I love action

I like this movie but I noticed there is no audio description track. This track has been produced and available on dvd but not on iTunes. It is also available for the first Venom movie on iTunes. Since the audio description track has been created, it would be greatly appreciated if it could be added to this movie. Not having it is very frustrating as a blind viewer as you do not know what is happening on screen. Thank you.

I love Tom Hardy and I love Andy Serkis but this movie is just plain boring. There is so much potential to the characters of Eddie Brock and Venom, but it will take Kevin Feige and his team to really hone that the right way. The straight up Sony Marvel films are all sorely lacking something and this movie, while entertaining at parts, just doesn’t hold up.

Why are we only given the option of buying this lame movie? I might rent it but I don’t want it locked into my library as a purchase - so I can’t watch it because iTunes is silly.

This plays like a formula B-movie with good CGI and special effects.

Your couldn’t really blame the disappointment of the Sequel! It was uneven in Areas and sloppy in others, but come on You didn’t see a Venom movie expecting Gladiator or Citizen Kane! It was just good for it’s worth and I felt was an awesome hinting into maybe 🤔 Venom Crossing over into MCU territory but Stay turned and find out on that!

Works for a venom movie and backstory and to set up a plot. A bit too rushed just like the first one, but overall a good action based movie.

When I saw it said four k I thought it would be nice. But apparently it didn’t ☹️I don’t know what is up with it but I did like the movie

Wow! This product sucked!! I have a hard time even calling this a movie. I don't normally write reviews. But, this time I felt compelled to warn fellow movie lovers. DO NOT SPEND MONEY TO SEE THIS. There was very little story or plot. After we saw this movie, we watched a kids' film called "Monster Trucks" to get the taste of this crappy movie out of our mouths. It was WAY better then this Marvel product. Good luck.

I really liked the movie due to it having very similar energy to the orginal Venom movie. If you are like me and have always liked the Venom character then you will most likely enjoy this movie as I did. Although if you didn't like the orginal Venom then you probably won't like this movie. I think that there probably should have been a little more carnage involved but the stroyline flowed well with the amount of action scenes they included. Also, a plus is the end credit scene which I think hints at what will be some really awesome movie(s) in the future!

Went into Venom 2 without high expectations. I was surprised at how funny, entertaining and a very good follow-up it ended up being to the original. The banter between Eddie and the symbiote really keeps these movies going.

Absolute B movie garbage. I can’t believe Tom Hardy signed up for this. Please Sony do what is best and sign over the rights to all your Marvel characters to Disney so they can be handled right.

I liked the first movie but this is an incoherent mess with lame, unnecessary comedy and a story that makes little sense and is poorly written. It’ll be interesting to see what they do next with the character after seeing the post credit scene.

I don’t know what’s worse, ghost rider, or this movie. Sony has done such a disservice to venom not making these movies R rated. All this movie consists of is bickering and terrible dialogue.

It was decent and a step up from the first one, but the Venom movies need to end… they are getting a little annoying and quite frankly, the story lines are awful and predictable.

Purchased the 4K steel but when I went to download, nothing but error messages. It downloaded on my iPad just fine. But not my phone? Seen others on here with same problem. Seems simple enough, get it fixed apple! Very bad form, no bueno! These one star reviews are killing the movie and it’s all on you 🍎

I don’t get why they decided to put so many jokes into the film and why this film wasn’t R Rated. There wasn’t enough Carnage as well. The post credits scene was awesome, looking forward to that. Hopefully we can get a proper film.

As I am a hardcore marvel fan of the comics this movie was epic. It satisfies just about every need to see action. My complaint though is that it’s not quite as good as the comic battles were used to reading.

The movie is perfect but I gave it so I gave it 5 stars love how now venom is mcu now only down side is the price I mean 20 dollars for a movie that came out a month ago and still isn’t for rent is down right weird but I love this movie and hope venom and Brock are going to be seen in marvel show or movie soon I mean he’s in the mcu now they have to put him in a show or movie soon I hope if they don’t im going to be mad!!!

This was a film I was highly looking forward to. Absolutely loved the first film. This film, however, was a complete 180. Story was not good. Effects were top notch. Acting was a bit of a downgrade.

Overall, watch at your own risk. Would not recommend.

