“Black women can definitely blush.” .....please explain why this statement was necessary?!
And seriously, there's only ONE therapist in the entire world?
Decent enough book though there were certain statements that were completely unnecessary within the development of the storyline. Not crazy about the flashbacks at the end of each chapter. I think these could have been better to woven into the story as she progresses her relationship with Jackson.

Frustrating
Overall, the think the story is good. It is well written but I was really frustrated with the main characters. I didn't like either of them very much. The best part of the book was the flashbacks. They were the only time I cared about the characters. Andi cried WAY too much. I would have loved to see her slap Jackson for the way he treated her. I loved the supporting characters and probably will read their books in this series.
