I watched Deadpool and it was my first Rated R movie I've ever seen. When I watched it it was enjoyable, funny, inappropriate, and shows flashbacks on how Wade became Deadpool(which was okay). It was so much funnier than Ant-Man and this was one of my Top favorite Superhero movies of all! I recommend this for anyone 13 and up. This was one of the Best movies in the WORLD!!!!!! I just want to see it again with my Dad! People who wrote bad reviews for this incredibly awesome movie are just stupid they obviously never paid any attention to the movie because they obviously don't know anything about Deadpool's character.

I also can't wait to see Deadpool 2!

Deadpool is a hilarious, original, thrill ride. This film having great special effects, a plot filled with dirty romance, and gruesome violence makes Deadpool, Deapool. This film stays true to the comics while being original in the film industry. The originality of the film from it's humor to Reynolds interacting and talking to the audience, makes it a fun and hilarious take on a mercenaries tale of love and destruction. I give this film a 90/100%.

You rent it, hit start. And at about the 15-20 minute mark you're like.. is this for real? Did they actually make this movie. Am I watching what I think I'm watching. You're incredulous. And there are other realities that make you go.. huh? More incredulity.. then you go am I watching the Imitation Game. And Ryan Reynolds is no Ryan Gosling, no Brad Pitt, no Bradly Cooper, no Robert Downey Jr, never will be, he just does not have that thing.

The Green Lantern and now Deadpool. One just plain dumb and the other one just plain disgustingly dumb. If you actually liked this movie then there is something wrong in your life or you are only 12 yrs old and think you are the coolest dude because you got to see this trash and brag about it to other 12 year olds. Mind pollution at its worst.

so many crappy movies get made when one like this comes out that seems to just be a walk in the park for those that put it together. Clever is a word that comes to mind, good casting is another. Acting is above average to great for some of the characters, even the cameo by the Marvel comic guy is good. It will be intersting to see if they make another one, but the first will be tough to beat, but then I guess the good ones always are.

From the action to the story this movie was awesome. I've never really like some these marvel movies but this on i think really outshines every movie i've seen. This was a great production from marvels and warner bros this is a awesome film that they brought to us.

I bought it and erased it not because it was bad, but because my kids 5 and 7 want to see it so bad. Of course as any good parent, i also lock my itunes with a parental password, but the the movie cover is just too tempting to not want to click and try to guess the password. So, I just erased it from my library. Anyway, long story short... I know they aren't going to release a PG13 version, but they really really need to. They could do this in many creative ways. Alas, they won't. Anyway, this is a good goofy movie, just sad it doesn't belong in my library (and many people's for that matter).

If you dont like this movie you are most likely a grumpy person who walks through life with their nose in the air and their bottom lip poked out. The movie is super funny. Great action.

This movie is great. Ryan Reynolds is hilarious and the movie is filled with broken film-making rules in the best way. This is the definition of an anti-hero film. How anybody is giving this movie one star or a bad review is beyond my understanding. This kind of violence and comedy is not for everyone but its far from stupid or "teenager" like.

Loved everything about this gem!

It was boring and repetitive -- the same thing over and over. This is the story of a jerk who became a bigger jerk when he got "super powers". Nobody deserves to have to sit through this.

I thought maybe the previews had shown all the funny parts, but there were a ton more in the movie.

Epic rendition of the comic. Pure fun for the adult kid in us all. Not so much fun for moms with small children. Or is it?

The combat cgi stuff is fun to watch, although obviously unrealistic -- similar to all modern movies of this genre. Backstory is thin and unsatisfying. Love story is ruined by sex story. Reynolds' bizarre, sarcastic patter is an acquired taste, either you like it our you don't. I chuckled a few times, but spent most of the time rolling my eyes or groaning -- like being back in a Jr. High locker room.

This movie in my opinion as a long Deadpool fan was a great idea and very well done. When i heard this was coming out i was super hyped for this moving expecting a lot and getting exactly what I wanted, this is how you make Deadpool movie... It portrays him very very well and the fourth wall breaks were hilarious... Now for the people who say the movie is bad because it is crude well u guys DO NOT KNOW DEADPOOL... U can't go into a Deadpool movie without expecting inappropriate thingss...And Waaaaaaayyyyy better than the Green Lantern ;-)

Everytime i've been forced to marvel movies i wasn't crazy about them. Until I went and saw this movie I was blown away!!!!!! Ryan Reynolds is the best!!!! This movie was hilarious and was definitely action packed!!!!! Already saw it 3 times already and still want to keep watching it!!!!!! That's how good this movie really is!!!!! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!!!!!! If you don't like marvel movies I gurantee you that this is the exception!!!!!!!!!

Very funny movie

I didn't see it when it came out in theaters, but decided to rent it. What a mistake of not seeing it on the big screen. Reynolds definitely nails this one. Adult humor and great fight scenes. Not for kids though so warning ya why it's "R" rated.

What's dumb is people expect the movie to go off of the comic but it's not all the time and deal with it. Be happy that they made the movie bc the didn't half to.

Funniest movie

This movie is not perfect. But is it close? Hell yes! Not only was this the funniest superhero movie of all time, but Ryan Reynolds provided the Deadpool we deserved to see on the big screen in X-men:Origins. The funny part is, this movie didn't even need a good plot, or villain to be considered pure awesomeness!

Snarky... violent... R rated etc. All of that was fine. But I found I just didn't like the character that much. Part of what I like about super hero films is the hero part. This guy is basically a 13 year old boy who goes around and kills alot of people. I watched it once and just didnt have a desire to watch it again.

