I am 13 and just watched this movie. First of all, it was insane!! I freaked when I saw it I loved it so much! I was hanging with my older brother and we turned it on with some homemade "butter beer"πŸ˜€ and watched this. The magic was so great and the romance was better. I loved the idea and Hermione and Ron getting together when I saw them. Opposites really attract!! It's a must watch!!

We've been with Harry from the very beginning and now we must depart the Magical world of J.K. Rowling, but if leave we must let us do so with a bang! This film was everything that I could've wanted to be! I have been more than satisfied with this journey and am darned proud of the producers work all along the way! For all of those Hufflepuffs out there...expecto patronum!

It's nearing a decade since the franchise came to an end, but I can still watch every film and feel as though it's the first time I've seen it.
'Deathly Hallows: Part II' gracefully brings the greatest story of all time to a close. It's hard to please die-hard fans of the series; however, Warner Bros. really got it right with the fans who have been with Harry from the beginning.

Powerful and epic, a great finale

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 is an action-packed, emotional, powerful, stunning movie. All of the characters that you watched grow up in the last 7 films are back for a final adventure, and what an adventure it is! It is the final confrontation between Harry and Voldemort, and it is epic. The movie has a lot of emotion, and the score by Alexandre Desplat is breathtaking. It really feels like everything has fallen into place in this movie. It stays very true to the book, and it never wavers in it's faithfulness. Overall, the final Harry Potter film is splendid. Watch it.

I loved this movie so much!! It was very entertaining! And, it was exiting! But... I personally think it was slow. I actually liked the other movies better than this one, BUT: this was a good movie! I have not seen 8, YET. But so far I like 1,2,3,4,5,and6 better.now, just because I did not like it as much does not mean you won't like it!!! Also, you probably already figured this out, but the movies will only get more and more violent as Harry gets older. And in 8, well... You might want to watch out for a few bad words/sayings... ENJOY!!πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜œπŸ˜πŸ™ƒπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŒπŸ™‚β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜›

Lord Voldemort is ready and he’ll do nothing to stop until he finds Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and summons him for faith so he would not harm an he was told to do so. With the help of Ron (Rupert Grint) and Herminone (Emma Watson) their hope is to safe their beloved school and the professors and must defend everyone they love the most. Along the way, Harry must handled violence and loved through the chaotic battle that ever happen in the wizard world. It all ends here!!!! Get out your wand s and fight!!!

An incredible way to top off the epicness and beauty that is Harry Potter.

Let me say that first off it took me a long while to hear about Harry Potter. I didnt like it up untill July of 2011. I have to say that after i heard of the immence success of the finale, i watched the series. I am INSANELY IMPRESSED by this beautiful story. No idea why i didnt like it before in 2001, but i was soo into the Lord of The Rings. I watched the Finale in late august, a month or after it came out and nearly cried in a few parts of it. It was AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL..atleast thats the way i first thought of it as i walked out of the theater. Since watching Harry so much recently, It is now tied with Lord of the Rings as my favorite film(s) of all time. The Cast was, and will always be, the GREATEST CAST OF ALL TIME for an epic series like Harry Potter. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and my personal favorite Emma Watson did such an INCREDIBLE JOB that there is nearly nothing against them in their performance. They grew up with this, mastered it, and did a fantastic job. Their Legendary Story will live on Forever. Dan, Rupert, and Emma are now among my most favorite actors and i am glad to not have missed out on this entirely at the end. Harry, Ron, and Hermione Forever!

I can't tell you how good the movie is because it is not good, it's EXTRAORDINARY!!!! One thing is it is packed full with action! I love action. There are some parts that are plain old strange, stranger than the book's way. Here's an example, when Voldemort and Harry's head came together. That is plain old freaky! It really barely mentioned that in the book. Wait... It didn't! Thank you if you read this! P.S. Harry Potter is great and the movies are too! And if you want to know, I finished the series in about 8 months. I saw all the movies in probably 7 months. The first book made me read more and deeper into the series when I was 9 and that was only last year in 2013!

