I really don't get why you would hate such a heartfelt story of overcoming the challenge of a mother-daughter quarrel and turning it into a meaningful relationship. Merida is NOT annoying as you say and this moving should NOT be rated PG.

Other people might have difficulty understanding why I love this movie so much, but I'm sure people with a heart and brain will.

When I saw this movie, it gave me nightmares for A WEEK!!! mordu was probably the scariest part. I’m pretty much sure you could watch a different Pixar movie, y’know, monsters inc or something, you always have to watch brave, it’s the worst ever. This movie had a LOT OF SCARY IMAGES, it should not be viewed by children. A lot of inappropriate woman scenes.

Dear parents, please: do not let your kids watch this nasty movie.

This was when original ideas were happening in Pixar!:) Unlike the original films they’re making today and in the future “Brave” is one of their most memorable movies! I love this movie! love the characters! I love the story! This is an underrated masterpiece that I highly recommend! P.S I like this more than “Frozen”!

It doesn’t make any sense that Brave is by Pixar I wanted brave to be by Walt Disney animation Studios I wanted it to Be a good movie but when I saw it and I was like eight years old it was awful back in 2012

I just wonder why there are tall stones in a circle in the movie it's just confusing to me I mean what's so special about them?

Beginning whenthat bad bear comes he has no scar but when the king strikes him I think that's when he got that scar.

And and chomped The kings Leg off!!! I love how the boys act with the dumplings ha ha where on earth did I get that win the Kings leg is chopped off.

But if you don't want to get this it is not on Netflix but it is on direct TV.

So watch this movie or get it I would get it on DIRECTV.

Brave is seen as the black sheep of Pixar’s catalo of works alongside Cars for valid (enough) reasons. The plot is a bit flimsy in terms of scale and substance, the middle feels rushed and the ending’s reliance on a convenience to set up the resolution is hardly admirable.

But in spite of my being narratively pedantic, it’s still one of my favorite Pixar movies.

As a Scotsphile and staunch individualist, seeing two of my favorite interests combined in Brave was a sight for sore eyes, and no character symbolized that medley more palpably than Merida.

From her noteworthy mien to her fiery disposition, Merida carried the film single-handedly with her individualism and set yet another high bar for Disney princesses. Her reconciliation of her personal identity and familial ties, however, ensured that the thematic balance between self-reliance and communalism was maintained.

I seldom purchase films on iTunes, but this one’s the exception. The industry could use more colorful, energetic individualists.

I hate this movie

I have long curly red hair and blue eyes, I also have the same skin tone and basic height and body shape as Merida. Some of my teachers call me Merida, and I can’t walk through a toy store without one little girl telling her mom, “Look mommy! It’s Brave!” THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!! Now nobody calls me Dorothy or Ariel!! I don’t look like them, so that’s cool! Great movie! Merida is such an awesome character, she is also a total feminist!! LOVED IT!!!!

It is not your typical Disney movie where you have the prince saving you. The movie is about the princess finding herself threw trying to save her mother.

I love Pixar. Have since I first saw one of their shorts at a Festival of Animation. I was proud to be working for SiliconGraphics when they used our hardware to create their characters. I own all their films and have watched them multiple times.

Except this one.

Cars is bad, yes, but at least one can see why a kid would enjoy it. This? Not even that, as the evil bear is simply terrifying. I could go on at length about how Merida really only creates her own mess, how there's way too many deux ex machinas (wisps ex machina?), and so on, but for me it's all summed up simply: I went in expecting a Scottish history Pixar movie, and got a mildly-feminist remake of Brother Bear instead. I didn't sign up for Brother Bear II: The Daughtering, Pixar.

Let's hope this was just a temporary aberration. Although Monster's University makes me wonder.

This is one of my favorite Pixar movies. It deserves 5 stars on iTunes. I love the story and the 🎶 in the film. Never before has there been a mother daughter movie like this. I have watched this countless times with my daughter and we love it.

This movie is great, and fun. I love this movie a lot. I love all of the characters in this movie. Merideth is my favorite character in this movie. I love how Merideth stands up for herself in this movie and it is one of my favorite movies ever.

Name one thing that was brave about this movie, other than Disney Pixar taking a chance on this zero plot movie. I felt no emotion other than being annoyed. Merida is just a whiny feminist who I wished would get eaten by a bear. This movie is proof that Pixar can make a bad movie if they wanted too.

Brave was a mess. She really wasn't brave Merida was ignorant most of the movie. It is one of Pixar's worst. I managed to get a kick out of the comedy but that's now why we love Pixar. Laughter is only one of the things you needs for a good Pixar movie l

Brave is one of Pixar’s best animated films in a really long time! The plot is good, it's funny at times, and the music is amazing. Pixar does a really good job not making their movies too dark or violent. I have not seen one Pixar movie that had a villain who was dark or creepy like some of the Disney villains you see in some of the hand drawn Disney cartoons. Pixar has done it again with this movie! Great Pixar film along with Toy Story!