I was told by multiple people to see this movie. Never been a Ryan fan because I never found him funny. So I decided to go against all of that and still check it out. I found it to be slow and I even dozed off a few times trying to watch it. I recommend not renting it and just waiting for it to come on the movie channels. Not worth the money.

It is about time we are seeing a down to earth comedy from the Marvel universe. Has to be one of the most enjoyable films in 2016. The sarcastic attitude from the main character is down right amusing. Might not be a good film for the younglings, but it is sure to please the 15+ crowd. Decent storyline and sheer ignorance of Dead Pools goals had me rolling the entire time. I sense clowns!

While Deadpool has entertaining highlights, the least of which being Ryan Reynold's fine performance, the film serves no purpose other than to be violent just for violence's sake. It is a gross voyeuristic comic snuff film.

This movie has zero plot, could have easily been more entertaining as a 15min short film. Ryan Reynolds has a great wit, but this movie was a waste of his talent. I give it one star and that’s still being too kind.

So, the idea is that Deadpool is taking his revenge on some guy because that guy made him suffer. OK, that part is clear, but when did the film completely lose its sense of proportion? That guy actually saved Wade’s life, and Wade’s suffering was a necessary part of that. But if that’s not enough of a problem, what about the 30-40 people Deadpool kills along the way? They don’t deserve their own revenge? Is that because non of them is the hero of the film? Am I just seeing everything differently to everyone? Anyway, the film seemed to be filled with a lot of disproportionate acts of callous revenge which I found a bit too close for comfort to the problems we face in the world right now.

No... I am not offended by bad language or sex and I've watched my share of slasher movies, BUT... This movie is the worst garbage I've seen in years. It was not funny at all, the sex scene was irrelevant, the gore had no reason or intention and the constant blabbering of what's supposed to be funny from Deadpools mouth was annoying as hell. This movie is garbage in every way. I'd rather watch a lifetime movie!

Deadpool is a perfect example of "humor" being catered to the ever increasing laziness of the culture to consume depraivity and filth over comical wit and intelligent observation. The comics introduced him (back in the day) with wit and originality but the new movie version is just unforgivably gross and unecessary assuming that being "offensive" is somehow fun. It was OK, but we should have exspected better.

I would have given this movie 5 stars, but the inclusion of or hints of bi-sexuality (relative to the hero) and being screwed in the butt by the hero's girlfriend was a turn-off. Somebody or some group in Hollywood is assuming or mis-assuming that the aforementioned behavior is "main-stream" or desirable by many. However, I am repulsed by it; and, I feel that the dipiction of this type of behavior really belongs in the LGBT quadrant--for those who have common interests. This movie is not for children. Also, it is rather violent and arrogant. However, the special-effects and cinematography were excellent.

before I saw this movie a friend let me read one of the comics. i thought this is kind of funny then i went and saw it. I didnt think the whole movie would be all vulgar stupid teenager in you pants jokes. I was so stunned that i sat threw it all. after it was over i felt nothing. except my wallet was now fourteen dollers less heavy.

My mother once told me that the best books and movies make you happy and sad, they make you want to laugh and cry. I would never have expected a movie like Deadpool to so completely fulfill such criteria, especially one that so thoroughly earns its 'R' rating (Not for kids! Seriously!). I was laughing right from the start of the opening credits, hitting all four points repeatedly all the way through. I'm extremely stingy with 5-star ratings, but this movie fully earned it.

The superhero bit has been drained so dry it’s subatomic particles of dust… Deadpool is not that same old, dum dum drum line movie. Is it new, no, is it fresh, no, but it’s different enough to stop being PG-13 politically correct horse droppings. The acting was on par, the story was ho hum as all of these origin movies tend to be, but the way it played out was super entertaining and at no point did I look out into the theater and cringe at the thought of an 8 year old watching this… finally a Marvel movie that has an R rating. I’ll gladly watch this movie again, and will certainly buy it when it comes out.

Considering that this is the superhero movie that was never supposed ot be made, and done so with a fraction of the budget that most other superhero movies enjoy (Deadpool's budget was around 50 mil, while Green Lantern's was 200 mil), this movie is an incredible achievement. It is hysterical, fast-paced, interesting, and just highly enjoyable. And with this success, the sequel is bound to have a budget worthy of its fan base. Easily one of my top 3 favorite superhero movies, and a definite must-see for fans (over 17 of course).

Deadpool is portrayed EXACTLY as he should be. He is the Anti-Hero. Non stop dick jokes gore and action. With a very light story line. The origin story and flash backs are timed so well and done amazing. I loved every second and laughed constantly.

Whether Deadpool is a superhero or antihero. This is by far the best one ever made besides The Dark Knight. The trailer just scratches the surface of what's coming!! It's so funny! Take away all the jokes, vulgarness, and disgusting stuff, it's still a good movie!! The story itself is great!! This is a 10/10!!!!

I don’t know if I can adequately describe the experience of watching Deadpool for the first time. I suppose the first time you stop feeling guilty about smoking pot is comparable.

Love this movie! Maybe my favorite superhero movie. The action was fast, fun, & funny. Deadpool vs Collosus! So many funny moments. Even the opening credits AND the end credits are hilarious. This is one of the funniest movies I've seen & it's an action movie / horror movie / romance.

I don't recall laughing so much so often at any movie! The constant humor and action is amazing, and really true to the character! Adults only, though!