One thing that you didn't notice (maybe)

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!! This is one of my favorite movies, but one thing that bugs me every time is this one thing you guys forgot. 2nd year, Harry yanked out the basilisk fang, so there were three left. When Ron and Hermione go to destroy the cup, there were four fangs. OMG it matters so much to me but it shouldn't right? Ugh I've just been needing to let people know about it. It's sooooo buggy....

When I saw this movie in theaters, I was completely blown away. Yes, they took out what was supposed to be the defining moment in the whole movie, which was Harry taunting Voldemort before their final clash, but either way, the movie was absolutely fantastic. The musical score was an excellent way to end the Harry Potter series and this film was an excellent show of how much Harry has matured from the small boy who couldn’t even get a feather to levitate to a man who has mastered spells that not even some of the most experienced wizards could even dream of casting. The final battle between Harry and Voldemort was what caught my eye the most, barely any talking between the two of them, which is was disappointed me, because that’s not what happened in the book, but just the small conversation they had was good enough. But just the mere fact that they shot one spell after another at each other and not one word came out of their mouths was pure genius. The courtyard battle was absolutely stunning, I couldn’t stop watching it. I was so close to just yelling and cheering in the theater when I saw Voldemort evaporate into dust, what a way to go. Any way, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was by far the best Harry Potter film and if you haven’t seen it yet, I seriously recommend that you buy it now.

A few months ago my mom told me to read the Harry potter books. At first I thought they were just dumb books, but before I knew it I was reading 4 hours a day. I Read the 1&2 in 3 days.It took me 2 months to read them all.(sorry to brag)That is how much I love them and once I was done reading it inspired me to watch the movies.I watched one by one watching the drama, romance, conflict ,and solution of each one it was phenomenal. There was a time I cried ,like when dumbledore died and when a few people( not telling who died in this one).I love them and this was my favorite. Then when you're done with this one watch the first one again and see how much they've grown. These are the best books/movies of all time. Thanks Daniel Radcliffe ,Emma Watson ,Rubert ?,and Warner . This was inspiring. Get this you will think it is magnificent, if only it were real, that would make my day. You will love these movies so much you'll want to meet the actors/actresses too. Rent or buy this, Lily Walker age 11

I mean seriously, I should know, this series was my entire childhood!!!!
The first time I was introduced to the movies was when I was 6. When I was 9, after my parents' constant persistance, I watch the first movie with them. For my tenth birthday, I got the enitre freaking boxed set of the HP books (I just got the 7th book today, thus finally finishing my collection after 6 years!!!!)
Little did I know back then though, is that I was in for a magical roller coaster ride for the next few years. The world of Harry Potter has grown with me and influenced me in ways you can't even imagine (if your are a full-on HP fan you would probably understand...) To be honest, at one point, my mom had to hide the books because its all I ever had out....
And let's face it, If you haven't even read or watched the HP series by now, you never really had a childhood (or a life). I know that may seem harsh but sorry guys, its true.
And boy did I ever have a childhood!!! This movie had me sitting at the edge of my seat. And if you are a TRUE HP fan, you would have seen this movie in IMAX 3D, which I did!!! Watch it, cry, laugh and you better have some popcorn and a box of tissues ready because this is truly a fitting end to not only the series on the whole, but to our childhoods as well. We all watched young actors grow into their roles onscreen and that was an amazing and a spectacular experience.
If there were two words to describe this movie: EPIC and PRICELESS.
So if you were to ask, 'Should I buy it?', my answer would be this: 'HECK YEAH!!!!'
To sum it all up: BUY THIS MOVIE, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

