I, in the simplest words, love this movie. It's amazing to me that they made such a fantastic movie from such a disappointing novel, because the very last word that comes to mind when thinking of this movie is "disapointing". Meryl Streep is incredible- she is so great as Miranda, she steals the movie. I simply love the way she portrays her, and made the shallow character I strongly disliked into a powerful, beautiful human I came to care about. And Emily Blunt is my favorite character as the haughty, stylish, and sarcastic first assitant to Miranda, and I love her character. Of course, the charming and beautiful Simon Baker gives a small but memorable role as Christian Thompson, and with my favorite Stanley Tucci as Nigel, who I am a huge fan of. And of course, the beautiful and talented Anne Hathway, a rising star, as the clumsy and terribly un-stylish Andrea "Andy" Sachs who blooms into a gorgeous young lady. Overall? I would give this movie ten stars out of five. I love it. I currently watch it all the time, and I'm dying to get it on my Ipod. Incredible movie, highly reccommended, you will love it!!!
