I haven't read a book like this in a while. I loved the Providence series by Jamie McGuire, if you're not familiar with the series go check it out, I wanted to read something along the line of a different world than a human one. The action was great, a little bit of romance, and hilarious/edgy moments that just keeps you wanting to read more. Great read. I highly recommend it.

This book is a great read! Definitely worth the time.

I haven't even finished the book yet but it's so gripping I'm forcing myself to step away and get back to the real world. And trust me, after reading this story you won't want to go back to reality. The author lividly tells the tale of a world of demons, vampires, trolls, etc. And it is NOTHING like "Twilight" so please don't judge this book based on "Twilight". It's incredibly well-written, especially considering it's a free book! I still can't believe I was able to snag such a great book without cost. This book has adventure and action, intricately and well mended with themes of self discovery, friendship, and a bit of teenage life. VERY well told, and leaves you on the edge of your seat. READ THIS BOOK. And set aside two days to do it because you won't want to put it down. ;)

What an awesome YA book! Every time I read this book, I feel the exact same awe like I did reading it the first time. Excellent story, definitely not a rehash of vampire hunter -type story. The suspense & mystery keep you on the edge, & can't put the book down wanting to know what happens next. Excellent writing from Karen Lynch!

I was so emotionally attached to this book that i was screaming and talking to the characters in the book like they can hear me. That's how I know the book is good. Lol but I already read the whole series and I absolutely loved it. Best series I have read in a long time. Keep up the good work miss lynch. Everyone read this book. It has action and romantic in it. The perfect combo!!!!

At a time where more and more fantasy books seem one and the same this one is unique. Void of love triangles and ignorant heroines this book brings a more down to earth heroine who makes mistakes. Sara meets tons of boys and befriends them without managing not to fall in love or make them all fall in love with her. She doesn't have unrealistic ideas about her abilities and is not too proud to ask for help. Definitely a refreshing read. I look forward to a little love in the second book....

Great first book in this exciting and fun series. So glad I found these books! LOVED Relentless, and each book gets better. I can't wait for Warrior to come out. I hope Karen Lynch continues to write additional books.

I have been needing something this great for a long time now.

This book keeps you on your feet, that’s for sure. Fast paced, lots of action and you suddenly find yourself questioning everything and everyone just as her main character, our narator Sara does. I fell in love with the series quickly as it pulled me in.

Starts off pretty boring but stick with it—I eventually got hooked and stayed up until 4am to finish reading it.

Started a little slow, but once it got rolling I was hooked. I almost debated on if I was gonna stop reading in the beginning because of how slow it was to pick up and how bratty the main character was being. Loved the book and I will be reading the next one in the series shortly.

I have to admit, I was a little confused with the first few pages of this book. BUT! Within a very short period of time I got involved in the book - the characters are great. I love Sara and her friends, I love Nikolas. Chris is pretty great too! As soon as I finished this book I immediately bought the second book. This series is amazing

I decided to download this book after reading the reviews. It was out of my normal favorite genre but I had nothing else to read. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Karen Lynch has a smooth writing style with attention to details and character development. This is one of the few books I have been interested enough in to read over and over. The story drew me in to the point I was off to get the next in the sequel and am now impatiently waiting for the third installment, "Rogue".

Fabulous book! Couldn't put it down. The author writes fantastically, which makes it easy to read. The characters are amazingly written so that you fall in love with every one. It's got an interesting plot and more than enough action to hold my interest. Already read the sequel and am just waiting for the third book in the series to drop. Can't Wait!!!!!

Wow this book is amazing, there are very few books I like to read again and this is one of them. It had me hook from the first chapter. Action, adventure, and secrets revealed; this book doesn’t disappoint. You feel like you are right there with Sara, Roland, Peter, Chris, and Nikolas. Don’t miss this adventurous book. So excited for the future books.

