Excellent Movie! Keeps you on the edge of your seat,You won't fall asleep!

Very cool movie. I like all the Mad Max movies, Beyond Thunderdome being my favorite, but this one was awesome too. Its imagintive and entertaining, and visually its incredible. I think its an enormous acheivement for Goerge Miller..to make four good Mad Max movies in a row is impressive. For me, Fury Road is one of those movies I can watch over and over again and I never get tired of it. Goerge Miller is indeed a very talented director.

It drags in section, but the cinematography is great...If I had to summate the experience, it's a lot of style over substance.

Don't get me wrong, there is some soul to the film, but it's not a revolution in story-telling. It just 'looks' like a great film.

I was one of those that thought this movie was way overrated...then something clicked as I was drawned into the world. Putting things into perspective for these characters really gave this movie new life for me. Only drawback may be that Max isn't the focal point of the movie, but in reality, it's about everyone and their way of life. How to survive. Can't wait for a sequel (if they do).

But it was perfect! Rich characters, rich story and a vibrant mythology. If you work around cars like I do, it's super quaotable. The Immortan Joe is an absolute tyrant, and Furiosa is an absolute BA. The only thing is that it's too much to watch on an iPod screen...

Best movie I've ever seen. It's full of action and the plot was just incredible. Kudos to the cast and crew, the music and editing was astonishing. Watching it in 3D really makes you enjoy the full experience. Charlize Theron was the cherry on top.

This is literally the best movie of all time

Meh, kinda stupid at times

To include the Black and Crome edition as part of the original purchase of the film & not make us have to pay for a separate movie. (Still buying it again on a blu ray copy though lol) it's a great film, action filled with great scenes captured on sight with little to no cgi, it's an instant classic of our modern times that will stand the test of time for years to come. If you don't own it buy it.

So many studios are double dipping on their customers by adding extras and content for the same movie, walling it off and punishing those that bought the a movie early. Not this.

I thought I would watch this movie given that I saw the original with Tina Turner and Mel Gilbson...it was a stupid movie back then...I thought it was just as bad in the re-make. I'm not sure why people would give this 5 stars...seriously...this movie was just as BAD as the original. Plotless...pointless...

I am not a huge fan of R Rated movies, as they just aren't normally my thing, but I was completely blown away by an inspiring and empowering story accompanied by one of the most amazing soundtracks I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. This move does have its moments of graphic violence, which is to be expected, but it had way less violence than I was expecting. However if you can get past that, I think you will very much enjoy this movie.

Probably one of the worst movies made in the last ten years... I see why its $10 or less... don't waste your money on this trash..... can I get my money back?

I hated the movie. The plot was awful and all they did was drive cars in the dessert. There was barely any dialogue and it was confusing. When furiosa was about to die I didn't care because we never really got to know anything about the characters or the stories.

Since I saw that this movie earned a lot of Oscars, I figured I'd check it out. Mad Max is an action-packed movie full of violence and suspense. If you are looking for an action movie to watch, this is it.

George Miller really proved himself this time with this outstanding movie. Even though Max probably has a total number of 10 lines in the movie Tom Hardy really was the stand out in this movie. Its actions scenes blended beautiful, crazy and awesome all in one punch. Charlize Theron really did an amazing job at showing a strong female character.

This movie offers no intellectual thought to ponder. It is void of any substance it is senseless violence at its worst.

Compelling and fantastic movie. At first it took time to adjust to the film but subsequent views made the movie that much better! It now holds my 'favorite film of all time' title.

It is exactly what it is suppose to be

I kept asking myself why with so much of this movie. so many impractical or downright bizarre aspects. what is the benefit of putting a guitarist un protected on a plank as you roll into battle? what is the reason for the religious devotion to this dictator? what's the deal with the other factions or settlements? why are there so few nonwhites?

this movie seems to be garnering so much acclaim simply because it was beautifully shot and used real stunts. but the most important reason is the brand of white females empowerment that white women eat up and the confirmation of white female standards of beauty. the movie quite aggressively pushes the idea of white women as highly sought after and pure. this movie is problematic in so many ways.

