This movie is great, funny, and fun. I love this movie a lot. I love all of the characters in this movie. It is one of my all time favorite movies ever.

I first watched this bcuz Cary Elwes is in it. He is one of my favorite actors. I love him in The Princess Bride. It IS hilarious! Me and one of my best friends' favorite parts is when the Sherrif of Rottingham asks Robin Hood "and what makes u so different?" And he says "Bcuz unlike other Robin Hoods I can speak with an English accent!" Lol

If you haven't watched this movie your missing out big time. The movie's funny it's overthetop and just plain old hillarious so if you haven't already WATCH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched the movie and it was funny, but too cheesy and the acting was terrible. Plus, the girl Robin likes can't even ACT like she has an accent, funny or not.

If you guys are into cheesy movies I highly suggest this one.

This is a classic comedy. It’s fantastic, and the humor isn’t so vulgar and anything. It’s good old classic Mel Brooks satire everyone loves. Like, you just can not NOT like this movie!! It’s got catchy song, cheesy romance, movie references, fourth-wall breaking, etc. It’s just amazing, I absolutely love this movie.

Please iTunes put Young Frankenstein in HD for sale.

Let me first echo the rest of the reviews by saying GO WATCH THIS MOVIE. It's hilarious, it's nuts, it's Mel Brooks at his finest (except for perhaps Young Frankenstein, The Producers musical, or of course Blazing Saddles).

If you love comedy or have seen/heard of Errol Flynn's "The Adventures of Robin Hood", you're either going to be offended by this film or you'll love it. Brooks does an excellent job of including parts from the original film while making a polite mockery of it all. Even if you've never heard of Errol Flynn, Carey Elwes plays up a version of him for us to enjoy, with great lines like "Wait a minute, I'm not supposed to lose! Let me see the script." If you think you've seen him before, Elwes plays Wesley in "The Princess Bride", so yes you have seen him. The songs in the movie fit well, including the titular Men in Tights about the fact that they're, well, men in tights. (They're butch!)

Lots of little appearances and big roles by incredible actors, including Tracy Ullman as the creepy lady with the nose. I forgot her name. There's a wonderful guest appearance by (Sir) Patrick Stewart as King Richard (thanks for the spoiler, iTunes).

Honestly, my only complaint is that it was a little long and didn't have more songs.

Again, if you like Mel Brooks, Robin Hood, classic comedy, 80s movies, Carey Elwes, Patrick Stewart, what have you, you're gonna love Men in Tights. Definitely worth $15.

I love this movie it is the funniest one ive seen. no joke. i also liked Spaceballs. if u like this then buy or rent Spaceballs. yes some of it is insanly stupid, but thats wut makes it hilarious! :)

Mel Brooks always comes to the table with his movies. This is a perminate movie in my collection partly because Dave Chapelle is in it and it is his first big flick and two Cary Elwes plays an amazing Robin of Locksley. Really you can't get much better, with all the Robin Hoods being to serious you need to laugh!

Could've had a better experience with this movie. I had to pause it every 5 seconds because it refused to load then it would jump ahead fast forwarding through the scene without sound for a while. It was unwatchable. Once I finally got through it, it was really funny, but it took entirely to long to watch and I wouldn't recommend buying movies from iTunes. I'm not going to do it again

It's Robin Hood, but with random bouts of comedy and madness. What's not to love about it?

Robin Hood: Men in Tights has its great moments, a few great moments that is. I laughed Mel Brooks's non sequitur rabbi and the incredibly catchy musical number. Other than that i can't say i really enjoyed it.

I went and saw this movie when it released in theaters back in the 90s. Thankfully, I was the only person there watching it (I went at some odd time during the day) because I laughed the whole way through. Easily one of the best spoof comedies around. Full of memorable one-liners, gags and general hilarity that pokes a lot at Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, old Robin Hood movies and of course bringing in themes from other movies for certain scenes.

Cary Elwes does a spot on job as the typical Robin and runs with it to great lengths. Roger Rees as the Sheriff always messing up his sentences to only sound like the idiot that he is. Dave Chappelle was memorable in his role as well.

But watch Blinkin. He's probably one of the funniest characters in the movie.