Reminds me of the Sookie Stackhouse series a good read

This book is my all time favorite book ever written. I am a fanatic for books especially paranormal romances (I read about four a week) and this one had me flipping pages like no other. I read the book like it was my last day on Earth and if it was my last day on Earth I would want to meet the characters of this book in person. When I read the book it felt like there was a movie in my head and I could easily picture all of the characters. Also their personalities were all so different but the characters were all develped tremendously throughout the entire book. I would say that if you want to be sucked into one of the best books you will ever read then you should read this one, it changes how you think about paranormal romances.

Karen, I've read many books, I couldn't put these down. They are action packed, there isn't a second of boredom reading these. All of the supernatural creatures were amazingly interesting. What you did with Sara's character was just phenomenal! I loved every character in the book, Nikolas was very well thought out also. I can't even compare your books to any other series, they are that good. Keep writing, I can't wait till October I've already pre-ordered!

Who is Karen Lynch? She is the author of a wonderful series starting with Relentless. I probably would not have read Relentless if a friend hadn't recommended it. I don't usually read books with vampires and werewolves. Relentless builds a world with many different creatures (including hell hounds...I want my own hell hounds). I fell in love with the characters and overall I just loves this book and Refuge and cannot wait for

Rogue to come out. I already have pre-ordered I copy!

This book is absolutely incredible-it's so hard to believe that this is a debut novel. Strong female and male leads with exceptional character development and a page turning plot. Seriously, stop reading reviews and pick this one up! You will love this series.

This is one of my favorite series. The writing is well above most authors in this genre. I will read anything she writes.

I found this book just browsing through the free book option. The cover looked interesting so I bought. Man am I happy I bought this book! Karen brings you in her world instantly. I love all the characters. This book has some action in it which makes it even better! I couldn't put this book down. If you need a good book to read I highly recommend this book!

Cant wait for sequel

I was exceptionally pleased this was such a great book. I downloaded during one of my free book downloading frenzy and am so glad I did. It captured me from beginning. I can't wait to read more from this author!

Relentless is a totally different take on the paranormal genre than I've read before. From page 1 I was drawn in and read the amazing story within 2 days. Sara's friends are fun and unique and I loved getting to know each one. Sara definitely has a knack for getting herself into some crazy and not so safe situations. Nikolas, oh Nikolas, let me count the ways… He's overprotective, hot, and always there when Sara needs him. With unique characters and laugh out loud scenes I highly recommend checking out Relentless if you enjoy paranormal stories.

This book is such a great read. The foreshadowing used by Karen Lynch in the book is incredible. She is such a talented writer. I immediately started on Refuge after finishing. Cannot wait for Rogue in October!!

Fabulous story line and writing style. I was immediately entranced and am avidly awaiting the sequel!

I absolutely loved this book! The characters are realistically flawed and genuine enough where the reader can easily connect with them. Not to be considered a simpering weak-willed protagonist who needs to be protected, but a courageous independent girl who can stand her on her own yet knows when to depend on others. The plot is captivating and otherworldly, the grammar is consistent and supportive.

Definitely recommend this!

I couldnt get enough of this book, & thats really saying something. I couldnt put it down. Reviewing books is not something I take the time to do, not always having wifi access, but I just had to for this book! I enjoyed the characters, Sara's awesome personality, her struggles, compassion, & the relationship w/ her & Nik. I cant wait to read the next one & see where it goes. Maybe one day I can afford it or it becomes free... Great great story!

It started a little slow for my personal taste, but became a serious addiction 1/3 way through. I love the dynamic of all the characters and I think Miss Lynch did a great job setting up certain situations that happened later in the book and will happen in the next book. I am having trouble waiting until December! I need it now!!!!!

It's been a while since I have read such a great book! I could not put it down! Credit must be given to the author for creating such a beautiful world, with such an amazing array of characters. The speed of the book prevented me from stopping and I cannot wait for part 2!

I read this on my kindle and loved it!! The story and characters were well developed and very interesting. It was such an easy read. The author wrote well and it just flew by. I'll definitely be getting book 2 as soon as it comes out!