Why is this movie only available for purchase when it's airing on cable with no fee other than the subscription. As a consumer I find this extremely annoying as I travel often and enjoy watching movies of my choice while I fly.

I really just don't understand and view this as a way Apple chooses to add to the BILLIONS already in the bank. I'm an Apple fan but this business approach is contrary to your culture and the public image.

Heavy on action, light on plot. Standard fair.

Arghhh I Loved so much of this movie. Definitely worthy of 5 stars but the ending was a little disappointing. They should have elaborated more, and most of the army cars were squatting unrealistically not attacking their target, not that I didn’t want our main characters to live but… That’s why the Matrix was so good because it was so unreal that it made it feasible.. no one here had special powers per say so.. why did they stop attacking them again? Anyway amazing job! Tom Hardy was good, but it’s hard to match Charlize Theron’s seasoned acting skills.

This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I cannot believe the positive reviews that this movie has received. The studio must have coordinated having it's employees and their friends and family members to write positive reviews. I did not like any of the main characters. I was not sympathetic to any of the main characters. The story line was ridiculous. The action scenes were stupid. For this movie to have a received a 'best picture' nomination is unbelievably ridiculous.

OMG. Good effects, but stupid beyond belief. Watching Charlize is only reason I made it through this, barely.

The plot was terrible. I thought this would be a great movie from all the good reviews so I bought it. Me and a friend watched it and he laughed at me for buying it. It's that bad. There is really no story at all and the acting is not very good either.

Great action, but the car chase and the dialogue was way too much. Could have cut have the movie and still stayed on plot.

I was very disappointed in this movie. Maybe it was way to bizarre or I should have been on L S D to appreciate it. The speed up and slow down chase scenes we awful. I thought something was wrong with iTunes. I understand this was intentional by the director, but my 5 year old could have done better. Chase scenes were well done, until the artificial speed up. I have seen many people post the acting was great. I could not understand some of the mumbling that by the actors. The lack of water was done better in Rango. Water coming out of a tall rock from where???? Spraying paint on your face or shocking yourself or what the heck were they doing? I wish I had not purchased this movie.

George Miller took the final chase scene from The Road Warrior and turned it into a two hour steroids-enhanced action movie. It was definitely more of a reboot than a sequel and I think I would have liked it more if I was a 14 year old boy and not a 35 year old man with comprehension skills. It had no plot (well, it did if you consider "run away from the bad guys and defend yourself when they attack you" a plot). The main antagonist never did anything bad so there was no reason for the characters fleeing from him to run. Now to Max: the black interceptor is driven by Max very briefly in the beginning and then shows up later being driven by bad guys. In total it was only on screen for 5 minutes tops. That is a HUGE disappointment for us fans of the first 2 films because I'm sure we all wanted to see Max driving the car he is most famous for driving. Another problem was it didn't seem like Max had an Australian accent and most of the main actors in this movie didn't either. That shouldn't be considering the Mad Max trilogy put Australian cinema on the map. Compared to the first 3 films this movie was hitting the audience over the head with Jesus symbolism. I'm not sure why they wanted to make sure viewers saw Max as a Christ figure, but it was even more obvious than the original RoboCop. Our first glimpse of Max shows him with long hair and a beard, later he is strapped to a cross-like post on the front of a car, and then they really drive it home when he gets an arrow shot through his hand and into his forehead to symbolize two of Christ's wounds. Also there were waaaay too many guns. Guns were precious commodities in The Road Warrior and were used sparingly. Fury Road was like a gun fight on a highway: machine guns, uzis, sniper rifles, you name it and it was most likely in it. One thing that confused me was Furiosa said she was looking for redemption but she never mentioned what she did that made her feel like she needed it. Weak! Overall little plot and little character development made it just another mindless action movie. Would have been a million times better if Mel Gibson was in it, but obviously he is old now so I can understand why they wanted a younger actor. By far the biggest disappointment was the black interceptor having such little screen time. If Miller decides to make another one of these hopefully it will feature "the last of the V8's" more as well as include appearances of the yellow interceptor and pursuit vehicles. This could happen in a prequel to the original Mad Max or in a new movie that takes place between the first two films, showing mankind's regression to the conditions shown in The Road Warrior. Either would be quite interesting.

