I throughly enjoyed this film

Well paced & wonderfully cast! Enjoyed this film entirely. This is one of my favorite Emily Blunt films. She and Matt Damon have great chemistry! An unusual plot that is reminiscent of other films in the same genre from the TV series "Fringe" to movies like "Inception". It's a bit more fun though if you add the love chemistry betwen them. Enjoy the film (8.5/10)

I'm reading the reviews that didn't like it and the reason they didn't like it is because they didn't GET IT! It's a love story! I really enjoyed it and my wife did too!

Damon and Blunt are fine actors and this could have been a very good movie. The concept is interesting, but the writing is simplistic, almost silly, and the plot very underdeveloped. It felt like the script was written over a week-end. It's OK to rent, but not all that entertaining. If have absolutely no other options, rent it, but it's definitely not worth buying.

Well acted, well paced, and enough of a plot to enjoy. Worth a rental. Strong performances from the leads, although that’s not a surprise. A bit too much exposition at some points, and a few Hollywood pitfalls that make some moments cute when they could be more than that, but overall it’s a good flick. More like Inception than a lot of what passes for sci-fi these days—sorry to disappoint but there are no torture scenes or explosions.

Could have been so much better. A little stiff.

Great fiction movie with some thruths in the beginning of what the GOVT/ HIGHER POWER > can do as far as erasing your memory or LOBOTOMIZING or change your feelings and dictate your paths in life << that part is not fiction .Ohh and great acting to !!

Engaging, unique, thought, provoking, and unpredictable!

This is a love story not a thriller. Don't be fooled by the title or the cover of the movie, this is a gooey love story start to finish. It's pretty good, but go in expecting lovey dovey not action packed.

Matt Damon and Emily Blunt convincingly show us what “made for each other” love looks like and challenge men and women to search for the one they would die for. He heroically sacrifices everything for her, and she unselfishly chooses the one who would do that for her. Its the love every woman wants, and the respect every man needs. Any other kind of relationship is just pretending, and they challenge us to aspire to that kind of relationship.

I thought this film was great, very different and doesnt follow the normal hollywood chuff. I regret no buying it. Apple should let you upgrade after you have rented it so you can but it with cost you have paid for the rent already taken off.

Just found it extremely difficult anyone would fall head over heals for the character played by Emily Blunt. Physical beauty, mediocre, and by the script given her, character and intelligence also mediocre. Whining, immature and lacking loyalty or faith. In another words, a very common person.

She should have been endowed with exceptional beauty, intelligence and character. Someone "special".

The acting all around was good though a bit monotone throughout the movie.

The script was OK, no exceptional lines that were memorable.

It was a OK mivie worth seeing.

When this movie first came out I thought it was an Inception copy cat. Well I liked Inception, watched it again recently so I thouight I'd give it a try. I loved the movie. It evoked so much emotion from me, sucking me into the characters, feeling for them, feeling how I would if I were in the same situation. If I'm to compare it to another movie it would be Meet Joe Black. Both movies surprised me as being much better than I thought they would be and I'd be surprised if a fan of Meet Joe Black doesn't like this movie. They have a similar concept. Another movie, really story / theme The Adjustment Bureau is similar to is the Matrix triology. You may groan if you don't know what I mean, but think of an establishment holding you back, trying to make you do what it wants and punishing if you don't, think of being told this is the way life is but you know it should be different, better and I think you'll enjoy this movie

This movie was so contrived and awful. So by wearing fedoras we can jump through time and space. And then in the end by running through enough open doors with my fedora fate changes and we get a happy ending. awful just awful. you people are sheep.

But the movie felt kind of empty at the end. It was good, but I don't think I will be rewatching.

Watch it with a date. Watch it with friends or family. You won't be disappointed.

While many people reviewed this film as "typical", I fear they simply missed the point. While it wasn't full of "in your face explosives", it was a metaphorical masterpiece about life.

We enjoyed watching this movie and probably would have never seen it except Apple TV brought it to our attention. Acting and script were good.

This movie shouldn't even be under the category of action and adventure. The only adventure that this movie has is Matt DAmon running around with a girl from people trying to split them apart. Very boring movie.

I didn't hear much about this movie, but the preview intrigued me. I was surprised by how much I did actually enjoy it. There aren some slow times here and there, but overall, it was good and money well spent on the rental.

I like matt damon, but I regret to say that this movie is probably the worst movie he has ever done. I can't believe to the good reviews . The movie was so boring ,at some point I felt somebody was torturing me. If you hate a friend you can advise this movie .

The make out scene was NOT needed! It (the movie) would be @ the top of my list if no make out scene was in it. over all great movie. i would rate it 4.5 stars!!

Couldn't make it all the way through. Not an action, not a suspense- just a really lame romantic sci-fi.

This is one of the worst movies we have watched lately. You will probably get more pleasure and entertainment watching the trailer. Save your dollars, and watch one of Matt Damon's classic movies instead. The plot, whatever that was, the story line, when you could follow it, and the stiff, unnatural performances by normally excellent actors put us to sleep. Wouldn't even fly on TV in a forty minute segment. Would rate this one zero stars if I could...

If you disagree, good, then maybe you liked it. But I was 30 minutes in when I realized this is a chick flick. Crap. I'd ben duped. Better luck to you.

So I watche the wole movie and I have to say that is wasnt what I was looking for. It usually has alot more Romance and Matt Damon usally takes car of people. This movie wasnt showing his true feelings for that speciall person. He really protected that person and really took really good care of her.Trust me either this movie wants that Action and Romantic. I think he's lossing his romantic majic. Well i have to say they make a cute couple

I was expecting more of an action thriller based on the previews, but this was more of a movie about making choices and taking chances vs a sure thing. The actors were great and while I agree with some of the other reviewers that it was a little silly in concept, a little silly just isn't bad sometimes.

It's not a science-fiction, it's not an action-thriller - it is a parable, a story about two lovers who don't accept their predetermined fate. Emily Blunt and Matt Damon are completely authentic, they're acting very strong. Great end, no embarrassing moments. Thank you very much, George Nolfi, for an inspiring movie!

Looking for some recently released sci-fi? Avoid this disastrous nonsense and see Source Code instead. It is a far superior film in every way.

yeah, some good movies start out slow. if you like a good love story with a really cool plot then you'll love this. i think the bad reviewers were expecting a high action thriller, but whatever, its amazing as is. matt damon is great, emily blunt is wonderful, the end

This film uses previously explored story elements and visuals. Dark City comes to mind a few times. But it doesn't add anything new or exciting to the genre. However, the chemistry between the two leads is very strong and worth watching.