Most reviews speak to being disappointed about the short run time, bad dialogue, and story that isn’t fully developed and yet their reviews give it a 4-5 star… isn’t the execution of all of those items what makes a good movie?! To say that all those things were lacking and then give it a glowing rating seems contradictory. Call it what it is…this is not a good film, let alone a good super hero movie. I’m a Marvel fan and still could not convince myself that this was a good film…even if Tom Hardy (who I love/respect his work) was in it. It was completely rushed, the dialogue and directing was juvenile, character development (much like the first) was lacking/nonexistent, the overall story was not engaging and the action sequences were reminiscent of the Michael Bay Transformer films (loud, disorienting, CGI mashup). The moment Cletus Kasady became Carnage and then dawned a suit that matched the symbiote I knew we were in even more trouble than the first 12 minutes suggested (think Spider-Man 3 when Peter has his emo dance on the streets… or Two Face with his matching suit in the Batman Forever film). Another notably uninspiring sequence was the animated story of Cletus. Instead of having actors depict how Cletus became Cletus they used a 30 second animation sequence that felt cheap and rushed. This film, along with the first, is a waste of actor talent and is an insulting installment to the MCU. That said I’m not overly surprised, Sony has continually cranked out films that do not/would not hold up to the majority of Disney/Marvel films. Tom Hardy, Venom and Marvel fans deserve better.

First movie felt like an entire story this felt more like an chapter out of a story.. action was good but overall coulda been better. First movie was massively better..

The script sucked. Dialogue was weak and plot even more lacking. When an 11 year old boy doesn’t like a super hero movie, save your money. Woody Harrelson’s acting was a shining light in a pointless movie.

Man, this movie was loud! I wasn’t too big on the first half, so much that I thought of walking out of the theatre. The movie does get better in the second half, so I’m glad I stuck with it. Just wish I had stuck around for all the closing credits, as I heard afterwards that I missed a scene. Silly me! This movie had impressive effects but, just like the first film, I thought it had some awkward dialogue. Overall, I liked this better than the first Venom movie and will definitely watch it again when it comes out on DVD and Blu Ray.

Loved the movie! The only problem I had was that it was shorter than most superhero films and I could tell that it was cut short from the pacing of the later half of the film. Hope we get a extended cut!!!

Film should’ve been rated R, There really wasn’t much carnage in the film, just a few guys getting tossed around. I saw venom let there be carnage on the Friday it came out with my friends and it did not disappoint well maybe a little mostly due to the runtime and not enough story but enough said Tom hardy is once again is great as both venom and Eddie brock and Michelle willams as Anne but Naomi Harris as shriek and Woddy Harrelson as cletus kasady was pretty good but Woddy Harrelson turn into carnage that is when the movie was at it finest. I recommend venom let there be carnage to comic book fans and spider man fans too and yes that post credit scene was something exciting. Definite must buy!!!!!

Why remove Director Ruben Fleischer from making the sequel? He made the first Venom which was incredibly Amazing and also directed Woody Harrelson in both Zombieland movies! Hope this was the first and last story written by Tom Hardy. Terrible writing. Lack of story. Woody Harrelson bit Eddie's finger for less than 5 seconds and becomes Carnage, a much stronger version of Venom. Really, this for real.!! Symbiote Riot was ten times a much better rival than Carnage. Sure hope Eddie doesn’t get bit by any animal, can you imagine a symbiotic dog Cujo. LOL.. This sequel reminds of Spider-man 3 and Superman IV. Sony Bring director Ruben Fleischer back for the third movie, please.!!!

venom movie I was really excited to see…. Until I heard it was only pg13 and only hour n a half. I wish they would of made it in a two part movie with carnage. But it was still good but I just wanted more from it.

I’ve been looking forward to this movie bc of my absolute love for Venom and I was so worried they were going to bomb this. Amazingly enough they didn’t. It was such a blast watching this and all those things I loved about Eddie/Venom were still there! Thank you for not ruining this for me.

Come for the cool action between Venom and Carnage, stay for a mid credit scene that will change everything. Overall, this movie struck me as being no different than the first one: loud, rushed, and obnoxious with bad dialogue. It was a bit better, but it was also shorter and less fleshed out. However, the mid credit scene makes it all worth it in the end. I won’t spoil anything, but the future looks incredibly promising.

Not as good as the first movie 🎥 I was entertained there were parts of the movie 🍿 that dragged but the action scenes looked realistic enough and the last fight scene looked better then the last fight scene from the first venom movie 🎥 Overall it was an alright movie 🍿