I've stuck with Harry, stayed up for the midnight releases of the books by Jo, stayed for midnight releases of the movies, and on the fateful day when it was my friend and I staring at the opening title, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" I had high, HIGH, expectations for the movie.
And it didn't disappoint.
Upon the sad realization that there will be no more new HP movies, I have to say, with its faults, I loved this movie. Chills ran up my spine as I sat there watching Harry Potter, almost like a dear friend to me, fight the final battle with the dreaded Lord Voldemort.
The acting was spectacular, and being a proud fan of Severus Snape since the first book, I sat there frozen to my sit while watching his scenes. Two words. ALAN RICKMAN. ALAN RICKMAN. Spectacular performance of the heartbreaking story of Professor Snape, had me holding on to every single word that man uttered, and to admit it, that was the scene that broke me to tears. I had been waiting for that scene ever since I spilled a bucket of sobs over my own copy of the book with that certain chaper, The Prince's Tale. Completely stole the show for me in the movie. Although the changed the location slightly, and I had a slight irritation of the eye color of certain characters, I was absolutely heartbroken as then I was when I read it for the first time.
Bravo, Alan Rickman. You brought my childhood to life.
Seriously, if you haven't seen this movie yet....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
I will miss this franchise, the movies, the books, and Daniel Radcliffe as my Harry Potter.
Thank you, J.K. Rowling.

If you haven't read the books, you're probably one of the idiots that thought this was a good movie. If they would have represented the last book accurately this would have been a stellar finale. Instead if takes leaps and bounds in different directions which didn't satisfy in the end.

This movie is a sure sign that a reboot will take place.
It is crucial that Voldemort not know about Harry's quest until the end. It is crucial that Harry struggle with the idea that Dumbledore was perhaps dark. Olivander must not know about the Hallows and Harry's dilemma "Horcruxes or Hallows" was a non event in this movie. Most of the characters show up as if they are made of cardboard. Minerva would never say "I always wanted to use that spell." Please. Out of character and really not in tune with the gravity of the situation. And what is with the students running amok the entire film? That was really annoying and unrealistic, not to mention, again, out of touch with the Rowling philosophy of "caring for the innocent." I am really shocked that she let the films go so far away from the message of the books. So Americanized and so shallow was this last installment. And there was no dialogue about why Harry was invincible all this time, which was really quite interesting and this information came when Harry entered Kings Cross with Dumbledore. Dumbledore's family history is really important to the story. Without it, the plot is really meaningless, because it is Dumbledoor's hand that moves the action. Secrets and Lies. Why is this so blatantly missing?
From Harry? There is no emotion and very little genuine dialogue. Is it Radcliffe's fault, because he has become so stiff? Maybe. The movie is entertaining, sure. But it doesn't stop moving, so it can cram in all the images these fast food like filmmakers think the audience wants to see before the movie's end. Devour the image and walk away with nothing to say, nothing to keep the magic alive. Harry throws the wand away in the way he did it, because it was never really a special wand; its history is not essential is what Yates wants you to accept. He fails miserably grasping the two or three major plot foundations needed to pull this movie off.
Having said this, the movie is watchable, but then again, it is an obligatory viewing for those who read the book. Just to see if the magic can be reproduced on screen. I think it can be, and better than this.

SPOILER ALERT: The special effects are amazing I have to admit, but being a fan of the books, I hated the plot. The movie starts with the shell cottage scene, Harry burrys dobby, they talk to ollivander and grip hook, so far ok. Then the gringotts scene comes, which was really nicely executed, and I feel that I might not be disappointed with this one. I was wrong. There on was all downhill. They did not zoom on Ariana as much as I would have liked, they then spent about, like, half an hour watching the hogwarts family speaking with there eyes and shouting charms and cliche pre fight phrases like " for hogwarts!" or " this will be dangerous but we must save the world. And to my horror, mconagoll just says "get out slytherins!" instead of the much deeper book line " the slytherins have to decide whom ther alliance is with" and then half of them leave! When the battle actually started it was alright, and I thought that we always had that good old snape plot to wait for. And it came and it was not bad, although I did not appreciate the fuzziness of the scene for affect. Then Harry dies, blah blah blah, and he is brought back to the castle " dead" then I really started to get ticked off at the scrambled battle after that. Ok, first of, the snake did not need to be chasing Ron and hermione, I liked it much better when Neville started of the battle with killing nagini. And what on earth was with Harry fighting voldemort! Why did he hug him and jump out the window? And why did the spell not backfire the first time red met green? At this point I was ready to chuck the remainder of my popcorn at the screen when, to my glee, Harry snapped the elder wand. Obviously in the books when he left the wand in dumbledores office, that was Rowling leaving room for another book to grow! That means if the focus of the next book was the elder wand, and it's snapped in movie dimension, you can't make another horrible movie, can you. If you read the books, don't watch. But if you didn't, I think you would enjoy it

