Description

Rebecca Andrews knows she is lucky to be hired as a private nurse for an elderly lady who is going on a one-month trip aboard a luxury cruise ship. But there's one big problem. The client is the grandmother of her ex-boyfriend--the guy she is still in love with, but who doesn't love her back.
Zach Carmichael can't say no to his grandmother's plea to join her on a month-long cruise for her eightieth birthday. But he doesn't expect his spritely gran to bring two private nurses with her. One of them happens to be the woman who has broken his heart--the one he believes lied to him about her feelings.
Aboard a luxury liner, their passion for each other flares again. Is it just a temporary flame brought about by the romance of being on a cruise? How can they give love another chance when they're both afraid to put their hearts back on the line?
(This book is for adults only. It contains hot sexual content.)
*****
Each book in the Time for Love series is a strong stand-alone novel that would give you enjoyment on its own. To fully enjoy the series, however, the author recommends reading them in order.
Book 1: Forever (Rebecca Andrews and Zach Carmichael)
Book 2: Finally (Sarah Daley and Jeff Carmichael)
Book 3: Again (Amanda Payne and Connor Reid)
Books 4 and 5: Coming soon!

Review: Time For Love #1: Forever

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Forever by Miranda P. Charles is the first book in her Time For Love series and focuses on Rebecca Andrews and Zach Carmichael.
Rebecca takes a job as a private nurse for the elderly Mrs. Carmichael. The job entails accompanying Mrs Carmichael on a month long cruise to celebrate her eightieth birthday. The wonderful Mrs. Carmichael is also grandmother to Rebecca's ex that she is still not over, but as he is a workaholic she believes she's in the clear. There's no way he'll take a whole month off for a cruise, right? Wrong. He dotes on his grandmother and when she asks him to accompany her he can't say no.
Now faced with a month together in close quarters the reasons behind their break up resurface. He thinks she lied to him, she believes he never really cared. Even after he realized how he felt, his close friends and family (NOT grandma) convinced him she was a gold-digger so he never went after her. Oh how painful these misunderstandings can be for a reader, when all you want to do is just knock their heads together and demand they figure it out, tout suite.
With a happily ever after ending, you intuitively know they'll get there but the journey of angst and misdirection is the fun part. I am excited to read more from this author in the future.
