It's a great movie - very touching, emotionally tracking with the characters and their roles and sentamentally real. However, having NO Ending or - leaving it at that, doesn't even connect with what one would presume would happen. This ending doesn't even leave it comfortably to your imagination as it points you very convincingly to a self-serving unemotionally connected society. Please ADD and alternate ending - one that shows the audience what the charaters were building up to.

I am sorry this has 91% review...I understand the Jaundra and I have watched my share or sensitive caring movies and chick flicks but even the chicks I was with thought this was a horrible movie. It tried it was an interesting topic and I am fan of the Office and Andy (Ed Helms). I love Tig Notaro and I think Patti Harrison is fresh and interesting. Sufee Bradshaw's character was smart and funny. The movie was painfully slow and ended somewhere between the birth and just before the placenta was expelled (sorry spoiler)...90 minutes of my life that I will never get back

Had so much potential

Well this wasn't gut-busting funny and I'm a huge Ed Helms fan. Just glad I didn't have to pay $19.99 for it!

Promising start that does not deliver

Liked the trailer, like the topic, I thought the lead actress was great, but the ending was terrible. It almost felt like the director could not figure out a good ending and said “oh well it’s a wrap!”

Excellent movie!

More of a drama than a comedy. Not romantic, but platonic “love” — as in a close friendship, which can be emotional.
Interesting concept with unexpected and occasionally humorous and amusing, rather than funny, touches.
Two people who had somehow experienced difficulty with past relationships managed to briefly unite to achieve their individual goals.
But something was missing. Maybe if they had had the common goal of having a baby, and/or if they’d ended up falling for each other after all they had gone through together. Seemed to end too suddenly.Another 15 minutes should’ve done it in a more satisfying way.
But the actors did a good job of expressing their emotions realistically over the unusual situation they got themselves in, and the dialogue wasn’t bad. However, I thought their sessions with the psychologist were a pointless distraction from the couples’ journey together.

No comedy

I wasn’t expecting much when I rented this movie. However, I actually really enjoyed it.
It was a very sweet movie, not a love story-a story about being human, finding friends and filling a void.
Rent it!!!!!!

Like a Lifetime Movie...Almost!

I hate lifetime movies, they're just so badly done, This movie isn't in the same class as a Hallmark Cutie but it's close. I just kept watching and watching waiting for the punchline and when I got it I said, oh, okay is that it. Very mediocre movie with underwhelming acting and horrendous editing ( nobody waits this long to respond to another charecter, cmon)

An awkward and unexpected comedy, this was a joy to watch if you have a non-millenial attantion span. One can come to like the characters and their awkwardness while having their heart warmed.

Patti Harrison and Julio Torres were especially hilarious!! Would pay good money to see more movies with those two

Sweet, but rather flat

Ending was perfect, but the lead-up was disappointing: The perhaps deliberate underplaying of emotions by the two leads undercut the build-up of their connection. Neither Helms or Harrision projected much personality. Would that such an emotionally authentic, touchingly human scene as the pair jointly picking "the" paint color for the baby's nursery could have been repeated in other moments.

New type of romcom

The trailer is what hurt the movie making it look really cheesy but to be honest it wasn’t it was charmingly beautiful of a rom com pregnancy movie that it definitely hit it pinches when it needed. This is Ed helms better work I seen him do and I absolutely love him here. Patti Harrison also deliver a really good performance that I hope I see more from her in the near future. So yeah together together is a movie for not all people but majority of the people out in this world can relate to these characters and will probably absolutely love this movie cus I know I did. Definite must buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
