Description

One morning, lonely surfer Aidan (Tyler Posey, "Teen Wolf") awakens to find that a global pandemic has turned most of humanity into blood-thirsty zombies. Just as he's ready to give up hope, Aidan spots pretty neighbor Eva (Summer Spiro, "Westworld") across the courtyard, and soon the two become "socially distant" friends. Trying to find a way to rescue her, Aidan confronts an eccentric neighbor (Donald Sutherland, THE HUNGER GAMES series) who could be their salvation—or downfall.

Good:)

Translate: This movie originally has the original. So the Korean movie is also based on the original movie and this movie is also based on the original movie. Anyway, there's no problem. I'm also a Korean person, but find out well and write a review.

Derp

It’s funny how everybody relates this to “Alive”. Yep...it’s got zombies. I don’t remember seeing a Donald Sutherland type part in “Alive”, but then again...I guess that I noticed more stuff in this movie because I was busy watching the movie instead of reading subtitles the whole time.

So bad

Save your money and watch the original foreign movie on Netflix #Alone. Acting was terrible and zombies were comical.

Terrible

I don’t know why I wanted to watch this after seeing the Korean version but I did and instantly regretted it. It’s similar but so far apart I’m acting and drama. It’s not even a B movie.

Disappointed

This is the same as the Korean version.... why did America feel the need to remake it? It’s was great just the way it was. The orginal is on Netflix check it out #alive

Oooookkkk

No I haven’t seen this one but from what I got from it.
It’s the same as alive I seen on Netflix.
I will not be renting this. I seen alive and it was really good.
I saw a few things from the preview that said it’s a ripoff
Save your money and watch the Korean version.

Waste of money - don’t rent this

Please don’t waste your money on this movie. I was so disappointed. The acting was terrible and unfortunately this was a complete rip off and copy of the recent South Korean movie. Unfortunately, didn’t didn’t even come close. I rented this because of the three star reviews. I wish I could get those two hours back plus the six dollars I rented for this. It was a joke.

Not bad!

The movie was decent and yes it is the Americanized version of #Alive. The original South Korean version was definitely better. Alone is a little different than the original but almost an exact copy.

So?

Yes its the same movie, but this isn’t considered plagiarism because the studio did not steal it and if the film industry in Korea were to file a lawsuit against the studios here, this movie wouldn’t have been released to begin with at all. Ive seen the other one to and it doesn’t really matter and nor should it matter. Plus this isn’t the only foreign movie to be made in a U.S. version so please get over it.

Rough acting

That Tyler Posey or whatever his name is ruined this movie. His acting in this movie is horrible. They should have had Shia LaBeouf play his part, someone other then him. This could have been a great movie. Just the bad acting ruined it.

Good but.. this is literally the movie "Alive"

I'm confused, is this supposed to be a remake of the Korean movie "Alive" on Netflix?? The storyline is identical. Otherwise, solid zombie flick. But weird because its... literally the same movie as "Alive."

This is the same thing that’s on Netflix. It’s called #Alive and it basically the same events but just in a different language.

Ripoff

Anyone else realize that this is a direct ripoff of the Korean horror movie #Alive? It’s literally a scene for scene ripoff. It’s also on Netflix. Save your money and watch the original.

plagiarized

they literally plagiarized the entire movie of the apocalyptic Korean zombie movie “#alone” that just debuted this year on Netflix. it’s literally the same thing, but with a cheaper budget.
