80s teen sensations Molly Ringwald (Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club ) and Andrew McCarthy (St. Elmo's Fire ) drew raves for their starring performances in this hit love story by John Hughes (Ferris Bueller's Day Off ). I've seen this movie more than two times so you obviously might now on my title it says ducky is my favorite he is honestly I wish I say he's cute kind handsome really funny actually. My point is I love ducky. Not to mention he's very cute

Story is meant for the intellectually challenged.

Not a movies designed for anyone seeking a deep story.

Not funny, not emotional, not romantic.

On the level of Dumb and Dumber, just not as funny.

Sooooo many better movies out there.

This movie is FANTUBULAR!! Lol but I'm giving one star for the simple fact that you can't buy the movie. I REFUSE to rent it but I would buy it in a heartbeat!! This is a classic awesome movie! We also need Valley Girl for purchase instead of rent only and North Shore needs to be added to iTunes!! It doesn't seem like Apple iTunes has been listening to the customers. If this changes I'll def give 5 stars!

What could have so many guys seen in Molly Ringwald??? Suddenly every guy in school was in love with her!!!

I didn't find the movie very believable...

If you want to watch a good John Hughes movie rent "Some Kind Of Wonderful".

Yet, John Cryer is hilarious, Andrew McCarthy is really cute, and Molly is very natural.

I had seen The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles but I knew I was missing out. Omg...Duckie is just about the funniest character John Hughes has ever had. The scene in Trax (the music store) when Duckie was lip syncing is amazing and hilarious. Awesome movie! I'm just 19 but I enjoy the classics.

This is such an AMAZING 1980's movie. I hate how guys are turned off by the name though. I'm a guy who LOVES this movie SO much, and when I say it's name guys are like "WHAT?". It's AWESOME, the name is like The Princess Bride, it sounds girly, but the movie is not. This movie has an amazing soundtrack, the songs off this are so good!

Blane was so boring! She had waaaaay moore chemistry with Duckie, I mean Duckie was just amazingness. The 80's were good times for movies let me tell you. This one is good but it pales in comparison to Sixteen Candles, which pales in comparon to The Breakfast Club. Seriously watch the Breakfast Club, you won't be dissapointed t'ss by the same director and has Molly in it ^-^

My friend recently recommended that I watch this movie. Although I was born several years after this movie was released, I absolutely fell in love with it. Molly Ringwald (Andie) did a excellent job as did Duckie and Andrew McCarthy (Blane). The story is somewhat of a Romeo and Juliet themed movie but it is great fun. I would definately recommend it.

From the music to the clothes, it seemed as if these two things were the most important things we had to worry about during the decade. It was a time when things were still so innocent and happy.

I purchased this movie when it was for sale back in July of 08 and now I see it is only for rent. When it does become avialable for sale once again, I highly reccomend it to anyone who was a teenager and who became an adult during the period. I also reccoment the Breakfast Club, avialable on iTunes as well.

I have to write a paper about Marxism in this movie, and i'm doing my paper late... so i don't remember certian scenes. It was a pretty good movie though, though not as good as the other movie i had to use in the paper [My Fair Lady]. I always enjoy John Hughes [screenwriter], and movies filmed in chicago area. Worth renting... though I didn't find it comical, even sort of depressing.

I'm so excited "Pretty in Pink" is on iTunes!! This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The characters are so realistic and hilarious. I love seeing the 80's style in this movie, too- so cool. This movie was very well made and is a great movie to watch when you need a laugh and want a little romance to go with it. Thank you iTunes!!