This movie is soooo funny. A great laugh at the Robin Hood myths. A tad crude, but not so much that it's disgusting. Disclaimer though: watch this movie and you'll be spewing one liners for a LONG time! Right up there with Blazing Saddles as a Mel Brooks genuis of a movie.

They need to get the albums for his movies; Spaceballs' main theme, Blazing Saddles' main theme, Men in tights song.

I love Mel Brooks. His films before this were classics. This movie did get a chuckle out me here and there, but the rest of the jokes didn't seem that funny. When the jokes weren't immature they just seemed forced. Mel Brooks is one of the Kings of Comedy. But it just seems that his last funny film was Spaceballs. If you want to buy it or rent it, then be my guest.

Saw this muvie just now. One of the best movies ever!!!!! I loved the "Patriot Arrow" flying all around. I laughed by a-- off.

I watch it like every other weekend I can't get past the part with blinkin where he says hey blinkin and blinkin says did you call me Abe Lincoln? Hahaha

"There must be another way to do the credits" one of my favorite lines. If I had a bad day I watch this makes me feel so much better

This is typical Mebl Brooks. Silly humor and sometimes ridiculous situations. Overall enjoyable, but not all the jokes were as funny as perhaps the director thought and some of it was just OK.

All of the Mel Brooks movies are great, but in my opinion, this one is the best. What better way to make fun of Robin Hood and his Merry Men than making fun of their tights (tight tights)! Richard Lewis was perfect for his role as Prince John, and I love how his mole moves around after every scene. This movie is awesome and anybody who loves comedy should watch this movie. (For all comedy fans, I also highly recomend Young Frankenstein, another Mel Brooks classic, which iTunes needs to get).

Like most of the other reviews, I'm still trying to figure out why this movies is so incredible. Oh, that's right: just look at who directed it. Seriously, no one can ever say that Mel Brooks's movies aren't side-splittingly hilarious. If your looking for another great movie by this director I strongly recommend Young Frankenstein.

I love this movie! who doesn't? i swear it gets funnier everytime i see it! I love everything by Mel Brooks(honestly the man can do no wrong) but this is just about even Blazing Saddles on my favorites list. A must see for anyone and everyone in the mood to laugh.

This movie isn't just a parody of "Robin Hood" -- it's a parody of the overblown Robin Hood as portrayed by Kevin Costner in "Prince of Thieves". Mel Brooks takes so-called "serious" cinema and turns it on its head; witness the skewering of the cowboy genre in "Blazing Saddles" or Hitchcock thrillers in "High Anxiety". Not one of Mel's best movies, but still enjoyable -- and worth it for the introduction of most folks to Dave Chapelle (his take on Malcolm X is priceless).

"Robin Hood: Men in Tights" is not a subpar Mel Brooks movie - in fact, some would argue that it's one of his best! The iTunes summary here makes it sound like it will be crude, juvenile, and campy - anyone who's seen this movie would say, "Yes, but see it ANYWAY."

Absolutely recommend. I'm so glad I found it on here and if iTunes actually put it somewhere where people could find it without searching specifically it, I think they'd find a lot of other people saying the same great things. BUY/RENT IT - you'll like it, and maybe then they'll have someone write a better summary of it.

This movie never gets old. I must have seen it for the first time 10 years ago or so. For years after my cousin and I would shout quotes from this movie at eachother with heartfelt glee. "Hurt me hurt me, save them save them!", "... I guess no one's coming!", or the very good mafia quote: "He's dead. D E D dead!" The jokes are over the top silly, which makes it work. No halfway tries. Very often these kinds of comedies fail to hold up the second time around. This one makes me laugh every single time...

This movie is so awful. I walked out of the theater on this one, and I've never done that before.

Yes, the plotline and some of the ideas are dumb, but it is done so well that this movie is utterly hilarious. A definite must-see spoof on Robin Hood.

After watching Men In Tights, you wonder how all those other Robin Hoods got away with foregoing their English accents.

Okay, I bought this movie recently expecting a lot, I got nothing. It was TERRIBLE, it was just flat out dumb, it wasn't even funny! I liked "Spaceballs", but this movie sucked.