Ummm...where is Part 1?

some were disappointed. But it can't always be exactly like the book can it? If you try to not compare it, like I did, you see just how amazing it was.
And if you have stuck with Harry to the very end (like me) you will not stop sobbing. I can't thank the actors enough. They WERE their characters. And the emotion in their acting was amazing. When I watched it in theaters I wanted to pick up my Luna wand replica and join them in the battle.
"This was the end of an era" thats what most people said, but it will never truly be the end. As long as you keep the magic alive. :)

For a movie based on only the second half of a book, they sure left out a lot. Usually i wouldn't complain about that, but unlike when i read the book, watching this movie made the end feel so, i don't know, anti-climatic. maybe it's just that all the character development was in the first part, but it felt like all action and less plot. I loved the first part, and the series overall, but this was a bit of a disapointment. not the worst of the series, but not very high up there either.

I've watched these movies since I was 10 years old. I've read the books as well. To see it all come down to this movie was exhilerating to say the least. These movies have what the "Twilight" movies never posess. They contain life choices, through thick and thin. This movie was made in the best way possible. Anyone who has seen them all before but not this one, THIS IS A MUST BUY! Nonstop action, just like Transformers 3 and edge of your seat thrills just like Star Wars 3. You can't beat this movie and i don't think anyone ever will. Cheers!

This movie was a true work of art. The acting is perfect, there couldn't have been more perfect actors for each part. The passion is incredible. They could not have found a better way to end the Harry Potter Series. And watching this in the theater made the movie that much better. If you saw it on opening night then you know what I mean. There were serious parts, romantic parts, not to mention it was also quite funny and lots of action! Genius. This movie is genius. J.K. Rowling must be so proud of how far she's come and how well this movie was done. Pure masterpiece.

So, first off, people can complain about how this movie doesnt have a beginning, but i mean...it called PART 2. haha it doesnt take a genius to figure out that its not the whole 7th story. This movie is brilliance. I disagree that its all about the action, but i do agree that you are never left unsatisfied in any part of this movie. you are always in the story with them and the actors have the ability to eluminate every moment. If you want a movie where you arent distracted by the horrible acting i strongly suggest this. Alan Rickman gives possibly one of the best performances of his lives. In fact, when i look back at all the movies all of his performances are even more eluminated because of him in this film. If he is not nominated for best supporting actor, i think its fair to say the academy really does have something against the Harry Potter series.
In short, from a Harry Potter fan, but also someone who studies acting every day, SEE THIS MOVIE. its good. if you havent seen the others, i either reccommend watching them, reading the books, or looking up an in depth synopsis for every volume. because there is no way you will ever know whats really happening, it moves pretty fast.

INCREDIBLE

I have read the Harry Potter series three times through, I have seen all the movies and they are the best things ever. I almost don't want this movie to come out because Harry Potter will be over. But we still have pottermore and wizarding world so its not completely over but it will never be the same. We will all miss Harry Potter dearly. This was a great way to end the incredible saga.

