Great monster battles. It felt like a WWE product because Kong and Godzilla were battling each other with personalities. Not much thinking involved. No philosophical questions. It’s a good monster brawl for a sale of $10. I’m glad I bought this one.

I don’t care about the same things a “reviewer” cares for; I can tell you as an absolute movie enthousiast that this King Kong / Godzilla movie was AMAZING!!!!!! Sure somewhat predictable yet the way they filmed this and even somewhat the story; it had me on the edge of my seat for the majority of the movie! Love the movie and grateful I purchased it! One of my new favorites!!!

Ps: I also purchased this at $12.99; NO WAY will I ever pay $30 for a movie/any movie!!!

The animators did a great job organizing the destruction scenes.

Everything else, including the films plot, dialogue, characters, and elementary understanding of physics and ape behavior (apes can’t swim!) is just god-awful. If this was t a digital product, I would highly recommend to set it on fire.

This film is one of the best Godzilla film in the monster-verse. But I wish the monster battles scenes were a bit more longer. I felt that is was a bit rushed and I kinda wished that they would have used Mechagodzilla more in this film. But it was awesome seeing him again in the big screen. Other than that I enjoyed watching this movie. Those long 7 years of waiting has finally come to an end. All hail to the king of the monsters!!

The beginning and middle were good but the ending was too much having them team up when the movie is supposed to be them fighting

Imagine going to the movies and taking your family which is 8-10 dollars each. My whole family saw this and we were excited to watch Kong try to beat the Gman! Good action and fun! Hope the moneterverse gets better with more Kaiju fights.

Godzilla vs Kong is the best Godzilla film since both Terror of MechaGodzilla in 1975, and the best film since the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown of cinemas around the world. Seeing Godzilla and King Kong go at it in an historic 59-year rematch (since King Kong vs Godzilla in 1962) was an absolute thrill. Adding Millie Bobby Brown’s (Madison Russell) and Kaylee Hottle’s (Jia) performances as deaf/hard-of-hearing characters, this film had it all. The best part of the film (besides the title characters tearing at each other’s throats [literally]) was MechaGodzilla’s reintroduction for the first time since Godzilla Tokyo SOS in 2003. Seeing MechaGodzilla (possessed by King Ghidorah’s spirit) fight Godzilla (and King Kong) in a 47-year rematch (since Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla in 1974) was undoubtedly the best part of this summer blockbuster

If a fan on these movies then MUST WATCH, don’t mind the bad ratings. Haters gonna hate. Can’t hate King Kong and the big bad Godzilla.

Rotten Tomatoes is part of the stupid “woke” machine. The morons rating one star because of the price are equally stupid.

Likely the least credible story of the King Kong movies in the Monsterverse franchise. Highly entertaining action scenes, loads of special effects and CGI. Gripping monster battles. But wait. A giant dome built on Skull Island to contain Kong? King Kong can talk with a little girl, and throw hook punches like a heavyweight champ? Descent into a hollow earth? A robot Godzilla? Really? Can’t wait for the sequel King Kong battling Godzilla battling on Mars.

Wow, lots of eye candy I suppose by the writing, acting in most cases, and directing is just atrocious. M. Brown is a fine actress and she does what she can with the ludicrous lines and insanely bad plot. I saw this pile of garbage in a flight from NYC to PDX, so glad I did not spend money on this pure junk. The story telling out of Hollywood the last 5 or 6 years has really gone down hill.

The movie has its flaws but it good to watch. It’s the price of the movie that I disagree with. $30 is a bit much for this, I’ll wait for the price to go down. I remember watching the original movie with Godzilla and Kong. Kong was defeated and jumped into the ocean and was swimming home. This movie had MechaGodzilla near the end and Kong in his new home.

Thoroughly enjoyed this film. Was not disappointed in the least bit. Simply put, great mix of serious, humor, action, and special effects. Any Kong or Godzilla fans will enjoy this one. Cheers

So glad I waited until it was avalilable to rent instead of paying 20$ to buy. It started out kind of OK but slowly became to excruciating to continue watching.

I just downloaded this movie and an Apple popup says something like because of my computer, I can only get 720p files!!! NOT!!! ALL MY MOVIE FILES ARE 1080P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why is this movie file 720p!!!?????

It is available for rental-Don’t miss it. It is well worth a rental price.

The rental price is about right if you’re renting for a group. This is a cartoon worth no more than $10 dollars if buying.

Just Lame for the price

Even I paid only $1.08 from Redbox with a $1.00 off. It’s still a waste of time and money. This is the worst of movie…..

For those complaining about the price tag it was only $30 because it was still in theaters. Now it’s not so the price naturally dropped down to $20. That aside, I loved this movie. As long as you can leave logic at the door it’s a lot of fun and the action is great.

Not worth $30 for new or $20 for rent if that option was available, so ill be renting this for $2 at the redbox kiosk. Stop ripping people off Apple! We are already paying sky high prices for food, gas and everything else thanks to Joe and Kamalas inflation! UPDATE! I watched the movie, gave it 3 stars, not that good. Will not buy or rent again! I still like the 2014 Godzilla better and 2005 King Kong better.

I was scared that they would rule in this film by the entrance of Mechagodzilla and the constant fighting between the three of us to be amazing.

This is a perfect monster mash film. Fast paced with BEAUTIFUL cgi. Realistic monsters and fun characters along for the ride. Really made me like Kong more and I’m already on Godzilla’s team. Definitely consider buying this or see it in theaters!!

I have liked Godzilla since I was a kid. Godzilla is all about the monster fight scene and the rest of the story is to cover why we should be hating or liking which monster. Anyone who gave this movie a one star has no idea what a Godzilla movie actually is. The bar was raised with the cgi fight scenes. I had total Suspended disbelief in the two animals viciously going at it. Loved seeing it in Dolby Atmos at the theatre. Entertaining and a fresh story,

As far as Godzilla movies go, this is the pinnacle. Everything you want, great monster battles, the bright colors make for a really cool 4K experience and the surprise (though not so secret at this point) villain is an all time favorite from the franchise. If you like Godzilla movies, you will love this movie.

I had pretty low expectations coming in, so I was pleased with what I saw, but it was somewhat predictable and could have been better written, in my opinion. Oh, and I definitely watched it in HBO Max because I was not going to pay $30 to watch it.

So Apple wants $39.99 for the four film bundle, but $29.99 for the single GvK flick. Uh, no thank you. Oh, the film is good, not great, certainly not worth a $30 price tag.

Thirty dollars!!! Even if this movie was as good as “Wedding Crashers” I wouldn’t pay 30 dollars.

Due to this 4K title employing both Dolby Vision and Atmos, you truly get a cinematic experience while wearing AirPods Max. The quality is so much better than the version streaming on HBO Max. While it’s true you’ll be able to get this at a lower price point in a little over a month, it’s puerile to complain about price gouging. Apple doesn’t set these prices; the film studios do.

You also get over an hour of extra scenes that you won’t even see at the theater. Furthermore, you’ll be supporting an industry - and all the employees it employs - that has had a very difficult year.

I’m happy with my purchase and think the value far exceeds $29.

Godzilla vs. Kong will stand as one of those movies you’ll never get tired of. This film is purely for the movie fans that wanted an all out Kaiju fight, and this film kept its promise to that. Some scenes in this film did feel tropey, but the sequences overall was a great experience. You can’t go wrong when it comes to 2 giant iconic titans! 😎