Perhaps this movie and the ratings is a sign of how terrible our society has become. i bought the movie, based on the ratings, without even viewing the trailer (usually spoilers) Never again.

This movie is not worth your time... You will never get the time back!

This is the movie you want if you get bored of senseless violence and explosion packed action movies, but that doesn't mean it's lacking in action and violence. This movie is full of subtext and meta text that is super fun to analyze, with a deep philosophical message, but, it's not thrown at the audience like most other messages, that's why a lot of people are saying "it's bland and boring" it's not bland, it's subtle, which is ironic because this movie involves a flamethrower wielding psychotic riding on a truck covered in amps. A lot of people are complaining this movie is pretty much only a long chase scene, which is actually kinda true, but while other movies use explosions and action to keep their chase scenes exciting, mad max knows that can only last a few minutes, and so a lot of world building, subtle exposition, and character arcs happen during this chase scene, this movie is amazing and literally the first movie I've ever seen and immediately wanted to buy when it came out.

If you are going to remake Mad Max, shouldn’t Mad Max be the main character?? It’s all about Furiosa (Theron). I will give it credit for all the action packed scenes, but beyond action, it fell very short. I found myself asking “what the heck is going on?” through the whole movie. NO STORY LINE AT ALL!! For those of you interested in a LONG car chase in the desert, then this is your movie. For those of us who have a few brain cells, don’t bother! It’s that bad!

This movie was boring and unexciting with s terrible plot, even if the majority of the action was real. Even the worst James Bond movie from the past 50 years still had a better plot and action than this garbage. You would think that as filmmakers that plots would be intricate and the action would be riveting, but I guess that the average movie goer nowadays just sees pretty colors and boring action and thinks that it's the greatest thing ever.

I bought this movie because of all the hype and great reviews on iTunes but I found this movie to be average. Mad Max beyond the thunderdome was the best. Also, the main actor could hardly even speak or act. He was better as Bane in the Dark Knight movie.

Overall, I wish I rented this movie instead of paying $19. Will I watch it again because I bought it, yeah in about a year when I'll forget how average it was. Oh well, win some, lose some and some are average.

By far one of ur best movies I have seen in a while

I think may be one of the best productions that came out this year. Technically, this movie is fantastic. The story isn't weak. Action is basically non-stop designed to be (in my opinion) agitating for the viewer in order to keep them engaged with the characters and their survival. When I left the theater after Apocalypto, I felt tired. Fatigued because I was drawn into the story through the characters and was riveted the entire time. Mad Max left me feeling the same exact way.

Not exactly the best date movie, but a fantastic epic action ride from the opening scene to the end!

The newest installment on the mad max series has definitely brought people on their knees wanting to watch after about 20 years of waiting

Who could have seen it coming? You could have known that Mad Max:Fury Road would be so incredible, so stylish, so cartoonish yet grounded in reality, so violent yet so sweet. Not me, certainly. George Miller comes back to R-rated filming with a roar, encore. This movie is all about the details, even the smallest things, like a gas pedal that was originally used to measure feet at a shoe store. The action isn’t shaky cam, no, this is absolutely no Alex Cross, the shots are wide, and capture the destruction with a makeshift and practical feel.

An incredible pulp film that works its way into the list of the best action movies ever made.