For brave haters and parents it's NOT the worst disney pixar movie ever I have not seen it but I think it's good never say brave is worst pixar movie ever SO SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!

I've watched this a million times and still cry. A true depiction as to the struggles of a kid/teen to understand why their parents make them do things. We've all been there struggling to find our way and be who we are when our parents are trying to guide us in the way that they think best. Valuable lessons, and the happy ending that one would hope that each family would arrive at.

The whole family absolutely loved it. The first time we saw it in the movie theater and the kids wanted to see it again the next day. Definitely worth buying.

First things first, I want you to forget my nickname, "Your Secret Hater". I messed it up. But I prefer "ILive4<><". So, not to be rude, but I really don't like the movie Brave. I'm not a big fan of magic, and the storyline wasn't very good. I was sad 'cause the music and scenery were very beautiful! But to curse your mother?!! Excuse me, but who would want to curse there mother besides some maniac? Even the Bible says it is very wrong to curse your parents (I can't really remember exactly where that is in the Bible). All of my friends don't like it much, so I suggest not to watch this movie and waist your money. Pixar, if you could do another movie with Scotland, then please no cursing people or naked jokes or magic throughout the whole movie. If you could do this, I would be most grateful. Disney show ever.

Well worth the money!!

WOW What a beautiful story and movie loved it

I absoultly love the songs in here. It reminds me of my scottish heratige. (please excuse the spelling mistakes) It pulls a close 3rd in my top 10 favroite movies, with Frozen being 2nd and Big Hero 6 the first. I just love listning to Touch the Sky when I go for a run, or Maiden Young and Fair when Im relaxing in my room.

This has to be hands down the best Disney Pixar movie ever made. it made me relize how much I love my mom and the rest of my family.

One of the best Princess movies, girls will never forget the message: You dont have to find love when you dont want to. (or something like that)

The plot was amazing. The song were incredable. The movie all in all, in amazing/.

I like Brave but some things in the movie could be scary for little children.

Animation is top notch and story is secondary, as is all of the Pixar films. This one feels more like Disney than Pixar as it has a fairy tale plot involving a princess. All the characters are way too extreme and the ending didn’t fit the story very well. Side gags are few but done well. Still worth renting.

Brave a funny and original heart warming movie.it also shows lots of true drama that a tean princess craving ADVENTURE and FREEDOM may have had.Brave also has much magic. It's no toy story but still a decent film

This movie wasn't horrible, or even that bad. The animation is truly gorgeous, especially on Merida's hair. And there are a couple nice Scottish songs thrown in there. But otherwise, the movie is not very memorable or interesting. Pixar tried to create a strong, independent female lead, but instead we ended up with a whiny, obnoxious brat who gives her mother a cake without knowing what it will do to her and how long it will last. The male characters are all brainless buffoons who are simply there for comic relief. Queen Elinor is the easily best character in the movie and is interesting and compelling from the very first scene she's in, yet she spends most of her screen time as a bear and cannot speak. How are she and Merida supposed to learn to communicate better if the mother cannot communicate at all? The pacing of the movie felt really rushed and the ending sort of thrown together. Like I said before, this movie is not horrible, but the animation and the soundtrack are its only saving graces. It disappoints me because I know Pixar can do so much better. I hope they try to do another Princess movie again, but this time with a stronger cast of characters and an actual plot to speak of.

I loved this movie i watched it again and again the first time i saw it my sister loves it my dad loves it i don't know any one that hates it (in person like family and stuff)

When I first saw Brave I thought it looked okay, you know just another Disney princess movie but I was wrong! Disney has embedded this message in young girls heads that you need a man to be happy but has challenged that message before with Mulan and Pocahontas, but in Brave it gives it all new light! I adored Merida, the animation was BEAUTIFUL and the music was incredible. I loved all the characters and I loved the plot. It deserves 100 stars and is just an amazing Disney film.

It's defiantly not Pixar's best, but it's still a good one and I did enjoy it. I think this should've been part of Disney instead of Pixar(technically it is part of Disney)

The story of "Brave" - the Scottish princess that wanted to change her fate is true and honest story of mother love and young girl desire for freedom without count for the consequences.

It has great atmosphere and spirit. It has wisdom and real feelings. It is worth watching again and again, and then again some more.

Pixar delivers. It has GOOD animation. To put it mildly.

Watch it, own it. 5 stars.

How come you can't rent this movie?

Frozen is way better

Watching it again and again, I never seem to get tired of it :)

Plus, the graphics are really vivid and contribute to the liveliness of the film. I usually buy SD versions, but this time around it was worth paying five extra dollars.
