M3GAN, since the trailer had released, has been getting a LOT of hype. Mainly on Tik tok. I was counting down the days until this movie came out and gotta say…. I was kinda disappointed. Basically just a modernized Child’s Play, except worse. The film was fine, just not as original as I was hoping for it to be. Although the movie did have some real heart and emotion.

The practical effects in Child’s Play 1 were what made it great. Thst & the serial killer doll. If you’re reading this & never saw Child’s Play, take a risk & rent it. It’s sooo funny it inspired like 4-5 sequels but the OG is funniest/best. Pretend your watching a really well made film from this month thst is set in late 80s.

Chunky but with less suspense

Ok…I liked this movie. I watched without expectations and it actually had what an entertaining movie should have…good acting, a pretty good story line, believable special effects with a bit of a twist and provoked some scary thoughts and feelings. Let’s face it people, we may not be far from this type of thing being a reality. Hopefully designers can program many safety features in these AI programs. Nevertheless, this was a fun, popcorn movie for a movie night and isn’t that the true reason we go to the movies…to be entertained and escape reality for a couple of hours?

I bought this movie when it came out. There is nothing wrong with the movie itself but When I started using iTunes, I could play my movies I paid for on other players. I didn't pay to be restricted with the new format that only allows you to use iTunes only. Taking money from customers is theft and just as bad as ransomware. I want my money back for every show and movie I purchased. I wasn't aware that iTunes can legally steal and forcing me to have to use iTunes for everything I purchase from their store. It should be illegal and I don't care about the new license agreement type of crap. When I purchased my movies, shows, and music videos, I bought them for my personal use for entertainment to watch it on any player I choose before the new format. I'd advise people reading this not to purchase movies or shows and stick with DVD and Blue-ray to avoid being restricted and having your money stolen. I only have so many Gigs to stream on my Internet and re-downloading and other annoyances to play only on iTunes is inconvenient and robbery.

Great movie!

I like how people are trying down play the movie or calling it a chucky knock off when in fact the only thing about Megan related to chucky is the simple fact it’s a killer kids toy. The difference between Megan and chucky are as clear as day. Megan is a android built to learn and emotionally connect with its owner where as chucky is a possessed doll. The films barely even remotely relate in any way. With that being said through the numerous of doll like slashers this was a different take as Megan wasn’t just crazy from beginning she did what most intellectual androids do when given the capability to adapt and learn which is question humanity and the goal for Megan was simply to please her owner. Nothing of her own malice. The movie was enjoyable had its moment of “eh I can skip this part” and some creepy factors nothing really creepy but it was above average. The ending was a different twist to how these movies typically end but nothing to far different. A lot of the scenes where well done and Megan overall she was actually intense. I would rather take on other slasher dolls than Megan as she displayed above Average human actions and was very fast and precise with her movements and execution for either positioning herself to gain advantage of a situation or going for the kill. Overall this movie deserves a 8/10.

Great movie

Gees that was some crazy movie. M3GAN can sing. This was a big mistake. They forgot to put the system codes on the lifelike Doll M3GAN to prevent her from harming and hurting others. The Neighbors dog messed up the machine. This doll is out of control. It is now programmed to protect the 9 year old girl and killing others who harm her. Mostly some are harming M3GAN. Overall It’s starts out beautiful and then turns crazy because of M3GAN. This is a fine movie and of course it’s better than Child’s Play.

Why did it receive 90%

This movie was like an episode of Black Mirror that they tried to make into a feature film. They didn’t know what to do with the extra run time so they wiped something up really fast. They had a good idea and wasted it. Annabelle was a waaay better movie. Watch that instead. (Just a whooooole lot scarier than this if that doesn’t bother you.)

M3GAN with 3 instead of E! That’s a meme worthy moment in itself 😂! Hey it’s like Chucky, Ex Machina and Annabelle were put in a blender and put on the highest setting! Still good Horror In it’s Bonkers Ridiculous mediocrity!

Ok so its kinda normal in the beginning but i would not appreciate that M3GAN push that little man down the road and he was on his period me and my sis almost laughed but i feel bad for katy… i mean i like the show but rest in peace m3gan… ANYWAYS i feel weird when m3gan said “ i wont let anything harm you katy” i had some bad feelings tho and i was crying cause i wanted it to continue but it ended and i wanted part two of m3gan cause this is my fav and me and my sis were crying after m3gan got destroyed! We were crying so hard that we almost got caught cuz our mom and dad were sleeping and i loved it and i want part two cuz im a baby even tho im 12… and i support the show very much and i cant believe that there was one m3gan for actions and one for voice so she can sound older and that is it i hope everyone watches it! U did a great job!

I knew M3GAN would be dumb, but I at least hoped for dumb fun. It was sadly eye-rollingingly weak. It had no redeeming feature. The acting was poor, The filmmaking was poor… just all around meh. I didn’t even hate it, at least that would have made me feel something. I can’t recommend.