Mad Max: Fury Road Miller has taken one of my all time favorite movies, Mad Max 2 (aka The Road Warrior), and made another. He, the crew, and the cast really have outdone themselves. I was seriously concerned when I heard they were finally pulling this movie together, but that fear quickly dwindled once the trailers hit. From the very first scene this high octane adventure is off and barely slows enough, for the next two hours, to allow one to catch their breath. It is a seriously mad ride through the Wasteland filled with the excitement, degradation, and horrors of a post-apocalyptic world.

Hardy did the role of Mad Max an honor. I’m not sure why some are so concerned about his role in the movie. Max is a quiet and subdued character; often the observer. Gibson only had 16 lines in Mad Max 2, and Hardy really pulled off that reserved character very well. Theron and Hoult were absolutely fantastic in their roles; both of which characters bring this mad adventure to full life. The return of Keyes-Byrne to the series was an excellent call. His role as Immortan Joe, overlord of the Wasteland, is powerful, frightening, and particularly deplorable. To be honest though the entire cast was excellent to say the least!

I fully recommend a viewing of this movie. Miller did us well.

This movie was worth the price of admission. Totally blown away by the adrenaline and heart pounding action. I'm tired of CGI superhero movies with fake computer looking animation. This movie is truly an action master piece. Shot with real live stunts. This movie will be talked about for many years to come, where else movies like Pitch Perfect 2 will be forgetten by summers end.

Flat out one of the most entertaining movies ive seen all year! Actually prefer this over the Avengers!

Best film I've seen in a while

This is what an action movie should be, because the whole time in that theatre i was wonder what could happen next. George Miller delivered ,but I wish he could have put more of story on Max. Charlize and Nicholas Hoult were great. You wont be bored watching this movies, that i can promise.

This movie is an incredible action film. The cinematography was great, the acting was superb, and all the elements of this movie work. It is worth seeing in 3D for sure and worth seeing more than once.

Remember that name because despite the title of the movie, this is her movie. Jaw-dropping action that will keep you on the edge of your movie theater. Storyline that is doesn’t have so much fuss. Simple but direct to the point. In times like these where going to the movies are quite expensive now, I’d go back and watch this again. Worth.every.hard-earned dollar.

I don't typically watch action movies as the majority tend to bore me :/ (sorry to all those action fans out there). I am shocked yet proud to say that Mad Max is the first action movie that I would re-watch. The effects and music score were spot-on, enhancing the scenes. Tom and Charlize were brilliant actors in this movie. Though they didn't speak too much, they managed to convey every poignant emotion with their eyes and actions. Though Mad Max is a loner he really does care about people, as shown when Furiosa gets injured. They learned how to depend on each other for survival, and Tom is such an amazing actor. A job fantastically well done.

The movie is great and filled with riveting action. It's definitely not for the faint of heart as there's not a moment that goes by without exhilarating action. Adrenaline junkies as well as those familiar with the Mel Gibson films will love it. Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron were great in the film and really delved into the characters. The rest of the supporting cast complemented the overall quality of the film. I hope they make more sequels soon!

I have to think Action movies are making a turn for the better for movies that you thought would be awful just by the trailers, in the last year we have had some great surprises. Edge of Tomorrow, John Wick, and now Mad Max: Fury Road! I have seen this movie twice within a week of it being in theatre's. I saw it once in 2D then once in 3D. I honestly thought the 2D was better and if the film had been made originally in 3D then that would have been better. Without watching it in 3D it became a non-stop action extravaganza with a killer soundtrack and surprise quiet moments to breathe. Charlize Theron is a great strong female as Furiosa that Max has to help out. George Miller is a master director, shooting this beautifully and still making it possible to follow every action shot without confusion. There is not one character in this film to dislike and as crazy as this whole world seems, it is, there is not one moment you question when the movie begins what is taking place. If your looking for a fun time and not wanting to think, this is great! But if you also want to look deeper, this movie has a lot of heart where you least expect it. Check it out not once but 10 times and enjoy!

