This is an actual movie that you can actually enjoy. The movie seemed to be going too fast through the story, but other than that, it was pretty good. I watched this like about 147 times, to be exact.

I loved this movie! I thought it was just going to be Mario liking peach and them kissing and the end and getting married and bowser dead, but turns out they live in the mushroom kingdom at the end. Better then just getting a cake, that’s for sure. I’ve been playing Mario games since I was three ( super Mario 3d world by the way) and this movie does not disappoint. Watch this. BUY IT.

I normally don’t buy or watch cartoon movies. The movie was on sale so I bought it. I was shocked how much fun I had watching this movie. The cartoon is 3d, so it looks like a video game in a lot of the scenes. If you grew up with Super Mario like me then you will love this movie 🎥

My favorite movie

The only thing I would change is that it’s kinda predictable in the sewers in the beginning of the movie.

This is one of those movies the kids and adults can watch ( especially the super Mario OG’s ) and I love it!!

Don’t get me wrong, I am a HUGE fan of Mario bros, but the plot of this movie was just so predictable. I wish they just used a more original plot line instead of that same boring plot they use in every Mario game. If they make a sequel of this, they should thinker something original instead of being lazy and recycling that same boring plot. I literally only need five words to sum up the plot of this movie: Bowser bad, Mario stop him. See what I mean, but all and all, this was a pretty good movie because let’s be honest, video game based movies don’t have a very good track record, but at least this movie is not the infamous bob hoskins Mario movie disaster, neither is it the uncanny valley live action detective pikachu movie, so I thought it was pretty good😀

The film is as enjoyable as the timeless game. Is it the most solid plot ever? No. But have you ever played a Super Mario game? You play because it’s fun, not for the story, and that’s what this is. There is plenty of fun for the kids, and adults who have any knowledge of the beloved game.

Also a great movie for kids although if they don’t really know much about the mario series than maybe not so much. Amazing movie

Bravo to the Mario movie! That was done exceptionally well. The animation was absolutely beautiful. I loved the way they did the classic side scrolling, and the way they worked Mario Kart into the movie. The story wasn't anything mind blowing, but it was the perfect amount of simplicity where it's still enjoyable. The soundtrack was also done very well, combining the original game music with real world hits. I also very much enjoyed the Easter eggs throughout. I’d give it a 4.5/5 but that’s not an option here, so I’ll round up to 5 stars lol

You should play the Mario games so you could watch the movie because there might be some things that will not you will not understand but you’ll still understand them and it’s a really good movie just there’s a bit of flicks but it’s good

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is what a video game movie should be. A simple yet fun adventure fantasy movie with good characters, dazzling visuals, outstanding musical moments and tons of easter eggs. From start to finish, the movie is a joyride. All of the characters were done really well (in terms of portrayal and voices) and they had good chemistry, especially Mario and Luigi. Their brother dynamic was awesome to see. The movie is visually stunning, compared to past attempts. The musical score is outstanding, so props to Brian Tyler! And also, it’s filled to the brim with Easter eggs, both new and old. The movie is a great love letter to the franchise, and I highly recommend watching it if you love the games! 5/5 Stars!

As someone who’s never played Mario, and doesn’t know a thing about it, I enjoyed the movie. It was a kids movie through and through. No inappropriate content, no bad language, all and all a good movie considering some other movies released lately (looking at you lightyear strange world and turning red). No woke stuff which is a win in my book. I would never watch this by myself for fun it had a predictable plot but it’s a kids movie. If you have someone ages 4-11 they will enjoy this movie.

Btw I really thought that mushroom toad guy was going to be a villain. I guess I was wrong.

This movie was really fun to watch and I enjoyed it. It brought back so many memories when I played the Mario games. It also brought me back to the Mario toys I owned when I was a kid. Chris Pratt playing Mario, Charlie Day playing Luigi, Jack Black playing Bowser, and Seth Rogen playing Donkey Kong were great. I absolutely recommend this movie if you know and played all the Mario games or if you want to watch a movie with your family. Definitely a great choice! Great for all ages.

This movie isn’t really as kiddish as you may think, families alike can enjoy the goofy-nature of super Mario bros. Princes Peach is a figurative girl boss, and I absolutely loved the extras!
