I make it a point to never watch trailers, so I’ll never know what’s coming. The music and setting suggests that it’s an action thriller, but people don’t say things like that in an action thriller. So, maybe it’s a cloak & dagger mystery movie, but people don’t do things like that in a mystery movie, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera...

Then, it dawns on you — the writing is genuinely brilliant, and the acting is even better.

This movie is a crescendo.

Right off the bat, you see amusing movie clichés, and you start smiling.

The characters are charming, and some of the things they actually say (with a straight face) are preposterous.

The longer you watch, the funnier it gets.

Just thinking about the final two lines make me laugh, and I haven’t seen the movie in months!

Don’t take it seriously, and you really enjoy the comedic timing. Cruise delivers the perfect calm hero facing totally unbelievable odds. Diaz’s transformation from ‘oblivious' at the start of the film, to the ‘baddass’ at the end, is a fun ride to witness.

This one is a real crowd pleaser -- action, romance, and comedy all in one.

What I loved about this movie is it has a lot of action, stunts, love, romance, and it has a little bit of comedy. Tom Cruise I think did an amazing job portraying the charter of Roy Miller with his history of playing guy like Jack Reacher and more. Cameron Diaz also did a great job because you can see the reel a motion that both actor show. I love this movie and I have seen it like 5 times it is something I will never get tired of.

I give this five stars not because it’s an important movie but because it succeeds perfectly at what it is trying to be: a charming action comedy that leaves you hoping for a sequel. Both Cruise and Diaz are well within their comfort zones as actors and their portrayals are utterly convincing, their screen chemistry is excellent and their comic timing doesn’t miss a beat. I especially like the way Cruise almost ventures into Johnny Depp territory with his screwball take on a stock character. Both stars also have some great lines that are original enough and funny enough that they are repeated around our house in various contexts. An excellent script, good pacing, and with one exception a terrific supporting cast. If you have any little kid in you, you’ll enjoy this one. It certainly appealed to my inner child.

This is an all-around great movie- it has action, comedy, romance, travel, cars (some beauties, there), disaster, hitmen, fireman, spies, conspiracies... am I forgetting anything? Oh yeah, and Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz- I can do without much of their respective work, but they are AWESOME in this film! Fairly family friendly, too- a few words, lots of action, and some tasteful romance- not your usual over-the-top sensuality. Its a feel-good movie with enough twists to keep it going, even if you can kinda guess how things turn out. So if in doubt, rent it- but you'll want to see it again.

Knight and Day is non-stop entertainment, everything you want in a feel-good action movie. Tom Cruise really amazes with his stunts!!! Cameron Diaz is a delight to watch, the comedic timing between Diaz and Cruise is mesmerizing! Loved the locations, loved everything about this movie (though, it would have greatly benefitted from a more lively theme song): entertaining plot, comedy, action, adventure and romance!!! Very surprised this movie was not as well received when it was in theaters, I think, we movie-goer's are just plain spoiled with all the great films released. Knight and Day is one to keep. :)

It's a good watch. Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz play fairly well off each other. Near the end, it gets a little awkward, but overall Tom Cruise plays the role of untouchable well.

Tom Cruise's character is as good as a comic book character such as Batman in this movie. The only difference is he does not have a nickname and a costume, that's it. This movie is totally fantastic from the start to the very end of it and Cameron Diaz is also great that doubled the fun actually...

Refreshing without the harsh language thrown in like most movies, great acting with chemistry between actors! The flirting was terrific for Tom Cruise. Fun car action. Some mystery. Loved thinking about if he did do his bucket list and if she enjoyed it too!!!

Tom Cruise is HOT:))

This movie is mindless fun, and very entertaining to watch. Lots of aciton, and no emotional baggage. Cruise usually has this aura of Confidence and Cockiness. In this move, he comes across as just plain arrogant, although he hides this well in a number of scenes. This is not good enough to buy. I would buy movies like Blade, The Matrix, and Eleven - this move is not in the same class. Also, the jokes in the movie would be funny only once.

This movie is exactly what it appears to be from the trailer. A fun,cheesey, action-packed,romantic comedy. It was nice to see the re-teaming of Diaz and Cruz after their work in "Vanilla Sky". This movie was entertaining enough with the action and the comedy. A cutesy spy story practically wripped from the pages of a Danielle Steel and a Ian Flemming novel that has been pieced together. It's a pretty good movie for a date night or kickin' it with "yo girlies" or even "yo mama". So,sit back, relax and nibble on some popcorn. Enjoy and try not to think too much. It's all in fun!

I wasn't sure at first when I saw this movie, but I was so happy that I did once it finished. Very creative, original. ATTENTION TO THOSE WHO HAVEN'T WATCHED IT YET: You must pay attention to the WHOLE movie or else it won't really make sense. Fantastic movie! Love it!

I love action movies and buddy movies, but this was terrible. The special effects (even regular driving scenes look fake). You will regret renting this movie.

I must say that I had very low expectations on this one. I expected just another unbelievable action flick with Mr Cruise. It still didn't shake my disbelief but it was a highly entertaining, cute parody on the genre.

I can't believe the "Rotten Tomatoes" score. I don't even like Tom Cruise. Still I found the movie good, clever fun with plenty of action and twists and turns in the plot. Ok, they plot thing is a little loose and the reality factor is faint. But, Cruise and Diaz made me laugh. Sheer fun. Don't get too serious because this is not serious. You'll like it.