This movie defiantly deserved a 98% on the rotten tomatoes. It was amazing! Special effects and makeup look real and noteworthy. Acting is amazing, and they didn’t stray to far from the other Mad Max plots. Amazing and a must watch movie.

Everyone keeps saying this is the best action movie in years, but in reality it's just as bland and average as every other pretty looking movie with no substance. Now I wouldn't go as far to call this a bad movie, but it not a masterpiece or original by any means. Fury Road is literally a 2 hour long car chase in the desert. The storyline is paper thin and incoherent most of the time. The movie looks amazing and is beautifully filmed, but after the first hour it got repetitive and boring.

Saw this the Second Day, Action from start to Finish, An addicting adrenaline Rush. A Want to See Over and Over again. A Beautifull Spectacular Perfect Action Blast what you want kind of Film.

Loved it

I was expecting to be amazed considering how great the reviews have been. It was just ok, I wasn't wowed or impressed by anything in particular. Don't get me wrong it was good... but after 25 years of watching action movies it is going to take more than what i saw to impress me. Mad max drives to the end of the desert just to team up with some grannies and head back to where he escaped from lol. Happy ending then the end.

Director George Miller has created the perfect action movie. Mad Max: Fury Road is a Masterpiece. 5/5

Incredible action and exquisitely engaging from beginning to end. Each scene and picture captured like a photograph. Tom Hardy is so hot and Charlize performed with gut. One of the best movies I've seen in 2015! Keep more Mad Max coming...

Like a world without water, Mad Max: Fury Road distills the action movie down to its elemental essence. Don’t look for lengthy voice-overs, wordy exposition or much dialog at all here. It’s kinetic, frenetic and visually poetic. George Miller extends the Mad Max dystopia to places only a feminist hero shall go. Amazing stunts, glorious visuals and an exhilarating sound mix takes us along for the ride.

This is one of those movies that grabs you from beginning to end and keep you at the edge of your seat.. One of the GREATEST action movies Of All Time..

First question- how in the world did an action packed blow-em-up movie get a 98% rating by Rotten Tomatoes? Answer: they are rating this because the female lead is the dominant character, and they see this as a "feminist movie”. Charlese is great and I’m glad I went and saw it- THIS IS HER MOVIE- but buyer beware- Max is just along for the ride. When he fades into the throng at the end, you won’t find yourself wondering “what’s next”, because his character is too poorly developed. I did enjoy the 20 lines he had throughout the entire movie… no… I’m exaggerating- he had 20 words- at least it seemed that way. I rate 4 out of 5 because it is a great deal of fun, the musical score is excellent, and the action sequences are second to none… but the script has little heart.

my 6 year old son was so into it and me too…. when you watch a movie and quickly go to pre order it means something because its the first time I do it.

If you love the last 3 mad max then this adrenalin fueled, lawless no holds barred 90mph thrill ride is for you!

Forget The Avengers, and Fast 7. This is the movie of the summer, no joke. Hasn't been something this cool since The Matrix. Worthy of my first Pre-Order, which is a totally dumb thing for a person to do.

Mad Max Fury Road is an incredible, intense, action packed flick. The movie wouldn't end and I didn't want it to. The soundtrack is breathless. The action is outstanding. The special effects were spectacular. The actors were perfect. This movie is an epic ride that everybody should take a look at. 10/10

Just saw this an hour or so ago in 3D. Was its first public showing. Audience loved it. Lots of gasps throughout and clapping at the end. Pure adrenaline. Virtually non stop hyper-kinetic action. Pure escapism. Won't win an Oscar for best picture but it's pure unadulterated fun. Some crazy stunts and visuals. A must have for action fans and a great addition to the post apocalyptic genre. George Miller demonstrated an old dog has everything you need to create magic. My wife held my hand so tight I may have bruises.

Park your brain and engage your inner kid and you will have a blast.
