a new Christmas movie that actually spoke to what Christmas is about. It was well done and very young kid friendly

My wife and I went to The Star last night on a whim and came out of the theater wondering how we could get our hands on it! The animation was top drawer, and the acting/voice characters were funny, refreshingly honest, and tender. We loved the music, too. Anti-Christians will hate it because it's so tied to the original story - the one found in the Bible - except for the arrival of the wise men and Herod's search for the infant Jesus. (The producers had those two events happening at the birth and not the year+ after His Birth.) Even Bible students will be pleasantly surprised because the producers stayed so true to the original narrative, and even tossed in some obscure facts and personalities. We're ordering copies for our grandchildren!

Brimming with slapstick humor and moral superiority The Star will brainwash your kids or your money back.

The greatest story ever told of the first Christmas and baby Jesus! Even if your not catholic and don’t celebrate Christmas you should at least go see it for fun!