Kinda dumb

When I saw the preview I said WOW!

I remember this movie coming out and the critics saying it was a very bad movie etc. therefore I never watched it. The other day my family and I got together and my dad rented the movie and it was hilarious in its own cheesy way. Like a mission imposible/james bond but funny. Some scenes were like okay unreal, yet funny. Im not a huge fan of Diaz but she did a good job and so did Cruise. Over all very funny movie more so then expected.

A wreck of a film. Horrible chemistry, cliched, and most of the time just plain irritating.

Horribly unrealistic. I understand that movies usually portray scenarios or situations that often-times would be deemed rather 'unrealistic', however, this movie was one of those in which if the dilemmas were to be a realistic situation, nobody would ever act or react the way that these people in the movie were depicted to have done. There were many times during the viewing of this film where I questioned as to whether or not I was viewing a Slapstick comedy...horrible movie and I was thoroughly disappointed.

This movie was certainly not to "deep" but it was well-paced, very entertaining, and not always predictable. The plot was enjoyable and Tom Cruise did not try to duplicate his Mission Impossible character. We'd love to view it again!

I am not a Tom Cruise fan, but I enjoyed this movie since he was funny in a self depracating way. How he could pull that off while at the same time being a super-spy who was unstoppable is beyond me, but I laughed and the movie was entertaining. Cameron Diaz pretty much won me over as the sweet but capable leading lady. There were a lot of 'drink' this than wake up after all the action was over moments that didn't sit well. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of action scenes but like some good theater there are too many "you just waking up, you missed a lot" that we as the audience didn't see either. Gave me the impression that they were doing that to save some money. All in all I had a good time watching this movie. It won't be nominated for an Oscar, but it will let you forget your troubles for an appropriate amount of time.

People have been saying it's not really for teens....I'm 15 and this is one of my favorite movies. I never really cared for Diaz or Cruise until I saw this. It's so funny, action packed, and has just the right amount of romance. And I love the ending!! :D I saw it in theaters and just rented it the other day. I would have bought it but I didn't have enough money D: haha it's worth the rent amount! (or buy amount)

At the beginning you're like why did he picked her? And stuff but just from that very beginning action and comedy is served in your plate. The acting was amazing,it was hilarious,the action was phenomenal so was the stunts which Tom Cruise did by himself and so did Cameron. This is the typical Tom Cruise action movie. Guns, car chases, and all the same jazz. At least Cameron Diaz adds a little humor to break up the constant jazz.

While there weren't many surprises, the ride to the end was very good. The action was almost non-stop. Cruise seemed a bit distracted towards Diaz. I almost wanted a little more "cheesi-ness", but it was still a very entertaining movie. Definitely a thumbs-up in my book.

I couldnt wach more than 30 minutes before I had enough. It was a complete waste of time because the plot was barely decent and it kept getting worse& worse. Tom Cruise wasn't bad but Cameron Diaz was terrible, I ususally dont appreciate her movies except for My Sister's keeper which was phenomenal. Really, get Killers instead, that was great!

He rides a motorcycle off a bridge, does back flips, shoots multiple enemies, and lands on top of a car? This movie looked promising based on the trailer, but plays like a comedy. Maybe Will Farrel could have pulled it off, but the sad truth is, it's supposed to be a serious action flick. It's really laughable. I just had to fast-forward through some of the action scenes because they looked like a video game in God mode. Who in Hollywood pays people to write and produce junk like this?

Remember the Tom Cruise we loved in the 80's and 90's? He's back! He can melt you with one look...watch it and see!

I rented the movie before deciding to purchase it, and discovered the purchased version had been stripped down of several key scenes - very odd indeed. I was always of the impression that when you purchase movies, you get extended plays, NOT the other way around. This was very disappointing. Had I known this would have been the case, I wouldn't have wasted my money.

Actually thought it was a very fun movie. GREAT for date night... Something for each of you. There's just enough romance to not turn the guys off and there's just enough action to not make the ladies get bored. Worth the $3.99

Definitely not an award worthy film, but it is enjoyable. The story line is cheesy and the writing is predictable but the acting is all right. Overall, it does what it's intended to do: cure you of your boredom for an hour or so.

Great movie!... There were some pretty funny scene's and action packed fun.

I really liked the movie. I personally do not like Tom Cruz but here he acted really well. Cameron was good too. The action is as expected in these kinds of movies and reminded me James Bond. A lot of suspense and super human power but easy to watch. I do not recommend it to kids or teens because of violence.

Action packed, funny, and light hearted. If you want to kill 2 hours and $4 bucks at the same time this is a good way to do it. Plus Cameron is hot, hot, hot.

This movie is totally fun, action-filled, romantical, adventurous, a little mysterious--okay, maybe more like a tiny-bit--and simply funny. I don't like chick-flicks, which is why I prefer action movies, but this was really cute, and I left the theater with a huge grin on my face that I couldn't shake off.

Now I haven't seen this extended version--and I have to say, the theatrical version was long-enough for me--but I'm renting it now, and I'll edit this if there're any important details to add...

Rent this if you like cliche action movies or cliche chick-flicks, but would like to see both themes in one film :3 And have fun.
