Ms. Jordan delivers a quick and dirty introduction to a couple with a past who fall decidedly back into bed before figuring out how their pasts might impact their future. I look forward to finding out as they do.

Why is it that when the book is good it goes fast and end when the story is getting good and now you have to wait. I'm going to wait because I'm excited to see how the book series ends.

It was good!!

The first book was very short, but it draws you in with many unanswered questions. What happened to his wife? Will he leave town after settling his father's estate? Is all they have lust, or is there enough for them to be happy together? I'm routing for these characters. Can't wait to read the entire series.

Being in criminal justice myself, I loved this book! The main characters have great chemistry and the plot is filled out enough to not just be about the physical. Wonderful.

This books has the starting to be good, however it's not well written, and has a ton of filler words. I couldn't make it past the first chapter because it is just not written well.....if you can over look this by all means but I'm off to find something else to read :)

Angie and Gabe remind me of friends of mine that need each other more than anything. These characters are by far one of my favorite characters written by Lucia Jordan. I just can't wait to finish reading this book to see if Gabe and Angie get their happy ever after or get ruined by unsaid secrets.

I must say, this novel did not deliver what I usually expect from you. It was missing that omph,that usually grabs me from the first 15 mins.

This had the feel of a murder mystery/romance. Something that I am not too much a fan of.

What was lacking for me was that hot and steamy visualization that have your reader hanging, no panting for more. Maybe its because the characters are both battle scared and have their own issues.

Give me back hit and steamy with plenty of visuals.

Lucia Jordon's work is so exciting and HOT! It's not hard to picture the erotic images in your head. I have read many many of her books and look forward to many more.

So good and the darkness behind Gabe is so intoxicating and I live how to make it go away he needs Angie. The chemistry between the two is alive.

It started out a tad slow, but I really appreciated the “flashback” giving us the characters history…nuthin like a lil history between long-lost lovers ;-) ! Now, I’m hooked, & yes - I need more!

I can't wait to read what happens in the next book. Really loved the story and the authors descriptions.

Good short story. Enjoyed the detail in the erotic parts. One thing though: lots of typos kept pulling me out of the story (excuse the pun). Words are missing letters. Sentences are missing words. Some words are wrong by just one letter making the sentence nonsensical and sometimes it's just the wrong word entirely. Some sentences are structured as if written by another culture. One sentence is repeated. For such a short story, you'd think it wouldn't be too labor intensive for someone to proofread it. Yeah, I know this isn't fine cultured reading but still, if you're going to put something out in the iBooks or Kindle universe, don't you want to put your best foot forward?

The book was so good I couldn't put it down I read the whole thing I like and hour .... The way she describes their love making makes me want to have that with my husband one day . I really hope to read the whole series

This is a great book, I started reading it on my way home from work and found myself deeply, engrossed to the point I missed my stop on the subway.

The first sex scene has a major continuity problem. They change locations mid exchange. And this is not a subtle change. Why wasn't this fixed in editing?

Read in one sitting love what I have read so far, cannot wait for the series. Great character connection and relating to one another with prior losses. Great descriptors in lust moments.

Gabe and Angelina had a hot and steamy summer as young adults. Now they meet again but with broken hearts. They have turned to each other to help mend their hearts or maybe not. I can't wait to find out if what they had years ago really does existed.

It's something really sweet about rekindled flames. So I am hoping that gabe doesn't have anything crazy lurking within the past 10 years of his life since Angie. Overall I liked the story and seeing that they both lived separate different lives but when it was all said and done couldn't stay away from each other. not just physically but all around.

Love all Jordan's books, sensual short reads, never tire of reading them as they are released.