"The Deathly Hallows:Part 2" provides a smartly written, powerfully acted, action-packed conclusion to one of the most financially and critically acclaimed series of all time!
The story picks off right were "Part 1" ended, with Harry Potter and his friends seeking out the last remaining Horcruxes that will help them defeat the dark Lord Voldemort once and for all, leading to a no-holds-barred battle at Hogwarts. Secrets are revealed, loyalties are tested, and only Harry or Voldemort will leave the fight alive.
Probably the greatest aspect of this series is that it puts story and characters first, and that the visuals blend in seamlessly with the drama. The effects and battles are great, but you care more about what happens to the characters than what explodes. Speaking of which, Daniel Radcliffe gives a fantastic performance. There's a scene in the third act were he has a HUGE amount of emotion placed on his shoulders, and he nails it on the spot. Ralph Fiennes does a great job as Voldemort, and Alan Rickman; despite his limited screen-time, also does wonderfully as Snape.
I do have one complaint about this film though. It's no secret that some of the characters don't make it through the battle. My problem isn't that they didn't acknowledge that their deaths were a tragedy, but that you didn't even see them die in the first place. After seven movies where we grew up with these characters and watched them mature, you'd think that they would deserve a hero's death. Overall though, it didn't affect my enjoyment of the film as a whole.
As far as a summer movie goes, this was definately one of the greatest. As far as a film altogether, it's one of the best of the year. There was never a moment where I was bored and I actually found myself crying. Two Wands Up!

This was an amazing finish to the story. The cast did an amzing job, especially Alan Rickman. He did an amazing job and deserves an Academy Award nomination for his performance. All the characters had their moments. Magigie Smith (McGonagall) was hilarious! The action was very well done! I hope this one gets more Oscar considerations then the other movies! It deserves an Oscar for something!

Seriously, you have no idea how much the "Harry Potter" book and film series have influenced my life. You see, when I was just eight years old, I read the very first book chronicling the adventures of "the boy who lived" and from that point on, I was immediately captivated. Never before had there been a series of fantasy novels that appealed to readers my age and were extremely fun to read. So when the first "Harry Potter" movie was released in 2001, my love for all things Hogwarts grew even more. Over the next ten years, I persistently read all seven books and watched their accompanying films, but nothing could prepare me for the heart-wrenching emotion I would experience once I took my seat to watch "The Deathly Hallows - Part 2". Like many others, I just had to see the most anticipated motion picture event of the year for its midnight release in IMAX 3D and boy, oh, boy was it worth every penny! The film immediately resumed where "Part 1" left off, and from then on, there was heart-pounding action around every corner. Much to my satisfaction, the battles were just as intense as they were described in the book, especially the epic final duel between Harry and Voldemort, which had me on the very edge of my seat. In addition, the 3D visuals were phenomenal, the score was simply breathtaking, and the acting was superb as always. But it wasn't until the very end, when I actually saw Harry and his friends as adults taking their children to Platform 9 3/4 for the very first time, that I began to tear up...and I'm a grown man for crying out loud! I swear I didn't see a single dry face when I walked out of that theatre, and for good reason. The world of "Harry Potter" has not only been a great influence in my life, but that of my entire generation and many others as well. "The Deathly Hallows - Part 2" was truly a fitting end to arguably THE greatest movie saga of all time. I will never forget the memories I had watching Daniel, Rupert, and Emma grow from young, spirited child actors to the sophisticated and extremely talented megastars they are today. They couldn't have been more perfectly cast. And now, before I end this bittersweet review, I'd like to sincerely thank, J.K. Rowling, for creating these outstandingly captivating characters and shaping the childhoods of millions of avid fans such as myself. Although this marks the end of Harry Potter's incredible journey, I fullheartedly believe that he'll continue to live on in all of us, the true wizards! I don't know about you guys, but I just can't wait till the day when I can introduce my kids to "the boy who lived" so they can experience the magic for themselves! HARRY POTTER WILL ALWAYS RULE!

Let's face it, if you haven't got onto the Harry Potter bandwagon by now, you probably never will. This film doesn't even give you time to catch your breath, it starts immediately after the last film left off.
But as a lifelong Harry Potter fan, this was an incredibly satisfying conclusion to one of the greatest franchises of all time. This is the most action packed film of the series, and all of your favorite characters are back for the final confrontation between Harry and Voldemort. It's funny, heartbreaking, and the best way to send off the characters we grew up with.
Don't even hesitate - click to order this film. You won't regret it.
